It had been harder and harder, but so far Geocronite had managed to get away with not stealing anyone's energy. He knew it would catch up to him sooner or later, which is why he rarely ever powered up anymore. He just couldn't do it after the theater event. So many people knocked out or dead... and his "fellow agents" just went along with it willingly. Some of them even looked like they were having a great time!
It made him sick.
He hated how he had been forced into all of this. He hate that he was still stuck in this place with no way out as of yet. At this point he was desperate. He had been told by a number of Order members that there should have been a way to get out... but it would still mean he would have to fight. At this point though, Geo didn't care. He would willingly fight the Negaverse agents.
Not at this time though. He was hanging out on one of the city's many rooftops, hoping that if he at least looked like he was doing something, that he wouldn't be bothered by anyone. Unfortunately for him, tonight just wasn't his night, and he groaned when he felt the approach of a familiar aura...Nuxaz sorry for taking so long to start this!

Energy gathering wasn't something that was particularly high on her list of priorities, but it came easily enough. There were several people from the 'other side' who'd made bargains with her and offered her their energy willingly enough that she was never quite short and she had a host of underlings who's quotas were managed so that they were in excess, just in case.
Except...
Except one of hers had been particularly difficult about turning things in or even retrieving energy. In fact, he had been entirely difficult about everything and it left Stellerite with a sour taste in her mouth. In contrast with her devotees, Geocronite was a thorn in her side and someone that needed to be reigned in and reprimanded.
Which was why, when she spotted the familiar uniform, she found herself approaching him without a second thought. She had other things to attend to but...
"Ah, there you are," she said in her sweetest voice once she was close enough.

Geo flinched when he heard her, though he should have expected it with how close her aura had gotten. He had a been too focused on well... mostly trying to ignore the situation he was currently in, and it was because of this woman.
He sighed and turned around to face her, arms crossed and with an expression that said, 'yes'? He didn't respect 'his' General. She had corrupted him against his will in the first place, of course he wasn't going to be happy about doing all of this. Having to gather energy, having to hurt people. He was about being out in the wild and experiencing the world, but that didn't mean he wanted to go around and hurt people on purpose.
It took him a moment, but he realized he probably should have addressed her a bit more... 'properly'. "General Stellerite." He hated staying it. He hated having to report to someone else.

Stellerite swallowed and an inhale of breath kept her from losing her carefully crafted composure. Most of her subordinates fawned over her, revered her as a goddess among men and yet, here was this pain doing everything he could to be difficult.
It was annoying, she had to attempt to be sweet or reasonable at least one more time. Then, she'd move into more...drastic measures. Reprimand was never pretty, but it could be useful.
There had to be something to make him fall in line.
"You haven't been checking in," she said."

Geo wanted to snarl at her, but instead kept his face neutral. Of course he hadn't been reporting in. He didn't want to do any of this in the first place. He was forcibly dragged into all of this by her and the only reason he had stayed was because he was a coward and only cared about staying alive instead of actually trying to do something about the evil that he was now serving. But that didn't matter to her. He sometimes wondered if people like her were just sick in the head somehow. To actually want and like all of these people around them that had no thought about life or the planet... Just disgusting. He wanted to punch her in the face. But he knew how well that would go. He took in a breath. Would it be better to try to make some excuse? Well either way, his "General" was going to be mad, so why even bother? It's not like he could blame it on someone else. She would see right through him. This was why he liked the wilderness better than people. It didn't have people. "No, I haven't. It's hard to do one's... job when they're morally opposed to it." He made sure he didn't sound sarcastic at the end but boy did he want to. He wanted to give her attitude, but what would that do?

She wanted to roll her eyes at him, but she didn't. As far as she was concerned he was being an absolute child about the whole thing and if the positions were reversed, maybe he wouldn't have such a stick up his a**.
Maybe he didn't like that it was a woman who was over him.
Stellerite thought that if that were the case, then he'd need to get over it. Preferably quickly.
"You're making it out to be worse than it is. If you're doing it right, you don't even have to 'hurt' people," she stated, thinking about how most of her 'victims', as she thought he might call it, were willing and gave up their energy.
"We're asking for the excess, most of them don't need all of the energy anyway."

This time, Geo couldn't help the snort that came out of his nose. This woman probably had her own "ways" of getting others that involved something that made people fall all over her in certain ways. "If they really knew what they were giving up, then I doubt they would be letting it go." From the rumors and what he had read in the database... "It's not right." He just couldn't do it. Even if there were some humans that deserved to be hurt, there wasn't enough to justify what they were doing. "I try to gather what I can from those that deserve to be drained, but there just aren't enough, and I'm not going to take it from others who are... better." He couldn't say innocent. No one was 100% innocent. Humans ran on greed, it was structured in their own survival.

It was times like this that she was grateful for how annoying her partner could be because it gave her enough practice with reigning the hot flashes of irritation in and making sure that none of it leaked out into the carefully crafted image she presented of herself to the world.
"You're reading too much into things," Stellerite told him, stepping closer. "A little bit of sleep, some food and they're good as new. All of my energy quotas come from eager and willing donations."
Sure, most of the donators were completely wrapped around her fingers why the point of draining but she didn't see why that made a difference.
"Even some of the senshi are willing to donate energy to our cause, especially the glowing ones. They always have so much energy to spare." She pursed her lips. "I don't understand why you're so hung up on technicalities of things. The only one making your experience nasty, is you."

Somehow, Geocronite didn't believe that energy was regained just by sleeping and eating. There had to be more to it. Otherwise it wouldn't be so powerful would it? "Of course they are. I'm sure you've never had to threaten them either." The sarcasm flowed out of him. He couldn't help it. She was lying. He knew she was. She had lied to him about what group she had been in, and had forced him into all of this against his will. Why would he believe her now? "The only one making the experience nasty is me is it? Yeah, I'm sure the Negaverse is definitely the good guys, what with forcing people into joining their group and causing them extreme pain along the way. And let's not forget the punishment they get when they don't follow their "leaders". In most cases that would get you arrested for assault. But in the Negaverse it's okay, but somehow the Negaverse is the right one to join? Excuse me if I don't believe you. At all." He would get punished, he knew he would, but he couldn't continue to lie to himself about all of this.

Stellerite pursed her lips.
"As a matter of fact, no I have never had to force anyone to give me energy." He would believe her or he wouldn't, it didn't change the fact that it was the truth. "You misled me, if our genders were reversed, you wouldn't be acting the way you are."
He could run his mouth all the wanted, it didn't change the fact that he'd been intending to join and then tried to back out last minute. When you signed up to join the military, you didn't get to just back out.
"You're not even trying. You're just crying about things because you don't care to try."

Now who's being the sexist? Geo thought to himself. As if he would be acting any differently. If "she" was still forced into the group against her will, then he doubted that "she" would be doing this willingly! He got angry at her saying he wasn't trying. He wasn't angry at her saying the truth, because it was. He had been giving excuses before, only to avoid the beating that he would get otherwise. "Of COURSE I'm not trying! Why would I try?! I don't want to hurt people and I don't want to be in this group! How have you not gotten it through your head yet that me being forced into this group, against my will, will not produce the "results" that you want?! The ONLY reason I've been b****ing about this is because I know you're going to beat me! Why would I tell you the ****ing truth? Because I like being hurt? You are crazy!"He had yelled that, though he had backed away. Even if he was yelling at someone that he thought deserved it, even he didn't want to invade their personal space while doing so. Whatever happened now, whether it be a beating or even death with no chance of "reincarnation" he was ready for it. Admitting to being against all of this felt good. Even if it was the wrong person to say it to. Nuxaz I hope that's not too horrible of a post!

"I suggest you lower your voice," Stellerite said, warning in her tone as she worked to keep her patience.
Making the woman break whatever facade she chose to put on was difficult but the man was getting dangerously close to it and it wouldn't be pleasant for him if he did.
"You don't have to hurt people to get results." She had never truly forced anyone to give her anything, not when it came to quotas. She had let her temper get the better of her a few times, taking what she deemed as hers, which he had been because he said he'd join and tried to back out when it came time to pony up.
"I have never laid a hand on you or any of my subordinates." Others might have chosen force to keep people in line, but she was a woman who knew that you caught more bees with honey and that flattery and cohesion worked over threats of violence. Physical aggression wasn't something Stellerite cared for.
She had Epi for that, any of her loyal senshi. The agents she could get wrapped around her finger.
Getting her hands dirty wasn't something she needed to do, but it seemed like Geocronite was going to force her. Her smile was terse, her demeanor shifting ever so slightly. "I suggest you rethink the way you talk and how you're viewing things or someone will help you."
She didn't have the tools to do it herself, yet, but she could. She would, she just needed to find the right person to spill the right amount of information.
"Get your act together and watch your mouth," she gave him one final warning, "don't think that your behavior won't have consequences, for more than just yourself."
With that, Stellerite teleported away.

Geocronite could only glower at the woman. What came out of her mouth may be partial truths, but in the end it all led to something evil. Something he didn't even want to try or help in any way. Not if it meant hurting others. And he didn't mean beating them up. Not that he would ever be able to get victims like she did. And he knew that she was up to something. She wouldn't be keeping him if she could do something with him. Otherwise, why not take his starseed? He didn't respond as she teleported away, though he had no idea about who else that she could be talking about in terms of his behavior. He had no one that could be hurt around him, or at least, no one that he cared about. He had lost contact with his family a while ago, on purpose, and didn't really have friends. But it... bothered him. And he couldn't help but sigh and rub his head when she was gone. There was going to be more after this, wasn't there?
