Leto found it easy to deal with her Court- she thrived as a Senshi when she got to help them and work for and with them. But as Quinn? Quinn hated every bit of responsibility that came along with being a Royal Dark Mirror Senshi. Not because she didn’t like them; It was just that being Quinn felt so… Uncomfortable. It was becoming too easy to forget what it was like being a ‘regular’ civilian. So much so that it took her a few days to work up to visiting Romulus in the hospital after she had left her in capable hands.

But she was there now and that’s what mattered, she reassured herself as she took a breath before knocking softly on the door.

“Can I come in?,” she asked before doing exactly that without waiting for a response.

It occurred to her that the other girl may not have the slightest clue who she was as she walked into the room. Leto had powered down when she arrived at the hospital but Romulus was so injured at the time that she wasn’t sure she’d even remember it or her.

“Ah, my name’s Quinn by the way.. I was um, the one that brought you here,” she added, hoping that she could put two and two together.

When Quinn swallowed, it was as if she had a handful of rocks lodged in her throat. She stared for a moment that was probably too long, really studying the rough shape that the other girl was in. She watched as her facial expression changed to one of an overwhelming understanding of who she was, and she glanced down at the hand that reached for her.

Hot tears pricked at red eyes, her bottom lip slipping between her teeth nervously. She had been through a lot herself, she had seen her fair share of injuries... But this, this hurt her in a completely different way.

It was almost too much for her to handle and she almost turned and walked right back out of the room. Steadying herself, she took a breath and smiled sadly at her, moving to take her hand and sit gingerly at her side. Her thumb gently stroked the top of Cassie's hand.

"Don't," she said quietly, shaking her head. "You have nothing to thank me for, really."
