Hobbies:
Baking: Since leaving his childhood home behind, Jacob has become rather kind of sort of self reliant. He found that baking was a task that turned a necessary thing like making food into something that he truly enjoys, and at least four times a week he finds himself baking something, even if it’s just a batch of cookies. Though he doesn’t like to admit that he bakes...but it is quite possibly the most favorite of all the things he does.

DIY: It’s more fun to do things yourself, and Jacob has become a great Do-It-Yourself master, or at least in his mind he has. Almost all of the furniture has been bought from Ikea and put together in the apartment...the first few having brung more than a few head scratches as he worked to figure them out, but since then he has enjoyed making things and fixing things. Painting and repainting his walls, finding stupid little projects online and doing them. It’s turned his empty apartment into a real home and he wouldn’t trade his hobbies for the world.


Quilting: Quilting was not something that Jacob had ever planned on doing, but there was a coupon for a free quilting class in the newspaper once. The gimmick seemed to have worked, because after the first free course, he began to attend regularly and now has made a total of three quilts, in varying degrees of sizes and even boasts his own sewing room to get the job done. There is just something relaxing about patching together different fabrics into different designs and watching them come to life...and something comforting about sleeping under something warm that you created.

Virtues:
Sturdy: Jacob likes to fancy himself as the kind of guy who is there for you if you need him. He does his best to be the rock in the middle of a flood, or the lighthouse in the middle of a stormy sea, and he doesn’t waffle or waiver if things get rough. He will be there through thick or thin, no matter what. If you are one of those people who matter enough to warrent such feelings from him.

Empathetic: Jacob has never had an issue understanding people’s feelings, and he thinks that such a skill makes him a pretty swell human being. Especially in times like these, where respecting and knowing the feelings of others is slowly turning into a dying art. He works hard to make sure he uses this power for the good of all...mostly to make sure that he doesn’t come off as too much of a massive d**k. And in his line of work, sometimes his resolve is heavily tested.


Flaws:
Flighty: Sometimes Jacob has a hard time focusing on things for long periods. Often he will show a great interest in something or someone, but then that interest will taper to nothing and as quickly as he liked the person or thing, the feelings will have vanished. It is a rare thing when Jacob finds something that can hold his attention for long periods, but when he does, it is difficult for him to be drawn away from it.

Persnickety: Jacob has always liked things his way. He is picky about his food and about his style of dress and his living situations. A person can only take so much of things feeling wrong before they leave, and the list of things that can feel wrong is so damn long for Jacob, he has simply decided that the only thing to do is live alone. Forever. It's so much easier that way and things can be kept where they need to be. And heaven help you if you try to change anything.

All in all, JJ's civ side looks pretty kosher, with the exception of the last name 'Bloom' which is already in play. Kapoodles confirmed that you've got the okay to use the last name, but if you could add that somewhere to your quest before Kyu comes through with the final stamp,that would be fantastic!

For the powered side of things, Alpersite is available as a mineral and the weapon progression works out! Everything there should be good to go as long as your artist follows the design rules for the CC uniform.
