The double doors to the reception area are pushed open a few seconds later, and there is a clicking sound as a pair of heels appears, followed by a set of long legs and a beautiful woman in a doctor's lab coat and what appears to be an unreasonably unprofessional outfit underneath. She grins widely as she strides up to the nearest person.
"Hellooooo," she trills, and without warning, slams a a four inch heel into the top of Brodie's foot. "The doctor is in!"

The nurse has 50 HP.
You are STILL CIVILIANS; if you try to power up, it will be too obvious as to who your identities are, as you are in an enclosed room. If you are a Negaverse agent, you might be suspicious that this is, in fact, a Negaverse agent as well - but unfortunately, it's difficult to convey your allegiance when there is no way to power up, and you can't guarantee it IS a Negaverse agent.
You may use anything in the room to fight your opponent; chairs, fire extinguisher, clipboards, whatever logically can be found in a hospital waiting room.
Please post the personal damage your character has done at the top of your post as well as the cumulative total damage.Quote: BOSS AUTO DAMAGE: -2 This is subtracted from total HP every time you ATTACK the nurse.
ATTACK STATS:
Civilian - 15HP / 1d6-1 (a 0 is a miss) Lieutenant / Basics - 20 HP / 1d8-2 attack (a 0 is a miss) Captain / Super / Mauvian - 30 HP / 1d10-2 attack (a 0 is a miss) General / Eternal / Mauvian Sailor - 40 HP / 1d12-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
Sylent Nyte Brodie takes an additional -5 dmg! Once the boss has been defeated, you will be able to leave the room. Please QUOTE ME when you have finished!

Finally! Someone was here! Moving he nearly tripped as he went to see who this doctor was, he did after all have someone attached to his leg. When he made it free of the female, and her tight hold on his leg, he was able to see that this doctor certainly didn't look like one. Something was off - very off. No doctor would be dressed like that...or stomping on someones foot as it looked like she was doing.
Backtracking, several steps, he headed for a corner area so he at least had a wall to his back and nothing could grab him from behind. At least he hoped nothing could come up behind him that way. This really wasn't what he wanted to deal with, not after least years event. Hospitals were not something he liked. That's another reason he came to a small clinic - it wasn't a hospital. But it seemed medical facilities might be something for him to avoid...for good.
Maybe he was a bit nervous, maybe a lot, maybe he even wanted a plushie or someone to hold onto but he didn't have that ability right now. Ignoring how he'd started to pace a bit while tugging at the long sleeves of his shirt. His foot hurt, he had cut his big toe open pretty good, so he was limping a bit as he paced about his small corner. While he tugged at his clothing he shook his head. This wasn't right and he was expecting like crystals to shoot out of the doctors skin soon - any moment. That's what happened last year.

Noah Starly Damage: 3 Hp: 18/20
Noah didn't want to get seperated from her uncle, even as she clutched to his hand to make sure that they wouldn't. It was hard not to when the lights shut off earlier and then blinked on with a lady in a doctors outfit.
Clearly she was Hurst type of Doctor, up until heels dug in the mans foot.
"Hurst." The small girl reached again for her uncles hand and threw a magazine at the doctor. "Don't you dare go towards her!"

Ian Bach: 13/15 Boss Damage Done: 4 Boss HP: 46
He still couldn't believe he'd gotten separated from the others, Dessie was going to flip out on him later. He knew she would. But more importantly he couldn't believe the doctor who came in, she was not dressed like a doctor under that coat, but he was also surprised by what she did to someone. It wasn't that big of a deal, stomping on someones foot, only this was a doctor and Ian presumed that person needed help...not a foot stomping.
Seeing only one person do something was a surprise, because clearly this wasn't a doctor, people should be getting that message loud and clear and doing something! Right?
Reaching out he grabbed a recently abandoned chair, he'd seen the dark haired male that had vacated it, and threw it right at the doctor. He wasn't normally one for such things but right now he needed to be, Dessie wasn't here and no one else seemed to be doing anything.
"I think we need to address this doctor - who clearly isn't a doctor..." He stated, speaking up for everyone to hear.

Xi-Wang HP: 13/15 Boss Damage Done: 1 Boss HP: 45
Flinching as the chair he'd previously been sitting in became a projectile weapon, aimed right for the doctor, Xi-Wang turned his dark eyes from one figure to the other. Well, something had to be done and he supposed someone had decided to do something. But should he help? Could he? This was a female and they hadn't done anything wrong yet...well not really...right? But they would, he was sure of it. Too much was wrong with all of this.
Biting down on his bottom lip, fighting with himself, the teen finally moved slowly across the waiting area. What he went to get was a large, heavy, copy of vogue magazine. He didn't want to use a chair, for several reasons, but the magazine he grabbed and holding it in both hands he made his approach and hit the doctor with it across the face. He didn't throw it...he held onto it as he hit them.
"I agree...b-but if we could avoid this I'd like to...but I don't think we can..." And there came the guilt in his voice, lots of it. He knew it was what was needed but he didn't like it, he didn't like hitting people. But he knew this was going to go bad and soon...so best to act now and help others...others who were doing nothing.

Tom Wolf HP: 13 Boss Damage: 0 Boss HP: 45 Tom had been waiting for something to happen in the reception area after waiting in the unlit room. He could tell from looking outside the window that it was the only building that didn't have power as of right now. It was either a breaker or... it was October, and while that meant that chaos seemed to be at an all-time high in the month, he couldn't exactly blame it on an agent. These might be caused by rogue youma. It had happened before. He wouldn't be surprised if it happened again.
When the nurse came in, Tom thought that she would be telling them about possibly fixing the power outage, until she slammed her foot on someone else's. No, the nurse definitely wasn't here to help them. Unfortunately Tom wasn't able to do much with only one hand, except try to hide and throw one of the magazine holders at her, which missed.

Xi-Wang's attempts at fighting make the nurse laugh, a tinkling, grating sound that makes her blonde hair ripple down her back. She beams at them all, but a sound from down the hallway makes her whip her head around, peering out from the door she's just come in from.
DOCTOR HP: 12; she is distracted, it is the best time now to fight.

Xi-Wang HP: 12/15 Boss Damage Done: 3 Boss HP: 9
Still holding that magazine, and not liking beind laughed at, he once more raised it and smacked the nurse with it across the head with it, the back of the head now. "She's not looking - we need to finish her." She spoke up, hoping to get others motivated to do something! Anything. He didn't like this, this reminded him too much of that hospital. He couldn't handle a repeat of that...and they needed to handle this doctor so they could leave, so he could get home. He could get home and hide in his bed and not come out of his room for a while, perhaps days, maybe he'd call his father or his half sister and see how they were. yes, that was a good idea.
The book swung he waited to see what would happen, hoping to do some damage. For once he wanted to hurt someone, or was it a something, and he was ok with it right now. Because panic was setting in and he couldn't handle it.

Ian Bach: 12/15 Boss Damage Done: 3 Boss HP: 6
Not wanting to go for a chair again, it really wasn't worth doing the same expected thing, so Ian this time decided on the one thing he had at hand that he could throw at the doctor. He took out his cell phone and threw it, screw it. He could get a new one, maybe, when they got out of this. Dessie would yell at him...Xander or Lily would get him a new phone...and he might get scolded by the others...maybe not. But it was something to throw right now and he hoped it would work, he wasn't exactly known for his aim. But she was distracted, by what he didn't know and he was fairly sure he didn't want to know.

Richard Bell HP: 13/15 Damage Dealt: 5 Boss HP: 1 Richard had been distracted from replying to Ignacio and Raina when the doors opened and a nurse walked in. In fact, that was jarring enough that he just sort of stopped and stared at her, not comprehending for a moment. That was to say nothing of the outfit she wore under the lab coat, or the four-inch heels that had to be frankly precarious on the hospital floors. Then there was that trill that came from her lips when-- Oh. It was going to be like that, then. As his mind processed that the shoddily dressed nurse had attacked one of the other people there, Richard's body was already in motion to grab the nearest thing he could. That ended up being one of the waiting room chairs, and he was glad in the back of his mind that they weren't bolted down. His phone clattered to the floor, the flashlight facing upward and throwing the nearby surroundings into stark relief. Richard's hands were already around the arms of a nearby chair. His legs were already taking advantage of their length to step around Ignacio and Raina as his hands brought that chair along for the ride. He noted other people throwing things, chairs and magazine racks and magazines, and noted the way she laughed it off. He couldn't charge her at a full tilt--there were too many people in the room for that, and the chair was not exactly convenient to carry. Nor was it light. But he did speed up as much as he could to try and get some momentum behind what he was about to try to do. He didn't hear whatever it was the "nurse" heard, but he did surge forward when he saw her turn her head. If she was distracted, he was going to try to use that to the best of his ability. Richard's grip tightened on the chair as he pulled it higher from the ground, twisting his body mid-stride in anticipation. He still couldn't run full-tilt at her, and his ability to fully wind up with the chair was hampered both by its weight and the amount of people in the room. He didn't want to hit anyone else, after all. That being said, Richard put everything he could into the sideways swing of outright bashing her with the chair. He didn't know if she saw him at the last minute or what--he was too focused on hitting her--but he did feel a searing pain in the shoulder closer to her just as he completed the swing. It was enough to make his breath catch, and he stumbled away from her as immediately as possible. Richard was absolutely, positively, one-hundred percent completely, totally, wholly done with this bullshit. He didn't bother waiting to see if she went--or stayed--down, immediately turning himself back around for where Ignacio and Raina had been left. His breathing was a little fast when he reached them. "We need to figure out a way to get you medical care somewhere else," he addressed Raina first. If they stayed there, she was likely to need more medical care than the concussion. "I don't know how we're getting out of here, but we're getting out of here." Seiana_ZIx Since Richard decided to grab a chair and have a go at her instead of staying back with Ignacio and Raina.

The doctor gives a snarl of anger - but a few seconds later, his eyes roll back into his head, and he falls down and moves no more.
A small, gold key rolls from his coat pocket out onto the floor.

You may now leave the room. Please have ONE person pick up the key and go here.

Tom WolfAs much as Tom hated to admit it, he was pretty useless when it came to fighting as a civilian, especially when his dominant hand was currently out of commission and he refused to push it farther and damage it permanently. He needed it for many things such as medical school, drawing, etc. and he was not about to go and lose the use of his hand to some weirdo doctor who decided that attacking the patients by stomping on their feet was a good idea. But then again, this probably wasn’t a real place, or it was some planned place where they were going to steal energy and/or starseeds from the “patients” and then of course the news never covering it, even if it wasn’t some Negaverse plot.
And so like a coward, Tom had kept himself away from the fight, unable to really do anything while just protecting his arm and making sure that the first-aid wraps were still tight enough and that he hadn’t bled through. There seemed to be a few others who had joined in the fight and the doctor so far didn’t show any magical powers, so it was easy enough for the others to fight her. They used a book and a cell phone, which Tom hoped would be okay afterwards, and even a chair! Something Tom wouldn’t have been able to lift in his “condition”.
After the chair though, the doctor went down, and something clinked on the floor, though Tom couldn’t tell what it was until he was able to bring out his cell phone, walk toward the doctor’s prone body, and use the flashlight on it and when he finally found it saw that it was some sort of small key. Since he hadn’t participated in the fight though, he didn’t feel as though he deserved to have it. He looked around the room and said, “Anyone want to take it? Hopefully it will get us out of here.” He said, taking a step back to turn his phone off to conserve it’s power. And well, he didn’t want to be the first one out in case the key led them to some danger room or something.

Hurst" Wow, Noah." Came Hurst's dry reply, despite the cluster ******** of a situation he realized they were now in. "I'm not Sergei. I actually have standards." Also, apparently someone was feeling better if she had enough energy to sass. For the most part, Hurst had no qualms about staying out of the fight since the others seemed to handle it well enough. He had his niece to look out for, after all. When the demon went down, the man kept the young girl close to him as he moved towards the key. So that off feeling he had earlier...it had been valid. Great. Just his luck to end up...well. Well. His number one concern was getting Noah out of here. Keys meant a way out, and since staying here wasn't an option, it was only logical to move forward. Carefully, of course. Hurst bent and swiped the key. "No need to trouble yourself, my good sir." Came his airy reply to Tom. "I'll do the honors with my sick niece in tow." Brodie: HP 10/15
When he heard the familiar sound of high heels clicking on the tiled floor, Brodie finally looked up from the light of his phone he hadn't realized he was staring at. He shifted the flashlight so it was pointed directly at her. His eyebrows raised so high they practically went right off of his face as he took in the tall drink of water that was approaching the group.
And then she slammed her heel into his foot and quite frankly? He was so drunk and she was so hot Brodie that didn't even care.
"Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn," he slurred as he pushed himself onto his (throbbing, very painful) feet and gave her his very best 'sup girl' face (he failed - it was more of a sloppy grin with eyes half-lidded, not at all sexy).
When everyone started attacking her, Brodie actually wanted to protect the hot doctor nurse lady- thankfully he was too inebriated to do so and mostly just stumbled around in the way flailing dumbly and/or flexing. Her tinkly laugh made him all warm and tingly inside and it almost broke his heart to see her laying on the floor in a heap.
A few seconds later someone announced that they were taking a key and Brodie completely forgot about the woman he had just decided he was madly in love with. He went to follow the crowd of people moving through the door as it occurred to him that he should make sure Raleigh was okay- but unfortunately he had dropped and lost his phone at some point during the whole ordeal.
