The Corruption is as visible here as it is in Tanzaku Forest, the trees appear ancient and aged, large structures existing both in death and life. A Swamp-like area with deep black murky water that seemingly consumed nearly every part of this Forest. The sky is still in a constant state of night, but there seems to be some sunlight peeking through every now and then. Strange black vines can be seen moving around this area, usually ensnaring the trees or swimming through the swampy waters.

Hiruki perched herself on the branch of the many decayed trees that surrounding Hanguri Path, this was once a path that led to Hanguri Gulf and Keishi was only Southwest from their current location. Hiruki turned her head to face the location in which they had left from, an hour worth of walking led them here, but that was just with casual movement at best... Still, this was the location where the information she had overheard came from, somewhere in this spot was their target Demon.
"... It's here somewhere, stay close and don't spread out too much."
They could've spread out to cover more ground, but doing so would add more risk seeing how they, at least she, was unsure what exactly they were searching for and those strange black vines weren't entirely making her feel as safe as she wanted to. Regardless, Hiruki stood up straight as she observed the surrounding area carefully, checking the murky water, trees, from base to top with the best of her visual capabilities.

Momoshiki&Hinamori Fumihiko The twins were perched on trees on either side of Hiruki. “Oi oi, sensei” Momo groaned looking around the swamp. Hina rolled her eyes and she stood up on her own tree branch. Cradling what looked like a sword wrapped in white wrappings. “Complaining already?” Hina asked as she scanned around the swamp. “Yeah; majority of the ground is gone....I may be able to punch through a stone wall or even a bears stomach...but...” Momo started but groaned as he hopped down and landed on a small chunk of earth. Now poking at the swampy water with a stick. “Scared the water will make your brute strength as useless as your ninjitsu?” Hina teased her brother giggling a bit. “I’ll pull out your spine” Momo glared towards his sister huffing. Momo was already feeling useless right now. Momo started to shift and adjust his gauntlets. These gauntlets were different than before. Clear tie craftsmanship was much better. The design was more intriguing and foreign looking. “Sensei?” Momo asked looking back up to Hiruki. The both of them stayed close to Hiruki as instructed.

Hiruki glanced at Momoshiki as he steadily poked at the murky water, the complaints about being unable to properly fight in such a swampy environment due to a lack of proper land to occupied was sound but not entirely. She knew well enough that a fight can be performed in nearly any environment, a limitation was only a mindset if anything.
"Hah, you have a lot to learn if you can't fight in this area... I might have to bring you here for training then."
Hiruki responded with a smirk, the interaction between the Twins were indeed an amazing and heartwarming sight, in a sense it had reminded her of the time she had back in Lor. Despite their professions, their objective, everyone there had felt like family in a sense and even their superior tended to treat them as such.... Yet it wasn't as perfect as she had wanted it to be, things simply lead to another and here she was now.
Black vines continued to move around, unconcerned about the presence of the individuals who had entered its land. They continuously wrapped around the trees, but it did seem that they were coming from beneath the ground or beneath the swampy water. With each Tree that was unfortunately ensnared, strange blacken mushrooms would slowly but visibly grow from the surface of each Tree bark once the vines had removed themselves, slowly sinking back into the ground and reappearing somewhere else.
Was this their target? A bunch of vines that spread Corruption throughout the decaying forest life? She couldn't spot a single Demon with the exclusion of those vines that she wanted to classify as one, but were they just a byproduct or their own individual species?

Momoshiki&Hinamori Fumihiko The twins were glaring at one another. More so mono was glaring and hina was sticking her tongue out at him. Momo’s face turned blank and looked around. “Brother, can you at least try and see what we’re dealing with?” Hina asked tilting her head as she started to study the black vines and the slowly growing mushrooms. “....I’ll try...” Momo said huffing. Momo looked around as he kicked off his shinobi sandals one at a time. Momo rolled his ankles and wiggled his toes as they were free of the shoes and free on the small piece of earth he stood on. The young Fumihiko sighed as he lazily looked around. Clocking his teeth in annoyance he walked along the small earth path. Not wondering too far out. “If anyone has an affinity for the earth, it’s my brother” Hina said looking back over to Hiruki. Momo stopped walking as he groaned I’m annoyance. Momo crashed his fist into a nearby tree. Blowing a hole straight though it. Causing the tree to slightly slant over. A crushing and crashing sound echoing through the swamp. “I can’t see or feel a damn thing!” Momo yelled back to Hiruki and his sister. Turning around and walking back to them. “It’s all fuzzy and wet and....” Momo stopped talking as he came to see his sister glaring at him. “Must you punch everything?” Hina asked rolling his eyes. “I don’t like not being able to see or feel the earth...there’s something more than the swamp that’s disconnecting me...it feels malicious...hungry” Momo described to them. His feet were already getting covered in mud and sticks. Hina looked over to Hiruki. “Well?” Anything?” She asked sighing as she was starting to feed off her brothers annoyance.

A loud crack of bark and the decaying tree being shifted by force, the murky water shifted slightly. Hiruki's eyes focused on where Momoshiki was, the impact was rather loud within this quiet location and reverberated quite annoyingly.
“I can’t see or feel a damn thing!”
A small wave of water went by, behind Hiruki and Hinamori for a brief moment, a brief instant in time that was slightly non-existent.
“It’s all fuzzy and wet and....”
It slowly emerged from the far right side of Momoshiki, its coloration shifting and matching with its surrounding to the point it camouflaged with its environment. The stranger amongst the swamp hadn't assaulted yet, instead, it watched in silence.
“I don’t like not being able to see or feel the earth...there’s something more than the swamp that’s disconnecting me...it feels malici―”
In that moment, whatever was stalking them had decided to attack rapidly. Thick dull-grey vines erupted from a massive splash of swampy-water, five of them rushed towards Momoshiki from the front, right, left, above and two meters below ground. The same came for Hinamori and Hiruki, the tree they occupied seemingly being sliced and half as the large tree rapidly tilted over and started to fall into the swampy water.
"Dodge!"
Was the only thing Hiruki had managed to say as a sudden surprise attack erupted from Momoshikki's location and directly in front of Hiruki and Hinamori.

"] Momoshiki&Hinamori Fumihiko Just as Momo and Hina were awaiting for Hiruki’s command; Momo felt a tingle shoot up from his feet and through his body. Something was shifting and moving. That’s when Hiruki’s command to dodge awakened Momo. He was instantly grinning. Twirling her covered sword; Hina leaped upward. Skillfully maneuvering between the vines. Momo crouched down and kicked backwards. Flying backwards into a handstand position. From their he pushed off the ground and rocketed into the sky. His fist already cocked back and ready to unleash. “Momo! Hold! We don’t know what we’re dealing with!” Hina commanded as she was perched on another branch. Sticking close to Hiruki. Due to Momo’s previous position and evasion tactic he was somewhat separated from the two. No longer grinning but now scowling Momo slightly lowered his guard. Fully exposing his gauntlets and shin guards. Their intrigut designs glowing from the chakra that was being built into them. “Then give me a plan, brainiac!” Momo shouted. The twins were scanning the area. “I think it has a form of camouflage” hina shouted out for him and Hiruki to hear. Hina tugged on the wrapping on her sword. Removing the wrapping and revealing an elegant blade. It’s own unique patterns glowing from the chakra it’s weilder infused. “We’re all ears; what’s the plan!” Hina asked looking to Hiruki.

Hiruki's leg skidded against the swamp causing a slight wave of water to follow in front of her before she came to a full stop, down on one knee with her right hand pressed on the surface of the deep murky water. So, whatever they were dealing with could hide and assault from different angles, Hinamori informed of some camouflage type of Special Ability. The real question was how many were they potentially dealing with? One? Two? Was she meant to identify each individual vines to correspond with individual Demos?
Hiruki's eyes squinted through the mess that became the Swamp, the splashing water and collapsing tree did display a small feat of physical strength behind those gray-toned vines. Still, Hiruki barely had the chance to figure out the situation provided to her that clearly. More gray vines erupted from the swamp, the same quantity as before sought after the airborne Momoshiki but this time spread out for each individual limb and neck. Their assault was timed, each Vine assault precisely a split second after the other, their potential succession seeking to ensnare Momoshiki before hurling him through several trees towards the right.
"Figure out the strength and how many there are, stick to high grounds!"
Hiruki leaped out from the swamp surface and straight towards the tree branches. Immediately she started bouncing between branches and branches, the onslaught of vines continued not only her but for Hinamori as well, a nigh-infinite supply of vines was aiming for them at rapid succession.

] Momoshiki&Hinamori Fumihiko Momo huffed as he was airborne again. More and more of these vines soared through the swamp. Taking their takes on the squad. Just as Momo was leaping again a vine looped around and leg and arm. “Hey!” Momo huffed as he was grabbed and swung to the right. “Ahhhhh...oooommmffff” Momo grumbled as he crashed into a tree. The tree toppling over. Luckily landed on a much more massive piece of earth. As Hina evaded the vines aimed for her; she used to sword to propel the vines. She wasn’t cutting them but pushing them away like a river would push leaves and debri away. Hina was squinting as she was leaping and evading. “Hiruki...I think I see something” Hina said as she twirled around a tree trunk and leapt higher. Hina sat on a tree branch staring towards the murky waters. “At least you’re able too!” Momo’s voice echoed. Momo pushed the tree trunk that collapsed onto him off and hopped up. Crouching down and surging chakra into his legs and feet. Momo kicked off the ground now rocketing into the tree tops. Landing on a tree branch just above Hina. “Talk to us” Momo grumbled. “Look; there” Hina said pointing to the origins of the vines. “They’re rather close...but considerably distant” Hina said pointing. “So?” Momo asked tilting his head. “Stupid, theres more than one...maybe. Possibly two?” Hina hypothesized. “Jump!” Momo called out. Causing the two to leap higher into the trees. Momo swung around the trees like a monkey. Momo snapped off a massive chunk of the tree. “HERE!!” Momo grunted as he rocketed the piece of tree towards the origins of the vines. Hoping to hit the whatever was using these vines.

Creature emerged out from the murky water mere moments before the chunk of decay bark reached him. While it hadn't avoided the assault, the chunk of bark ended up ripping off a chunk of its leathery grey and deformed flesh. It seemed as if the same grey and muddy chunk of muscle and flesh erupted from the point of impact at the head, black goo squirting out from the wound as the Creature's body stumbled back a few inches, destabilized as the grey vines that surrounded ceased their movement.
Hiruki landed on a tree branch five meters on the Creatures left side, she was rather surprised that the Creature that was assaulting them was just a lone deformed humanoid. Its body was horribly mutilated, large section of its body was missing and exposed the inner muscles and blacken/grey organs, black fluids seeping through. The Creature had no specific facial features such as eyes or nose, its mouth, and other facial feature seemed to have melted or merged with its grey skin.
The large chunk of body mass missing from the previous assault seemingly quickly healed over as the murky water rippled slightly. The vines that had emerged due to its attack quickly reverted back into the murky water, the rushing movements filled the air as the "appendages" returned in high numbers.
"....Keep your guard up, looks like it's going to fight us head on this time."Hiruki proclaimed towards the Twins. She wasn't entirely sure what to expect with Demons outside of Keishi, but this one was a first. ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆

] Momoshiki&Hinamori Fumihiko The Twins flickered stepped to be on either side of Hiruki. Hina made a face of disgust. “Gross....” Hina said as they looked at the creature regenerate so rapidly. “Understood!” The twins called out as they heard Hiruki’s command. “Brother; I have an idea; I need you to bulk up” Hina said tossing her sword into the air. Now performing a few hand seals. Momo grinned as he slammed his fist together. Feeling his chakra surge throughout his body. “Gimme some even ground, sister” Momo chuckled in amusement. ”Katon: Endan” Hina casted as she finished her hand seals. Her sword charged with fire; Hina inhaled heavily as Momo crouched down. As Hina exhaled Momo was charging right behind the exhaled fireball. The fireball was more aimed towards the muddy and swampy ground. The intense heat drying the ground up; giving Momo an easier time to rush for the demon. Momo grinned as the fireball disappeared. His fist rocketing for the demons chest. Hina caught her sword and kept watching. “Hiruki; if you guys can break its body down; I can use my fire jutsu to sear it’s wounds shut. It might help it not regenerate so quickly” Hina said as she looked back to her brother. Momo was sending swift and heavy hooks and jabs at the demon. “This thing is gross!” Momo said as he dodged a vine and the flying mud from the mud. Hina huffed to her brothers complaining. Holding up a handseal again; Hina exhaled another fireball toward the demon this time. Momo felt the sudden change in temperature and leaped upward in the nick of time. The fireball inches away from the demon. “YOU COULDVE WARNED ME!” Momo yelled back to his sister. Clenching his fist and focusing his chakra into it. Momo thrusted his first forward. Attempting to crash down on the demons head through his sisters fire ball with his fist.

Creature grunted as the fireball rushed towards the murky water, multiple grey vines erupted from the water in high numbers, immediately swarming around themselves and seemingly morphing into a large head with dragon-like resemblance. Its head opening and allowing the fireball and Momoshiki if he had continued with his acceleration to enter its orifice. Had Momoshiki entered, the boy's limbs would be ensnared by grey vines tightly squeezing at him from around the wrist, ankle, and neck with a tight almost ironclad-like hold.
"....He's reckless."
Hiruki commented as the head immediately sunk into the murky water, bringing Momoshiki down with him if applicable. Yet it wasn't the end for him, the Fumihiko would only vanish for a brief moment before being seemingly spat out from within the murky water straight towards his sibling like a high-velocity projectile, either impacting her or missing and impacting through more of the decayed trees.
"Sc......Sc......Sca.....Sca....."
Creature's body jittered and twitched slightly. The already opened and deformed skin starting to regain some form of coloring, slight yet present, its open wounds twitching and display a slight sense of....Life.

Momoshiki&Hinamori Fumihiko Momoshiki raised his hands as he was swallowed by the creature. “.....hhhajass” Momo grumbled as he was drug under water. Hina flinched as she stopped herself from jumping into action. She needed a plan. Momo was a great swimmer so if it came down to it he would break free and swim away. That’s what Hina was thinking. That is until Momo was rocketed back out of the water. Hina quickly leaped to the side; evading her blitzing brother. “Hhhhhaaaaahg....” Momo grunted and groaned as he crashed through more decaying trees and into a solid tree. The tree toppling over onto him. Hina looked to Hiruki and then back to the creature. “He’s got a thick skull; I’ve seen him headbutt a boulder and break it; but still” Hina said brandishing her sword upward. “I could crank out fire all day...but it would be pointless with all this water and the speed of the vines” Hina said looking around. “Hiruki...” Hina said a bit worried as she was getting antsy. “Momoshiki this is no time for a nap!” Hina yelled back for her brother. Momo was under the tree collecting his thoughts. What the heck was that?! Those vines are as strong as steel how could he beat that? Momoshiki thought to himself. Hearing his sisters yelling; Momoshiki opened his eyes in a glare. Grunting as he lifted the heavy tree up so he could stand. “I DONT SEE YOU CRASHING INTO A TREE AS IT FALLS ON YOU” Momoshiki shouted as he dropped the tree only to flicker step back to Hiruki and his sister. “Don’t let the vines grab hold; it’s like being grabbed by metal bars” Momo said massaging his wrists from the vines hold. “Sister have a plan yet?” Momo asked glaring. Momo didn’t like his sisters silence. “Well s**t....if you’re this silent; sensei?” Momoshiki said keeping his eyes on the creature. “This is way different than fighting bandits and wild animals...” Momo commented in shock.

Hiruki glared at the Demon ahead and the surrounding area, those grey vines and the ones from earlier, the method it had used to assault and defend itself and the numbers that Hinamori had commented upon. Were they dealing with a single target or two targets with a sort of symbiotic relationship? Hiruki's eyes drifted from the Demon and back to Momoshiki and Hinamori, at least by their side, neither of them were in true actual danger with an official.
"...Observation, perceptiveness, a clear mind. The wall that stands in front of you has a door that's hidden and the key is your experience."
As Hiruki spoke, the Demon grunted once more as it moved forward through the murky water. The grey vines rising through the water, rising and sinking like large sea-serpents moving within the thick liquid below. Demon body jerked and continued to pulse after dealing with that previous Fire Technique, the energy circulating throughout its body causing slight altercation that was miniature but present.

] Momoshiki&Hinamori Fumihiko Momoshiki and Hinamori kept their eyes on the creature. Listening closely to Hiruki’s words. Momo gave a small tsk. Hina simply blinked as her mind was racing. “As long as it’s in the water we can reach it; or hurt it” Momoshiki said cracking his knuckles. “Possibly a duo with this many vines..” Hinamori spoke out after. Their minds turning gears as they spoke. “It’s well concealed and defended with the water..” Hina added more to their thoughts. “It’s vines have a density like steel...” Momo huffed as he was getting a headache. “Brother; do you think you could pull it out the water?” Hina asked as she noticed the creature was getting antsy. “Maybe...when it swallowed me I didn’t see another but I did see it had two legs” Momo said as he started to grin. “The vines flow and pump like veins...IT COMES!” Hina shouted as the creature took to the water. The twins rescued themselves then. “Gather as many veins as you can...” Hina said holding up a handseal again. Inhaling lots of air as she readied her chakra. “Yeah yeah...I’ll pull it up to fair ground; sensei help me gather as many veins I’ll do all the heavy lifting! Bring them to me!” Momo shouted. “Fire style; Fire ball!” Hina exhaled the massive fire ball towards the rushing creature. It wasn’t for damage. It was mainly to get the creatures to raise its vines to defend and then follow with an attack. Momo readied himself then. Circulating his chakra through his muscles and body. His eyes bright with chakra as he was getting ready to forcefully yank the creature out the water. Hina leaped to the side this time. As she leaped she exhaled another fireball to only the front of the creature but to the side of it as well.
