Personality: On the surface, Alexandra seems like your charismatic, extroverted, and go-with-the-flow kind of person. However, in reality, she's actually very self-conscious- Especially about her art.
History:
Alexandra has had a bit of a rough start. Her birth parents were a mermaid mother and a presumably human union. However, Alexandra does not know the full story of her birth parents, and it's likely her 'human' father isn't human at all.
As a very young child, Alexandra was put up for adoption and taken in by a loving family of mermaids. She stood out a little, since her new family including her sister Rina all had green hair. Other than that, she fit in well with her family for the majority of her childhood.
When she was 15, Alex found out the kingdom she lived in was hosting a program for mermaids to visit the human world. Most of them would end up in France. Around that time, her parents told her that she was adopted and that she was actually only a half-mermaid. Still Alexandra was glad to call them family, but she was anxious to find out her other half.
When she washed ashore, Alexandra was met by a human couple with the last name of Rosalene. They dreamed of having a child, and gladly took her in. Over time, Alexandra learned about the human world and took a job at a nearby restaurant as a waitress. With the money she made, Alex was able to get herself a decent home and lives a relatively calm life. However, after three years of staying in the same place, she yearns for adventure.
Weaknesses: Alexandra is a bit quirky and can come off as a bit pushy even though she means well. Her self-esteem isn't the best, either..
Strengths: Alexandra is a skilled artist (even if she denies it) and cook. Overall, she's also very patient and understanding. She also has the magical ability to bend/manipulate water.
