Please introduce yourselves and tell us about you. You're welcome to share your current art goals here and what your art influences are, too.
My name is Angelique, and I get geeky about a lot of things - including the art and science of studying art. I hope to share my little discoveries with you all so that we may all benefit from each other and help each other grow as artists. Progress in skill and vision is very important to me and I enjoy pushing myself to the next level. Right now, I'm focusing on expressive watercolour, pencil & ink portraits.

My name is Lizzy, but anyone can call me Candle if they prefer??
I'm a fan of drawing digitally and traditionally, video games, anime/ manga, plants, cute things, animals, and fashion.
I love a lot of things, so this is a condensed list, but I tried!
I don't have a lot of confidence, so I hope to just build up my mental fortitude when it comes to my art.
I hope we can all help each other out and have fun drawing!!

Hello! My name is Tylar.
I'm currently in college studying to meet a future goal of possibly doing animations with aquatic animals so people can understand the different life patterns and know the warning signs of when the animal is going to be aggressive. I would also like to eventually be able to draw figures because I have so many ocs I would like to be able to bring justice too. Just improving my artistic side is more or less what I would like to accomplish.
One of my friends is one of my biggest art influences as well as motivation to reach a small fraction of how good their art is in my eyes.
I love to meet new people, and hope we can all become friends!

gaia_moon Hey there I'm Nina ^ -^ I work with acrylic paint on wood pannels as well as Pixel Art but I love to try other mediums too. I focus on themes that I find aesthetically captivating, these being anything that showcases iridescence, outer space and / or water. I'm facinated with the otherworldly paintings of Gilbert Williams and the fantastical detailed worlds of Josephine Wall. I want to use my paintings to fashion a sort of autobiography for myself in an effort to discover my artistic identity. It's nice to have other artists to talk to as well yum_puddi

I'm Sarah.
I'm currently a graduate assistant from California.
Lately, I've been experiencing anxiety, so I'm trying to get back into my hobbies of creating art (written poetry/short stories, drawings [pen, markers, colored pencil], painting [acrylic], and chalk pastels).
I used to draw random people's avatars on gaia wayyyyyyyyy back, but I'm looking to branch out and get some new skills.

Hey, everybody. My name is Anna. I've been drawing since the age of 4, and actually have a degree in Fine Arts as well as one in Graphic Design. I specialize in both digital and traditional mediums, with a larger focus on colored pencil, ink, and digital illustration. My long-term goals as an artist include continuous improvement, especially after a three year hiatus of trying to get my life back on track, and finding my niche.
Despite having two degrees, I unfortunately have not been able to use them in the job market and I would like to build a professional portfolio as well as find an audience that appreciates my work. I have tried freelancing once before, but due to the circumstances of my life at the time, it did not pan out.
Because my current job is so stressful, despite paying the bills, but my life has improved enough to where I can focus on the things I used to love, I have taken to doing artwork now as a means of stress relief. At some point, though, when I feel comfortable, I would like to make a good of it again professionally.

Hi! You can call me Rukus. Right now, I mainly draw character art or sketchbook pages with pencil, pen, and marker, but I'm hoping to learn landscapes so I can, y'know, actually put my characters somewhere instead of having them float nebulously in a white void. I also sometimes do abstract stuff, but I don't even know what it would be called beyond that. (The abstract stuff is more for my own catharsis than anything.) Most of my inspiration comes from manga. Kazuya Minekura has one of my favorite styles, and I like CLAMP's line work too. My main goal would be to better capture the scenes that are already in my mind, and maybe one day draw them into a comic. (I'm a writer first and foremost, so the characters already have their stories. It would be cool to have an alternative way to share those stories besides just words.) Anyway, I hope to improve regardless of where my focus is. :3 (You can find my art on twitter and patreon.)

hay peeps, its ja boi canttel. just call me canttel this is an old a** acc. ive been drawing since i was very small, probably since kindergarten. im studying art rn.
i do digital artworks, sometimes traditional but mostly digital. i got inspired from anime. ...i mean come on i think we all have. but western cartoons also pushed me to be different from the rest, especially the more older one from cartoon network like PPG, Billy and Mandy, Samurai Jack, and ect.
i have too many goals in art but my main one is to be able to draw anything and everything perfectly and precisely.
right now im working on two comics and also working on my insta page.
