Guidelines: You don't have to follow these to the letter, but doing so will give you the best results in terms of your artistic improvement.
1. Choose an artwork you admire. 2. Do a value study 3. Do a colour study 4. Complete a master study 5. Complete another master study of the same work, but this time draw it flipped upside down or horizontally. 6. Recreate it from memory 7. Create an original artwork inspired by the study you did, making what you've learned truly your own. 8. Post it here + write a note of things that you've learned. 9. Repeat with a different artwork from the same artist you admire or a different artist. Be careful of focusing too much on just one artist or your work might become a watered-down version of that artist.
