Jet is incapable of creating anything exceeding half a square mile. The density of her constructs can vary, they can be as fragile as a thin sheet of glass, to as dense as steel.

Character Description
Looks: Jet is a 4'10" woman weighing at 100 lbs. Her physique is a small hourglass, which she keeps hidden behind military attire. Her skin is a tad darker than other members of her family, mostly because she tans very easily. There does not seem to be any blemishes on her skin with the exception of a faint blush that frequently dusts her cheeks. Her hair is notably long, as it cascades down to her upper thighs with tips that comically flick upwards. She has a fringe covering one eye, that is because her hair is too thick to be held back with clips or hair ties; Jet simply gave up messing with her hair. Her key features are her ears and tail, which are bushy and black with tips of snow white. When she is anxious, her ears will perk up and her tail will fluff-up.
Personality: At first glance, Jet is a quiet, shy and socially-awkward woman who wouldn't hurt a fly. Those assumptions are not entirely wrong. Jet is actually a kind-hearted woman who, in the midst of her depression and loneliness from years of bullying, went down an evil path in a desire to be "noticed and respected." It seems that she cannot even achieve her own goals without difficulty, as she is terribly shy, particularly towards strangers. Being the middle child who dropped out of school due to pregnancy, Jet feels invisible compared to her renown and more successful siblings (whether they are acknowledged in a good or bad light). Unfortunately, she is incapable of voicing her feelings, as she is constantly reminded of her insecurities whenever she talks- She speaks notably slow (A condition she has had since youth), which makes people assume that she is "stupid" or "slow." As a matter of fact, Jet is extremely intelligent, perhaps a prodigy. Since she is incapable of fixing her woes with her words, she will use her actions instead.

Jolly "Jet" Burakkudaria was born on a Christmas Day in the kingdom of Atlas. During this time, Jet's parents wanted to combine their personal and professional lives in order to increase the success rate of their experiments. While this move did not benefit the family, it certainly played a role in the 'golden age' of her parents' work. If their parents had treated their children like their bunsen burners, then maybe things would have been different. Jet could only remember her family being chaotic: A convict brother, siblings who underwent experimentation by a mentally-ill father, and a mother who grew more neurotic by the day.
Her personal life was no better. Since she was old enough to talk, Jet had trouble forming words together at a normal speed. Her parents initially mistook her slow and slurred speech as shyness, maybe even selective mutism. This assumption was questioned when Jet did not grow out of her unnatural speech pattern. After being diagnosed with a condition that was not selective mutism, Jet began to notice small changes in her life. These changes evolved into full-blown inconveniences, not because of the condition itself, but people's reactions to it. Jet was constantly reduced to the negative stereotypes of her particular condition: Children outside the family would mock her, adults would approach her as if she were "slow." Jet was frustrated because she knew she wasn't "slow." She was capable of learning things quickly, it was the outside world she did not understand. She wished that people would see beyond her differences.
Despite the constant pandemonium that Jet had inherited from her bloodline as well as the ridicule she constantly faced from her peers, the young faunus had found solace in two things: Her brothers and her tech. From a young age, Jet had a panache for technology. Every Christmas/birthday present was devoted to the latest tech. Jet would spend her days in the local dump where she would peruse through potential robotic parts. She memorized different tech and mechanical jargon, and she could recite entire pages from her father's books on machinery. Jet began to assist her father with his experiments, primarily working as his 'little mechanic.' Unfortunately, Jet was left with menial tasks: Unraveling wires, pulling levers, etc. Upon realizing that she was of little use to her father's work, Jet went on a hiatus. She resisted the urge to tinker with anything that had wires in it. During this time, Jet spent most of her time with her older brothers, Yuki and Yoru. The two boys never treated Jet like a idiot because of her speech impediment or different thought process, they always made the effort to make her feel special. To this day, Jet loves her brothers dearly, she would never do a thing to hurt them.
However, the boys grew up and attended Beacon Academy, leaving Jet with her parents. Jet's father became especially critical of his daughter, who was already being bullied by the kids in her city. Her father would hire tutor after tutor for Jet, but each tutor came out fruitless. Due to her deliberate inability to speak, Jet struggled in her homeschooling and had nearly failed if it weren't for her mother taking the reigns as her at-home teacher. This greatly disappointed her father, who would speak ill of his daughter behind her back. In fact, Jet once heard her father say: "I think she will be stuck living with us forever, our Jet is terribly slow... Where did we go wrong?" Jet had never felt so alone, she had never felt so much like a failure. A few times, Jet had considered running away, or worse. Fortunately, Jet was too fearful of death and would stop herself from doing anything reckless. She would begin to write letters to her brothers, venting her frustrations and doodling adorable characters on the margins of her paper. She'd also send the most mundane items to them: Notes she wrote on her personal technological innovations, miniature robot figures and loose bolts she'd find in her father's laboratory.
The family moved to Vacou, where Jet's parents would have their last child: Coral. Jet will never admit to it, but she believes her parents had Coral to make up for their last "mistake." Regardless, Jet loved her little sister dearly. To this day, Jet cannot help but smile whenever she thinks of her adorable sister. It was refreshing having another girl in the house: Jet would do her sister's hair, read books to the girl before she could even talk and on rare occasions she would sing to her. Many times, Jet's mother would tell Jet to let her sister be, but it was so difficult to get the girl away from her baby sister. Thanks to Coral, Jet got back into inventing. Her first invention was a music box that changed color, it wasn't as successful, but Coral didn't seem to care. She loved the gift regardless, which made Jet all the more happy.

He made sure to emphasize how she had big shoes to fill. Jet was a tad discouraged, but the support she had from her sister and mother was strong enough to get Jet packing and off to Vale. Jet left Coral with a books on software developing as parting gifts, and set out to Beacon Academy.

To be fair, Granny's reaction was justified: Not only was Jet pregnant at sixteen, but she took so long to tell her. Jet fumbled over who the father was, but gave into Granny's stare and spilled the beans. Honestly, Jet thought Granny was going to put Rudolf over the knee for knocking up her grandchild.
It was Jet's decision to drop out of school, there was no way getting around the pregnancy without everyone knowing. Course work required a lot of physical work, the stress wouldn't be healthy for Jet or her unborn child. I am like a tumor that will only spread and cause more pain. People like me do not deserve to find happiness, I have held you back with my pregnancy,my stupidity and most importantly: The natural anguish that comes with knowing me. Now that Rudolf is near graduation to becoming a full hunter, I can say with confidence that I am leaving my dear Brona with people who will truly care for her. I'm sorry Granny, I'm so sorry. Jet had accidentally knocked the woman's head onto a rock. Despite the hours of CPR she spent to revive the woman, it was hopeless: Jet had accidentally killed another person. One could argue that since it was out of self defense, an accidental one at that, that she would not face prosecution. Regardless, this caused Jet to mentally crumble. In a fit of despair, Jet had unleashed her new and unexplained powers, creating a field of icicles that pierced through whatever was in its path.
Jet buried the woman in the snow and placed a ice flower on her make-shift grave. She set out to decipher what her new powers could be, not quite knowing she had become the Winter Maiden. After much research on her powers as well as evidence she picked off from the dead body of the woman, Jet had discovered the origins of her power and soon grew fearful of the pain she could further cause. From that day on, Jet settled in Atlas within the basement of a run-down weapons manufacturing factory. She gathered spare parts that she found lying around the factory and made weapons out of them. She is currently making ends meets as a black hat hacker, stealing information from weapon manufacturing firms from all four kingdoms to use them for her machinery. She made something of an empire in her "Metal cave." She also has been developing blueprints for weapons of mass destruction for any possible clients who would want them. She can't remember the last time she spoke to another person minus her daughter, who she once in a while visits in the dead of night. Her daughter made a pact to not tell anyone of her visits, not even Rudolf, her Great Granny or her Uncles.
She heard news of Rubrum's escape, but is not surprised. From what her brothers told her about Rubrum, he was a genius. Jet assumes that Coral is being a diligent little bundle of sunshine at Beacon. Jet began to spend time with her new friends, her grades began to climb and her happiness had been recharged.
Over time, Jet and Rudolf had grown very close, and eventually became lovers. Jet wanted to marry this man, she wanted to live happily with her "Prince," she even wanted to have his children one day. Unfortunately, the last wish came too soon. At age sixteen, Jet became pregnant with Rudolf's child. It took the girl a while two weeks before telling Rudolf and it took her an entire month before she told her grandmother. To be fair, Granny's reaction was justified: Not only was Jet pregnant at sixteen, but she took so long to tell her. Jet fumbled over who the father was, but gave into Granny's stare and spilled the beans. Honestly, Jet thought Granny was going to put Rudolf over the knee for knocking up her grandchild.
It was Jet's decision to drop out of school, there was no way getting around the pregnancy without everyone knowing. Course work required a lot of physical work, the stress wouldn't be healthy for Jet or her unborn child. Ophelia was told that Jet was simply "too sick" to continue her studies, and was immediately removed from school. Unable to approach her father and admit to him that he was right or break her mother's heart and shatter all hopes she had for her, Jet decided to live with her grandmother in silence. Rudolf would visit every day and tend to whatever Jet needed done, he was so kind about it and handled the situation as loving as possible. Months would pass and Jet had given birth to a healthy baby girl. Jet was unable to go back to school, as she could not bear to face any questions from her peers.
She raised her child along with Rudolf and her grandmother's support. For four years, Jet would try to be the best mother she could. Unfortunately, the stress had gotten to the young woman she she had fallen into a pit of depression. Even with the support of her family and then-boyfriend, she still felt like a failure: Exactly what her father had wanted. Without warning, twenty year old Jet left her life behind in the dark of night. All she left behind was a note for her grandmother:
Granny,
I resent putting you through my mess. Since I came to Beacon Academy, you have been nothing but supportive and loving towards someone who did not deserve such hospitality. When I told you I was pregnant, you did everything in your power to provide for me and Brona. I cannot begin to thank you enough for everything, but we both know that my presence will only cause you, Rudolf and Brona more inconvenience. I am like a tumor that will only spread and cause more pain. People like me do not deserve to find happiness, I have held you back with my pregnancy,my stupidity and most importantly: The natural anguish that comes with knowing me. Now that Rudolf is near graduation to becoming a full hunter, I can say with confidence that I am leaving my dear Brona with people who will truly care for her. I'm sorry Granny, I'm so sorry. Please don't think I don't love you, I love you and everyone else more than you could understand. I love you so much that I will rip you away from the very thing holding you back: Me. Please don't look for me, I hope that one day we can meet again. Until then, please make sure Rudolf takes good care of our child. Please tell him and my baby girl that I love them very much.

On the margins of the note, she drew a picture of a small robot, the same robot she'd draw on all of her letters.
Jet traveled from kingdom to kingdom in search of her purpose on this world. She made a deal with herself: If she could not find her lifelong purpose by Christmas, her birthday, she would simply end it all to prevent further pain. On her travels, she met a spiteful woman with skin like snow and hair like wool. Said woman was haughty and hateful, she had no kind bone in her body and was utterly condescending. Unable to defend herself, Jet simply walked away, but the woman would not have it. The woman smacked Jet across the cheek and called her a "Stupid stupid little girl!" This had angered Jet, who had attacked the woman in return. An altercation had ensued in the snowy forests, an altercation that resulted in red snow. Jet had accidentally knocked the woman's head onto a rock. Despite the hours of CPR she spent to revive the woman, it was hopeless: Jet had accidentally killed another person. One could argue that since it was out of self defense, an accidental one at that, that she would not face prosecution. Regardless, this caused Jet to mentally crumble. In a fit of despair, Jet had unleashed her new and unexplained powers, creating a field of icicles that pierced through whatever was in its path.
Jet buried the woman in the snow and placed a ice flower on her make-shift grave. She set out to decipher what her new powers could be, not quite knowing she had become the Winter Maiden. After much research on her powers as well as evidence she picked off from the dead body of the woman, Jet had discovered the origins of her power and soon grew fearful of the pain she could further cause. From that day on, Jet settled in Atlas within the basement of a run-down weapons manufacturing factory. She gathered spare parts that she found lying around the factory and made weapons out of them. She is currently making ends meets as a black hat hacker, stealing information from weapon manufacturing firms from all four kingdoms to use them for her machinery. She made something of an empire in her "Metal cave." She also has been developing blueprints for weapons of mass destruction for any possible clients who would want them. She can't remember the last time she spoke to another person minus her daughter, who she once in a while visits in the dead of night. Her daughter made a pact to not tell anyone of her visits, not even Rudolf, her Great Granny or her Uncles.
She heard news of Rubrum's escape, but is not surprised. From what her brothers told her about Rubrum, he was a genius. Jet assumes that Coral is being a diligent little bundle of sunshine at Beacon. As for her brothers, Jet learned from Brona that they were co-deans of Beacon, which she is very proud of. Rudolf also became a teacher, according to Brona as well, that was great news. Granny is doing well, so that was nice too! It seems that minus Rubrum, everyone is doing very well: Yet Jet is here, collecting dust amongst her machines... Maybe she will have a reason to go back home. She doesn't even know about her parents, about Coral's insanity, about the twin's alcoholism. She is completely blinded by assumption. If she found out the true nature of her family...
