If she were being entirely honest with herself, she was awful at being a Magical Girl. After the events of Christmas she'd dedicated more time to cleansing her house and attending to the needs of her own aura than she had to any other nocturnal activities. It seemed to work... She thought. She hoped. The school year had come to an end, summer came and went, and now things were starting anew. It was the beginning of senior year... Seanior Year. This was the year that would make all of the difference in how she proceeded with the rest of her life. This was the year that memories were supposed to be made in. "You're not going to make memories just sitting around inside babysitting your house for spooks," she muttered to herself, snatching her henshin pen out of her purse before darting out the front door. Ellenore Blackwall made it a few blocks away from her house before ducking into the shadows to power up. Once she'd pulled on the guise of Sailor Abstracta she followed the knight, wandering wherever the shadows would take her in search of something-- answers? Adventure? Life.

It was getting far too close to the anniversary of all of the…the things. Kelly’s relationship with her parents was still strained and tense, and though she was acting happier, when she was alone the masks fell and she really wasn’t. And the closer it got to the time that she was with her Queen, and with her best friend…the more unhappy she got.
She hadn’t powered up since she had spoken to that one guy…Elsa was his name? It didn’t matter. She had said she was done with this stuff. The stuff that lost her everything. This stupid nonsense that just…
Quietly, Kelly glanced down at the henshin pen that was in her hand. For once…it was almost…tempting to just power up and…maybe she could…lose herself for a few hours. Perhaps she could even learn to like it again. Or at the very least…not hate it so much.
Hell. Maybe she’d run into Lovejoy.
For a moment, tears welled up in her eyes, and as the teenager drew in a breath and changed from normal civilian to an abnormal abomination, she wiped them away.
She couldn’t cry. If she kept crying, she’d end up shriveling up like some nasty dehydrated pepper, and that was not who or what she wanted to be right now.
The first thing she noticed when she was again Sailor Kibirev, was that there was someone close by. She could feel them. And it was strange…but she found herself going over, moving towards them and her eyes landed on the other Dark Mirror, she blinked, seeing hair that matched hers…though it was longer.
Not that her own hair wasn’t growing. It was down to her mid back now, and she was grateful for that. She missed her hair.
Swallowing hard, she raised a hand and took a few steps closer to the other senshi. “Um…hi!”
There. That was good enough.
At least this girl wasn’t familiar…so she wouldn’t know that Kibirev was mostly against the others…or at least…she hoped that would be the case.

"Hi?" Sailor Abstracta parroted back as she looked to the other young woman. It was strange, seeing someone with such delicate features and hair so similar to her own but different. It caught her off-guard and she stepped back upon that realization, slightly startled. "Just when I thought that things couldn't get weirder..." She was talking mostly to herself, but this close it wasn't as though the other young woman wouldn't hear her. "You're like me, aren't you? Not just... The hair, or the color. Mirror Senshi?" She was missing so much information on all of this. She'd gotten a bit the night she'd awakened, Bea had told her some as well, but then she'd just hidden away and hadn't tried and that was no way to be. "What are you doing out so late tonight?"

Kibirev frowned just slightly at her words, a wave of suddenly hurt feelings washing over her. She wasn’t…weird…
“I mean…yeah. I’m a Dark Mirror Senshi, I guess…why?” She crossed her arms over her chest, trying to figure out how to not be weird. It…it was an awful feeling and suddenly she didn’t want to be there. Didn’t want to be anywhere.
“I…I’m Kibirev. And I don’t know why I’m out…I’m kind of wishing that I hadn’t bothered…I’ve never…I mean…I…”
She shook her head and looked away. “Never mind. I just…thought I’d maybe try to be productive for once…” She would never be accepted by these people though. Never be welcomed in this court. This stupid, awful group of people that honestly hated each other…
“I’ll go…Sorry for being too weird for you…” She turned and frantically searched for the glint of a mirror. They were pretty much everywhere…so why could she not find one when she needed one desperately?

"People come out for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes they don't make sense, sometimes they do. Usually, from my experience, it all happens for a reason." Abstracta lifted her shoulders in a shrug and then let them fall back down with a soft sigh. The idle expression was followed by one of minor irritation and slight confusion as the other young woman started making apologies and attempting a hasty exit by way of... Well, Abstracta wasn't really sure what she was frantically looking for because she didn't think there was anything nearby that could just whisk someone away from being an odd duck. It had never really worked for her so at some point she'd just decided to own it. Weird was part of who she was, just as much as it was part of the people that she was friends with, to the point where it was normal. "If you don't want to chat that's fine, all you have to do is say so. Not everyone likes to be asked questions, and I prattle off a lot of them. I hope you find whatever it is you're looking for, though."

Kibirev nodded, though she looked dreadfully unhappy. “…Yeah…me too.”
She hesitated and then sighed, shoulders slumping. “Me too. I’ll…see you around, I guess.” There. There was the glinting surface of the mirror she had been looking for. “…Take care. If you um. If you don’t know the court well then I guess…you don’t really…I mean.”
This senshi might have been there…but she couldn’t quite remember. It had been a while ago.
“I’m Kibirev…if you ever want to hang out or something…I’m sorry. I just…I’m sorry…”
And she slipped through the mirror.
…Perhaps she wasn’t really as ready to make friends as she had thought she was…but maybe…
Maybe next time would be better. Perhaps.

Abstracta watched the other young woman disappear, lips pressed together in a frown. She didn't understand people on most days. Complications and feels weren't really her bag. She was more into the mystic and the adventure, 'too young' to want to be overburdened by anything else. She'd remember the name Kibirev, though -- the strange, sad girl with hair like hers -- and maybe if they ever met again it would be on better terms.
