Order signatures were tricky. They could be knights, and sometimes he could sense them. Sometimes they just appeared and he just couldn't sense too much what was going on, but as he got closer, he yawned before noticing - yup. It was a senshi. If he had been more awake, he might have paid more attention then turning in their direction.
Now it was just awkward that he was about a block away and decided maybe to just steer himself away. Well, maybe it was someone he used to punch before and he could prod them a bit. Reunions.
Walking that way, he headed down the street and into a small park to notice the white uniform and lots of red. It was not someone he knew before, and the signature was not that of a Eternal senshi. Too new. Too young to the war.
"You spot any officers out tonight?" Maybe he could at least get a lead on any DMC sightings from them.

Ananke turned around... oh was that a crow perched on her arm eating something out of her hand... looks like it. She blinked at the newcomer a few times and then tilted her head. "Hmmm... I don't think I've seen any police tonight. Not that I checked because you are not supposed to feed the birds..." She said slowly squinting her eyes. She's such a bad girl feeding the birds. "Why are you looking for one? Are you lost? I understand that... I get lost all the time." MoonKitsune ...I would like to apologize for everything... but I'm not really sorry

He stared at her. He stared at the bird.
He let what she said sink in and how she missed the question.
"Negaverse officers." He corrected as if he cared about the cops. "Or members of Chaos." Since he wondered if she would know what DMC even meant.
"Crows eat dead things. You really want that thing on you."

"Oh, Negaverse people... well why didn't you say so. Hmmm, nope can't say I've seen anyone up to no good tonight." With her free hand, she scratched her hand. "Course I've been advised to never approach one alone! So I don't go looking." Then with a squawking noise, the crow flapped off Ananke's arm and she tilted her head. "What? Of course, I know Miranda eat dead animals... its the circle of life. But ever since I took care of her while she had a bad wing she's come to visit me every once and a while!" "If I was afraid of the things animals get into I wouldn't currently be banned from bringing any more strays home!" With a puker of her lips, she decided to go back to the original question at hand. "Why do you want to know about chaos people... your not trying to find them by yourself are you?"

He could only stare back with a souring expression.
"Yes I am. That is the point. Fight. War. The reason you have a uniform or did the cats decide they needed a bird feeder."
He was gueasing she never fought. "You know if you are being advised by someone not to go after an agent that person must think you are a waste as a fighter or they are also missing the point if what a war is."
He looked her up and down. "I want to say both."

Ananke just smiled and laughed. "That's probably true my powers don't have that many offensive abilities. Since I have to use them from a distance away I'm not good at hand to hand combat." She had a far-off look in her eyes. "But fighting is the point huh... It might be because I'm not a fighter but I don't really view it like that. Because I'm Ananke Senshi of Portals my abilities are more for protection." Putting on hands on her hips her fiery hair bounced. "We don't all have the same roles to play and if yours is to just fight then that's fine... but even if your a big strong knight you shouldn't go after Negaverse agents by yourself! You never know what if an energy you followed was a trap! They can sense you too you know!" Ananke then puffed her cheek. "You can call me all the mean names you want! Now that I know you're going after bad guys by yourself I'll worry about you forever... FOR-EV-ER!!"

"I have always fought this way and I'm not about to force someone to hold my hand when I go out for patrols. And I'm not going after the Negaverse as much as I'm going after the Dark Mirror Court. I hate them more." He said, and then frowned soured more as she decided on her own accord to just worry about him for no reason at all.
"And if they sense me then good. Saves me the energy of walking all the way over to them. And don't worry. Ugh. No. It's gross coming from a senshi. You're probably going to die any day now. At least I know how to handle myself. You're just fresh meat to the slaughter out here."
She had a long range ability she felt was only for protection and yet she wasn't with anyone to protect. So it was just a temporary way to escape.
"What do your portals even do? Show me." He said, deciding if he had to suffer through a conversation with her he should see what her powers actually were. Then he could leave.

"Nope! Gonna worry about you forever especially since your so sharp-tongued." Ananke said matter of factly like this was obvious. "Well if I die then I'll have to figure out who will feed Miranda... and all the kitties I've been taking care of." Putting a finger to her chin she frowned. "Show you my portals? I mean I could but manipulating space is not really... interesting to look at..." Nodding she tilted her head. "It easier to describe..." Crossing her arms she frowned. "Portals are the manipulation of time and space... I sense very similar powers in any teleporting but my powers are on a much smaller scale... As long as it's in view I can change an attack's direction. Couse, it doesn't work every kind of attack... its gotta have some sort of form and transporting living things are a no go."

And it annoyed him.
As she explained, he just slowly blinked at her before sighing. "Alright. I'm going to throw my weapon at you. Direct it with a portal." If what he understood from her little science story was right, that's how it worked.
He lifted his hand and a golden chain formed in it. At the end was a large golden wolf head with emerald gemstone eyes and a snarling expression.
Grabbing the chain in both hands, he started to spin the wolf's head as he stepped back for some distance. "If you don't, well, this will hurt."

Ananke blinked once and then twice andddd then a third time as she stared at the weapon that appeared. "Wait, what?" Then she saw him spinning the weapon around. "Oh... you're serious." With a wave of her hands, she panicked shortly before shouting her attack. "Ananke Portal!"

He had eaited till she called out and threw the large golden head at her. "Heads up!" He said, tossing said dog head at her face.
He was waiting for the portal and was prepared to jump away from his own weapon. He just wondered if she could aim with it.
Stump_Fairy You can write what it does to his weapon amd if it is directed back at him. He would jump out of the way if she tossed it back at him and then try and pull his weapon back from the portal to return to him.

Nervousness gripped Ananke as the weapon flew into her portal with a dart of her eyes she sensed she had opened another portal on instinct... above his head. Nervously she flicked her wrist and the weapon flew into another portal just above his head. Just as Ananke was about to let out a sigh of relief she then saw the weapon fly out of the first portal she had opened hurling it straight back at him. MoonKitsune Now we're having fun with portals.

He had expected the attack from the side, back, or front, but was caught off guard for directly above. If he was less experienced, he would have gotten a concussion from his weapon hitting him straight down. Instead, a flash of surprise came befofe he lunged to the side, landing on his hands and knees as the heavy dog's head slammed into the ground and kicked up pebbled and dirt.
Considering what angle she could attack from, above was cheeky. Unlike other attacks where you had to run and keep high gave your enemy some time to predict and prepare, this gave you only a few seconds to react.
Getting up, he pulled his weapon and was amazed to see it leave one portal and exit back from the first. He caught the large golden hesd in both arms and looker back. "Not bad. Does it do magical attacks too? Falling debris?"

Ananke tilted her head. "Yes and yes! I've used my abilities to help other senshi and knights from falling rocks and more... direct magical attacks." Letting out a deep breath. "But I'm not able to do much though... there are a lot of youma that just straight up attack me and there are some enemies who have abilities that I can't do anything about..." Ananke smiled.

Getting up, he desummoned his weapon and walked over, brushing off dust from his sleeves and side.
"You could use your attack during every battle to damage anyone else with their attacks. I'd say it's a pretty good way to surprise them and knock them out. You could do a lot if you aim it right and right over their head is a good place if they aren't moving around. If they are, then you'd have to predict where they are going. Could make for a good trap if you lure them to the right spot." He pointed out before stopping a few feet from her.
"You sell yourself short."
