Personality: Sans is laid back, often sleeping on the job and taking breaks. His laziness is a combination of fatalism and apathy. He wonders if his indolence stems from his knowledge that any progress he makes will be worthless due to the tides of time. Conversely, he suggests that this knowledge could be "a poor excuse for being lazy." Though Sans is usually agreeable, he becomes eerily serious at particular moments. He is also observant; Sans reads people's expressions and can often tell their intent when they speak. He enjoys making bad puns and doesn't care if his 'audience' laughs or not. He enjoys science fiction and loves to put ketchup on everything, even ice cream. He also hates making promises. Sans has a heavy affinity for the healing arts, though he prefers to keep out of combat.
Biography: Sans doesn't really care much about his history since it's already passed. Just like his state of living. From what he remembers he was doing research for Vegapunk at some point and was just a simplistic chore boy since he was in his 20's with no desire to advance. At his consistent laziness on the time he was away from others he was often yelled at and mocked, but he didn't mind, he had a lot of knowledge that the Marine's found valuable at the time. Some didn't appreciate such a thing and well that's when he sorta got back stabbed by the lot. Luckily one of Vegapunk's more.....scarce apprentices was around and since she was hardly known they didn't pay much attention to her. He got killed right in front of her and within moments he was brought back to life, no stitches no nothing, he was basically revived on the spot with the exception of how white he now was due to his blood loss. He retained all his memory, but he hardly cared about his past and used his 'dead self' as an excuse to once again not partake in work. The scientist girl continuously checks in on him to check out how he has been advancing as a living test subject. Every time she asks him how he is doing he replies, "I ain't dead yet...oh wait, nah I'm immortal." which she tends to roll her eyes at. This happened a good ninety or so years ago so he is significantly old, the girl has since passed on and her apprentice now checks on him, soon another one will continue the research.
