■ QUIET Growing up with two career driven parents left her to her own devices for most of the time. Her sister was much more extroverted which suited her just fine. Once she went to school she slowly crawled her way out her shell and while she enjoys the company of others she considers friend, she's still likely to do so silently.
■ INQUISITIVE She loves to find out how things work or how things interact or blend with one another. It's why she loves her job so much. There's always so much more to learn.
■ MATURE Eira's always been told she acts older than she is, which could be attributed to her silence. Or her vocabulary. Also her hobbies didn't seem to fit in with her age group which used to embarrass her when she was younger but as she's grown and gotten more friends she's learned to be comfortable with herself.
■ SMART It's not that she's more intelligent than the average person, she just happens to process and retain what she reads at a faster rate. It helps greatly with her research and for anything that captures her interest.
■ COMPOSED It's rare to see Eira being loud or gregarious but she's gotten much better about it in current years. She won't randomly start dancing or singing like some of her friends and sister occasionally, mainly because she wouldn't have any idea where to start. She's been called cold and aloof which hurts a bit but she tries not to let it get to her.
■ DISTRUSTING After a traumatic event in her childhood, Eira was groomed not to be too trusting of anyone she didn't intimately know. This resulted in her having a rather bleak outlook on the world. It brightened when she went off to Hogwarts and made new friends and even a significant other, but after they abruptly broke up with her their last year she can feel a bit of that distrust creeping back.

CHILDHOOD Arthur and Morwenna met at Hogwarts and after a short courtship married and had Eirawen and barely a year later her younger sister Wynne. They run a co-opt business; Morwenna is an architect and her husband is an interior designer. They're a very well known team in the magical and muggle communities and have made a comfortable living for themselves and their children. However this comfortable life lasted for a short while; when Eirawen was barely two years old she was kidnapped and reported missing for three days. Her parents were sick with worry and were ready to do whatever necessary to get her back when she was randomly found abandoned in the Ministry atrium It was never discovered who kidnapped her or why but afterwards both adults were much more restrictive with their daughters and had any babysitters or nannies go through rigorous background checks before attending. Eira doesn't remember the kidnapping but still feels bad for the worry she must've put her parents through so never resisted her parent's rather heavy handing. As long as she had her books and her sister she was happy.

SCHOOL YEARS

FIRST YEAR Eira had to say that Hogwarts truly outlived any expectation she had originally placed upon it from books and word of mouth. It not only was a magnificent structure but the library..beautiful. Also she actually made friends, real friends and not pretend ones who just want her to do their homework. It's different, but rather nice.
SECOND YEAR Eira was happy to see her friend Alice join her at Hogwarts and inevitably in her house of Ravenclaw as well. For the most part her year was rather quiet between studying and joining an actual club.
THIRD YEAR It was a rather quiet year thankfully but Eira was dealing with feelings she'd never encountered before especially when around a certain friend of hers.
FOURTH YEAR Was...enlightening in a sense. She finally figured out her feelings for her friend Alice, which is to say she finally figured out she actually had romantic feelings for her friend. Troublesome. Not the feelings themselves mind, just the fact that it took her so long to recognize them.
FIFTH YEAR Was a whirlwind of activity. Mainly she was studying for her OWL's and designating time for her and Alice, which great news they were now an official couple, but she had been made the leader of the fencing club. And there were a lot more students interested in the art than when she had joined all those years ago. Thankfully her stage fright wasn't as bad as it had been when she was eleven but it was still quite intimidating.
SIXTH YEAR Was rather boring compared to her last but still busy nonetheless. She continued her studies, this time for NEWT's as well as a better management of her fencing club.
SEVENTH YEAR Passed by much too quickly for her liking, especially since it would be her last year to spend completely with Alice. She handed over her reigns for fencing to Savannah Hastings thinking the girl would enjoy it and passed all her NEWT's.

POST GRADUATION After careful deliberation, Eira applied to the Time Chamber as an Unspeakable and can honestly say she doesn't regret her choice. Since Alice was still in her last year of school and her other friends were busy training for her own jobs, she found herself secluding herself back into old habits. It only got worse when after a few months of her thinking their long distance relationship was working, Alice abruptly but kindly informed her that she felt they needed space. While heartbroken, she agreed that maybe they had been moving a tad fast and went along with the split. For a few years she stuck to only her work, her library, and her research barely allowing herself to rise above her waves of work. Her friends and family realized what she was doing wasn't healthy and began to slowly bring her out her haze either surprising her with coffee and lunch dates or day trips to the museum. Eira very steadily brought herself back and has been working very hard not to allow herself to sink again.
