Description: As it sounds, the Hoshigaki have a great deal of chakra to draw from, so much so that they have been called the beasts with no tails. This makes their ability to last in fights far greater than that of the normal ninja, however it grants almost all the Hoshigaki with a sense of superiority and making them more reckless because the overestimation of their own strength.

Description: When a member of the Hoshigaki clan comes in contact with a body of water they begin to regenerate their wounds, one can even regenerate a severed limb if the wound is fresh enough. While in water the Hoshigaki physically becomes stronger and faster, making them insanely hard to fight.

Physical Characteristics: Members of this clan have blue-gray skin, gill like marks all over their body, small pupils
History: Originally starting in the Mist Village, the Hoshigaki Clan started out as a mutation Jutsu. A signature sign in the Mist Village where the sets of teeth were made to look more feral and sharkish, something passed down among many Ninja within the Hidden Village of the Mist. A forbidden jutsu was performed on a couple of ninja, making them more shark like. It soon became a mess, as many ninja within Mist village began to praise the group of ninja who were like this, thus the forbidden jutsu was casted upon their children and instead of being used again, the jutsu was forgotten. Instead, it seemed to go on forever as a gene, instead of an actual jutsu. Because of the Hoshigaki effect within Mist, it soon became a Clan as it spread like a Kekkai Genkai. The Hoshigaki became feared because of their immense physical strength and large chakra pool the can draw from. Comparatively, the Hoshigaki are one of the strongest clans in the Mist village. The Hoshigaki were beautiful in the fight against Mist, but when Mist lost, the leader of the clan at the time took an offer by the newly elected Amekoutei, Ketsueki Phoenix to join them. It was an offer by monsters to monsters, and they agreed. The Hoshigaki Clan is now a rather small but nice amount of members Clan. Although they haven't changed in social standing much, they are no longer praised by the former Mist Ninja, in fact lost that praise rather long ago. Due to the spread of the corruption and the location of the Hoshigaki clan, the majority of clan was cut off from their village and forced to survive alone in the corruption. Few made it back to the village and those who did either died or were horribly changed by the corruption, becoming for more monstrous than they already were. The clan is now spread out and very then, leaving less than 50 members.
Summary: Shark like monsters with massive chakra, often referred to as the tailless beast.
