Selune had seen them at prom, dancing. She had cleverly inquired about it to Quella, and found out that the tealblood and her blueblood were hanging out more too. Quella even went to his hive. Selune tried not to think about it, tried not to let herself get pulled into those negative feelings, but, well... that was not something she was very good at.

Well she couldn't just leave it like that! Selune needed to scout out the place, find out who this Masoal was! She had asked where the tealblood lived, and Quella, of course, gave the info easy. Sweet Quella, she would never even think that Selune would use that information for anything selfish. Well, that was why Quella was Quella, and Selune was Selune. And Selune wanted answers.

The greenblood had a basket of cookies and other baked goods with her. She was still going for her charity project, and this time it was for a noble cause; reuniting lost lusi with their children. Who wouldn't donate to that, right? The greenblood knocked on the treehouse door. "Excuse me! Im selling cookies and baked pastries to raise money for a charity fund to reunite lost lusi with their children."

If ever there was an unannounced knock at Masoal's door, he always assumed it was Emiola. Very few trolls who weren't his moirail visited him out here at all, let alone put forth the effort required to climb to the hive itself. Quella was also a contender, maybe, but Masoal didn't expect her yet the way he did Emiola.

So, it was quite the surprise when he opened the door to the charitable spiel of some greenblood he didn't recognize. There were two things about her that immediately rubbed Masoal the wrong way. First, the whole lost lusi thing only served to remind him of his own mother's absence, a disappearance of her own accord. She wouldn't be back—no amount of cookies or pastries sold would reunite him and it left a sour taste in his mouth.

Second, and perhaps most important, her wings... As soon as Masoal laid eyes on them, an intense cold crept from the base of his spine to his skull, an irrational response he couldn't control. Jolting forward, he grabbed her shoulder and half spun her, then pushed her back to where she'd started.

"A moth?" he hissed, "Who died?" The appearance of a moth could only mean one thing—someone had passed and their spirit was visiting. It couldn't have been Emiola, could it?

Masoal probably looked and sounded a bit crazy, but that was just what happened when he was confronted by one of his many superstitions.

Selune was abruptly grabbed and turned around. She felt like a small toy as the tealblood had absolutely no problem moving her small frame. A few of her pastries scattered to the floor, some even making it all the way down to the forest floor. Selune gave the tealblood a wide-eyed look.

After a few long seconds of silence on her part, She squinted at Masoal. So, he hadn't heard anything she said, and now he was asking weird questions? "Uh," Selune started. Who on Alternia was this person Quella was involved with? "No, i dont think so..." Well... considering Quella, this was what was to be expected. Of course the blueblood would make friends with odd trolls.

"Do, you, um, do you want a cookie? I feel like you could use a cookie." And tea, she thought to herself. He looked like he could use a cookie, tea, and a chair. Probably not the best idea to invite herself inside to make someone tea in their own hive tho.
