Emilia
Emilia hadn't expected their project to go so well, or to end up having someone to hang out with who was into music like Tabitha was! She had discovered pretty quickly the other Grimm had a passion for music, and knew how to shred on a guitar. It was pretty cool, and while Emilia didn't know how to play any instruments she did know how to sing. Plus, she had been quick to introduce Zane to her new friend to help expand her friend circle. Today, they had a few last touch-ups on their science fair project, plus Emilia was stopping by to say hi just to chill.

One thing was for sure, she adored the others siblings. They were all a mixed bunch, the whole lot but they were a nice family.

Tabitha
Tabitha had been lazily lounging in bed texting back and forth with her project partner. She had met the other's girlfriend the other day...and Tabitha had to admit it was a little disappointing to realize the other girl was taken. Tabitha didn't mind if it was a boy or girl she fell for, but she would never get in between what was clearly a happy couple. It did make her sigh, however, how could she not? It wasn't like she hadn't already gotten over it, Tabitha thought it was cool she'd made another friend. So when the other came over less for doing project work, and to just hang out and watch a movie Tabitha was all for that! They would likely be swamped by her siblings, but Tabitha loved the little rugrats so that wasn't so bad.

Hearing the doorbell, she perked up jumping out of bed. Oh!! She'd better hurry and get that. Zooming out of her room she ran towards the front of the large house she shared with her family.

Emilia
Just as Emilia was going to knock again, she thought she could hear something rustling inside. Curious, the Nixie tilted her head as she glanced down at her cell phone, tapping out a quick text to Zane asking about hanging out with her tomorrow for a date to the movies. She knew the other would be chill with it, but she wanted to surprise her by asking first. Smiling as the door suddenly was pulled open, and a winded Tabitha greeted her Emilia smiled brightly. "Hey! You didn't have to run, but thank you for coming to rescue me from outside." She laughed softly, glad she had been careful to moisturize her fins and body like it needed properly least she risked dry, painful flakey scales. It was pretty hot outside, so the welcome of the cool inside was more than enough reason to duck inside.

Tabitha
Tabitha could tell it was still the tail end of summer, the weather was still a bit to warm to really do a whole lot outside, especially when you had a thick furry pelt like she did around her neck. She'd considered shaving it off, but the idea of not having it was sort of weird to her so she had decided against it in the end. Grinning at the other she quietly closed the door, the sound of footsteps upstairs sounded like thundering hammers. They must have been playing tag, or hide and go seek based on the activity level. "Hey, gal. I ended up setting up the presentation board and getting everything glued on. I know we still have to finish up the volcano but since you gave me your half of the research I figured it would be good to get it up and put together." Tabitha grinned as she went to go sit down on her favorite spot in the living room.

Emilia
Emilia was actually surprised, in the beginning she had a horrible feeling she'd have to do most of the work. What ended up happening was far from that, in fact, Emilia realized she'd kind of gotten lucky more so than she'd bargained for. Opening and closing her mouth she looked at the other curiously. "Wow, you are really awesome, I know we talked about it, but that just means we can spend Wednesday busting out that last bit. I'll be busy tomorrow on Tuesday, but if you are free the next day?" Emilia's smile lit up the koi-fish colored nixie's features without question. They still had another week, so even if she couldn't make it on Wednesday, they could figure out another time that worked best for them.

Realizing she'd been going a mile a minute and how tired she felt, Emilia sunk into a seat on the sectional as she leaned back with a sigh of relief. "Phew...Junior year is almost over, I can't believe it." Emilia murmured thoughtfully.

Tabitha
Tabitha glanced at the other as she sunk into her spot, noticing the other seemed tired. Tabitha could relate, she had been burning the candle at both ends of the stick. She had picked up a part-time shift at a cafe to make a little extra even if her parents insisted they were okay, plus keeping up with music practice, spending time with her family and doing extra projects at school to get ready for the fair. Luckily she would have more free time here soon once things quieted down and Junior year finals were over. Her tail swished, flicking at her side as she contemplated the others words. "Hey it's no sweat, you got all the materials together, and it was actually fun to assemble. I am curious...are we going to really make our display explode?" Tabitha raised a brow as she flopped over to reach for the remote, lazily turning a movie on at random.

Emilia
Emilia looked over from the brief attention she'd paid to the flicker of electricity and the picture that had come to life. Looking to the Grimm, Emilia contemplated her words as if she hadn't really gotten that far ahead. Would it make sense, wouldn't it? They were trying to make a real-life simulation..even if it wasn't perfect what was the point of making a science project if you didn't do something flashy? "Hmm..why not, I'll look up some stuff we can play with to get a semi-realistic effect since the real thing would be too dangerous." Emilia laughed at the idea, shaking her head in wonder.

Tabitha
Tabitha snorted realizing what the other meant, yeah right like they were going to find real lava..that would likely end bad and get someone hurt. Rolling her eyes at the others silly laugh, Tabitha stretched out lazily with a happy look on her usually sullen features. "I dunno, I heard they sold lava down the street. Buy one get one free, to good an opportunity to pass up." She teased lightly with a chuckle to match. Rolling onto her side she lazily rests her cheek against her face. After a moment of comfortable silence, Tabitha's eyes flickered over to her friend. "Hey Emilia?" The blue Grimm added quietly.

Emilia
Emilia felt her hand shoot over her mouth, suppressing a snort-like laughter. Emilia was in the middle of laughing at the others ridiculous input. Okay, sure! Some local store selling lava, she wasn't sure why that was funny but it was. Emilia blinked hearing her name suddenly, whatever she'd been about to ask a thought lost in the air between them.

Her head tilted as she sat up, peering over at the Grimm girl. Her look of consideration followed as she pursed her lips thoughtfully. "Yes, Tabitha?" She asked quietly, relaxing back in her space as she looked to the other.

Tabitha
Tabitha lifted her head up, barely able to keep herself from laughing as well. Sure it was a dumb lame joke, but that was all you needed sometimes to lighten one's spirits. Wiping at the corner of her eyes she relaxed as she looked up at the ceiling, although she was still talking with the other, noticeable as her eyes would flicker to the other occasionally. "Thanks for everything. I know we both needed the help out, but I appreciate it. You didn't have to have me meet your lady..or even come over today." She added after a moment. Whatever else Tabitha was going to say was lost to the sound of scampering little feet coming rushing down to find a place to sit and watch tv to be cool like the big kids! Tabitha smiled apologetically to th other, but was glad she didn't seem to mind.
