A wide grin was stretched across her face as she rocked her body side to side, hoping from one button to the other as the music played it's merry tune. She could occasionally glimpse the guy beside her on the other pad depending on how she turned her body but for the most part her eyes were stuck on the arrows moving across the screen since she was determined to not loose as well as to get a personal best with the steps she was taking. On one of the sequences she twirled around, causing her skirt to flare around her legs, hitting all of the buttons on the ground perfectly.
Soon enough though the song came to an end and her grin grew as she looked at the score and say she had met both of her goals, a personal best at DDR and managed to beat the guy who thankfully was taking it well with a low laugh as they both worked on catching their breath. "Well that was certainly a challenge, I'll get you next time!" The guy promised before he was drug off by his girlfriend and friend group. Joanna was left to her own devices again but that was perfectly fine considering what her next plan was.
Straightening out her skirt, the blonde heading back out of the game section of the convention and into the artist alley. The convention that had been planned for this weekend was a small one but being small didn't mean it wasn't a good one still. When she was in artist alley proper, one quick look up at the isle numbers had her heading towards the back, heading down one of the isles, and stopping at a certain booth. "Just in time! I finished your order a few minutes ago." The artist sitting behind the booth said, her voice cheerful as she dug out the carefully set aside paper.
"Oh that looks absolutely perfect!" Joanna beemed when she saw the finished product. There on the page in water color was person standing with fractured glass pieces breaking up the picture. Each little mirror piece showed a hint to a different type of landscape, with one showing space obscuring the person's face and one with the sky was placed over the person's heart. "I'm going to frame this and hang it on my wall as soon as I'm home." She promised as she gathered her commissioned piece, having already paid for it when ordering.
After saying good bye and another thank you to the artist, Joanna walked back out of artist alley while keeping her new treasure safely tucked close to her body to protect it. It was perfect, it worked so well with her other identity, and best of all it was a goal. One day she would end up seeing space and not just an area in the mirror world that she would one day claim as her own when she was strong enough. Until that day though, this picture would be an excellent reminder,
