Mira had a long week at school but at least it was the weekend. She had plans to hang out with her friend Jazzilyn today and she couldn't be more excited. At least it wasn't classes. With a grin, the hybrid cleaned up her and her siblings dorm to make it not only presentable but also comfortable. She set out art supplies then worked on setting up the snacks she had been hording all week for today. Hearing a knock on the door, Mira moved to open it with a large grin. “Hey Jazzilyn!! Are you ready?” She asked as she invited her in.

Jazzilyn had been frantically trying to get all her homework done as fast as she could all week so she'd have time to hang out with Mira. Finally finishing the last piece of homework, she quickly threw on some clothes and took off to her friends dorm. She wondered what movies they were doing to watch while they colored and Drew together. As she approached the door, she knocked. Waiting patiently, she smiled big when the door opened. “Hey Miraaaa! Yeah I'm ready!!!” When bounced as she moved into the room. “Ooo! You have snacks!” She commented as she moved to grab one, eating it.

Mira laughed, “yes, of course I have snacks!” She commented as she finished setting everything up. She then turned on an she appropriate movie and plopped down on her bed, making sure there was room next to her for her goblin friend. She smiled as she pulled her coloring book to her and started using crayons to color in the pictures. “So, jazzi… do you wanna be dorm mates when we are juniors?” She asked, looking to her friend. “I think it'd be a lot of fun!... Unless you get adopted!! Then that would be even more awesome!” She giggled as she colored more.

Jazzilyn grabbed a few snacks to take with her on the bed, moving to a comfortable position as she picked out a coloring book. Smiling as she started to color her book with markers, she hummed a bit. She stopped to look at Mira as she mentioned being dorm mates. “That sounds really fun! Of course I'll be your dorm mate!” She giggled as she looked to the movie. “Nice pick, by the way.” She commented before going back to coloring. She loved watching cartoon movies and drawing! Today was going to be so much fun. She was happy that Mira suggested it.

Mira smiled, “I'm glad you want to be my room mate! If you get adopted, I'll just have to visit you a lot!” She told her. No one would bother adopting her and her siblings, there were three of them. Jazzi was much more likely to get scooped up by a loving family. Sure, the hybrid was a bit envious of that but she was also happy that her friend had a real chance at being loved by a family. “I'm also glad I have good taste in movies!” She smiled again, starting to color her page again.

Jazzilyn looked to Mira with a soft smile, “Okay. You can visit if I can get adopted and I will visit you if you get adopted! Okay?” She said with enthusiasm. It would be awesome if they both got adopted! They could do sleep overs! It'd be nice for Mira too because she has siblings so they'd all get a home! The goblin girl stuck her tongue out the side of her mouth as she concentrated on coloring her picture.she wondered what her future would be like but there was one thing she knew for sure… she'd always be friends with Mira.

Mira laughed a bit, this time it was more sad that anything. “I doubt I'll ever get adopted..” she stared at her picture of a princess being held in the arm by the king. “I have too many siblings, no one will ever want to start a family with three rambunctious kids.” She explained. The thought hurt though. Her siblings were amazing and unique; they deserved a family buy like she said already… no one just goes out and picks three kids to adopt. “But I will definitely come visit and have sleep overs at your house.” She told her with a smile to mask the pain.

Jazzilyn stopped coloring when she heard what Mira said. It hurt her heart that she thought that. “Mira… that's not true. Someone out there is waiting three wonderful and awesome kids to adopt. Don't be so down and hopeless! Things will happen the way they are supposed to!” That sounded encouraging, right? Sure, she'd heard that phrase from a movie but it still sounded good! The goblin girl touched her friends hand with a smile, “it'll be okay.” she told her, “no matter what, you are my friend.”

Mira listened to Jazzilyn tell her to not lose hope. How though? They'd seen other kids get adopted into loving families, including some of jazzi and her friends. Still, she smiled to the goblin. “Thanks, Jazz. I'll try to be more positive instead of… hopeless.” She laughed a bit, leaning in to nuzzle her friend. “And you'll always be my friend.” She smiled big. “So, have you talked to your crush since we talked last?” She asked with a bit of a smirk. Probably not since she knew her friend would have likely chickened out. How could she not talk to him… he was so quiet and shy that it should be easy to approach him!

Jazzilyn smiled brightly when Mira said she'd try to have hope and think more positive. Perfect! Movie quote really do help real life! Feeling the nuzzle, she giggled. Mira was also so soft and smelt good. She went to tell her as such but the other asked about the guy she liked. Her cheeks flushed a bit. “what do you mean, my crush? Dating is gross!” She told her. Why did she always tease he about this guy! Sure, he was really nice and shy but that didn't mean she was in love with him or something. “Let's just color and watch the movie!”
