 This book was heavy! Maybe he should've picked out a different one, but he liked the pictures and the cover was pretty. Tottering into the room with the tome in both hands, he thought about sitting on the floor but there were still toys and such scattered about, besides, there were comfy chairs if he was willing to put in a bit of extra effort and climb up into them.
Lifting the book as high above him as possible so he could avoid the obstacles haphazardly laid out on the flood, he moved towards the back of the room where armchairs were positioned for more comfortable studying in the common room. He didn't notice the bundle sleeping there until he was standing at the foot of the chair and debating throwing the book onto the seat first before climbing up. His second thought was oh wow that looks fluffy. Were they asleep? It wasn't nap time though.
"Hey?"
Hm. It wasn't nice to touch people, but he was sorely tempted. Their hair was so bright and pretty! Instead he put his book on the floor and bit his sleeve, wondering what he should do. Standing on top of the book to get some extra height, he got closer to the sleeping Freshling.
"Hey! It isn't nap time! ...I don't think."
Maybe. Probably? Nap time was the same time for everyone right?

Sometimes it was hard to get into the perfect position for the ideal nap. Too much of the time he had Elijah following him around and while he was comfy to lay on he didn't like to nap nearly as often as Ashe did. Today though, the nine must have been smiling on him because he had crawled up into this big cushy armchair and curled up with his blanket and started to doze off nearly immediately.
The fact that there wasn't anybody else in the area made it that much easier for him to get a nice nap in and by the time there was another source of noise in the room he was already mostly waking up on his own. Not that he was gonna get up anytime soon. After all, he was nice and warm and it was comfy. The source of the noise, the faint rustle of fabric and soft footsteps, got louder as someone approached and then came to a stop nearby.
Before he could take a peek or anything, a voice was addressing him. Peeling one crimson eye open he yawned mightily before turning to get a good look at the other freshling. They looked kinda. . .wispy but their eyes glowed which was neat.
"Nap time is all the time," he replied, letting loose another yawn. "Especially in comfy places like this when it's all quiet." Loosening the blanket he shifted into a more upright, sort-of-sitting position. The motion made his small kitsune plush tumble from the precarious position it'd been left in from where he'd been holding onto it and his ears perked up as he leaned over the edge of the seat in an attempt to rescue it.
"Mr Bearington!!" he muttered, frustrated about having to pick the toy up yet again. He'd dropped it a couple times and had to rouse himself back out of slumber to fetch it from the floor before drifting back off. Now though, it was just barely beyond his fingertips as long as he stayed on top of the chair.
