Floral Arrangement – DD owns a Floral shop that specializes both in floral arrangements, made personally by her and her students, and the floral arrangement classes she teaches. She also enjoys gardening and potting plants. Doing these activities are not just a money maker for her, but an enjoyable hobby for her, as well as a soothing coping skill. She also enjoys teaching others.
Crocheting – While not yet a moneymaker, DD is content with making a few birthday gifts and Christmas garments here and there. Actually, right now, it’s a money-eater. Sometimes, she is able to give of her foster children a badly-needed shirt or scarf. Nothing fancy here, but a need is met and that is that matter to the child and to Laurie.
Virtues:
Motherly – DD is a single mother and foster mother who cares about her kids and will stop at nothing to protect them. On the other hand, she makes them eat their vegetables, and clean their rooms, and teaches them life lessons. It all balances out in the end.
Honesty – In an way, DD considers this living cleanly. From being honest in itself, not cheating or stealing, DD finds that she leaves all baggage behind. She knows that the smallest white lie told to the most insignificant person in your life can come back to haunt you. So, to counteract that, she lives cleanly - that is rightly.
Flaws:
Overprotective – As a single mother and foster mother, DD will fight to protect her kids. But sometimes she can go a little overboard with it, demanding information on their friends, boyfriends, etc. It may come from being a knight. It probably comes because she’s worried someone might hurt them like she was hurt. She does it because she loves them, but it can drive some kids away.
Gruff – DD, especially when she is in a bad mood, in knight mode, or in knight-in-shining-armor mode (sometimes known as overprotective motive) can be very gruff, straight, to the point and wants no nonsense. She’ll also be blunt. Truthfully, she just wants to get the job done and get it over with, so she can have a more enjoyable time doing something else.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Hair and eye colors cannot change from civilian to powered form, nor can tattoos or piercings. If your character has a tattoo as a civilian it will appear on the powered art, though will have a glamour to prevent people who have seen both from identifying civilian identities. Hairstyles can change between civilian and powered form; only Corrupted Senshi have vastly different hair between civilian and powered forms (their hair grows extensively in length!) Unnatural hair and eye color are perfectly fine, and there is no need to say they use dye or contacts - your character is free to have been born with blue hair if you want. Genetic heterochromia is not allowed, sorry!

Knight Title: Amenardes, Page of Venus; Challenge: “For the Protection of the Children.” Uniform: Knights all have a different theme depending on what Planet/Celestial Body they represent. Check the Knight Information thread to get an idea of what designs would be appropriate to best represent your Knight's planet! Each Planet has a specific color palette so make sure you are drawing fro that when designing your Knight! The outfit might have a few accent colors that stray from the palette, but the majority of the colors should match it. Metallic colors are allowed for all Knights regardless of color scheme, but the uniform must feature predominantly palette colors! Dark colors should not dominate the uniform so even if the color palette is naturally dark, please keep this in mind! Your Knight should have their planetary symbol presented as a major motif in their outfit, so please consider where these symbols might best appear on their uniform! Reference pictures may be used in place of descriptions, but please be prepared to give extra detail if your artist requires it! Blinding light appears around Amenardes in the form of full body armor (but isn't true armor). As far as being beautiful, this armor makes the Squire Armor look grotesque in comparison, it is so beautiful, and severely distracts an enemy for as long as the Magic lasts. Magic Pool: 45 Seconds. Hi, Hawk! I have a few things to go over before I can stamp your profile. First: the last name "Banks" is already in use, by Ghouliboo; if you'd like to use it, you can contact her and ask if she's alright with sharing, but we don't allow last name overlap without permission, sorry! Second, right now, her virtues feel less like traits and more like interesting backstory information. I know a lot about why she;'s motherly and cleanly, but not how she is. Cutting out the backstory information to just focus on the traits themselves will give me a much better idea of her character as she is now, rather than what happened to her in the past! On the powered side, your link to the wonder isn't working, but I assume it's the crater on Venus? If so, that definitely works as a Wonder! However, right now, her magic doesn't fit Venus's themes, really. The themes are "love, beauty, passion"; I don't see any of that coming through in literally sweeping enemies off their feet. Although it kinda works as a pun, it'll need to be a little more directly connected, sorry! Alright that should take care of it. Thank you for your patience. I have done lots of Senshi, but this is only my second Knight, my first was a long time ago, and I finished working on this over a year ago, and it somehow got lost. (which is why that link no worked)

The civilian side looks much better, excellent! Unfortunately, I'm still not seeing the connection to love, beauty, or passion with her magic. I can see being magically dazzled by her beauty, but if that's what you're going for, it'll need to be a little more explicitly spelled out in the magic itself! Also, how severely are they affected? Total blindness for a long period would be difficult, since that would leave opponents very defenseless, but if they're just partially blinded or have trouble seeing (or perhaps are just distracted) that's much easier! Also, as a minor note, her magic effects will last for however long she's channeling the spell, not just "for some time." Thanks again! heart
