Geocronite had parked himself on one of the buildings in the less-populated areas of the city. He would have gone to a more popular spot but didn’t have the confidence to go and try to find a victim and manage to keep people from being able to see him while doing so. Unfortunately that meant that there were less targets here, but that was okay in his book. He still didn’t want to do any of this and the fact that he was forced to annoyed him. That wasn’t the point though, the point was that he was here and he needed to find a victim. Hopefully someone who was already incapacitated enough so that he wouldn’t have to punch them out first.
And then, he spotted his opportunity. It seemed that a drunk had wandered his way into one of the alleys below and had fallen asleep, in it. And not in a very comfortable position. But Geo wasn’t one to let such an opportunity go to waste.
He jumped down and looked around a bit, also searching for an aura, before touching the man and slowly draining some of his energy. He had gotten a decent chunk, until he felt the aura of an Order senshi nearby and he groaned. “Really? Every time I try to do this…” He muttered to himself, trying to drain the man a bit faster so he could meet his quota for the week and get away before the senshi could come and stop him.
To be real ******** honest, even if hope for Still wasn’t totally lost - yeah. It was a goddamn understatement to say Eurydike was ******** pissed off about what had befallen his friend. It’d done nothing to help his ‘love’ of those bastards in the negaverse.
It was their fault. All of them.
So his patrols had gotten a little more intense, and now here he was, tracking down the energy signature of one of their rank. Maybe he couldn’t go back in time to stop what’d happened to Olga (no matter how bad he wanted to), the -least- he could do was ******** up their night.
He jumped down from another rooftop, aiming to drop close to the ******** and his target, snarling like a damn animal as he swung a fist. “******** off!!”
Geo barely had time to react before he felt the aura get too close and soon there was a fist in his peripheral vision. He only just moved out of the way of the fistk, but still get a mighty fine hit on the jaw that made him clack his teeth a bit. He jumped away and growled, putting the energy orb into one of his pockets.
“Always got to be that way huh?” Geo said, mostly to himself and summoned his ‘weapon’, the drawing compass. It may not have been much, but at least it was something he could use to defend himself, though he was sure that the senshi had some sort of magic up their sleeve that would hurt him somehow. He supposed that was just what had to be done. Though if he did find an opportunity to escape he would.
He knew that attacking the senshi head on wouldn’t be the best idea but decided to try anyway and flew back at the other, trying to unleash his own punch, but making sure not to keep his abdomen too exposed.
“I could say the same s**t to you, ********!” Eurydike snapped back, gritting his teeth and shifting his stance. He’d been busy with a million other ******** things, enough that he hadn’t been patrolling as much as he should have (and if he had been, he was sure Olga would still be… Olga). But he’d tried s**t here and there, sometimes even just free trials of classes on self-defense, or YouTube s**t on how to throw a decent ******** punch.
Partly instinct, he moved to try to catch the fist flying at him, grunting as he swung his head forward to try and slam it against the ********. Maybe not the ideal tactic, but to be fair he DID have salt crystals on his headband and a damn thick skull to match. If he even made contact.
This guy isn’t here to talk it seems. Geo thought as he got a shoulder full of skull when he moved to dodge the headbutt from the senshi. Geo was more a climber and outdoorsy, he was not a fighter, so getting into all of these scraps with Order senshi or Knights was really teaching him just how little he knew about fighting. He was still within range, and swung his other arm with the compass at the senshi. Hopefully he would hit, but he really hoped that the senshi would jump out of the way, giving him a chance to escape.
“Pulled into this s**t that I don’t even want to be in. You think I want to be fighting you?” He yelled, still trying to figure a way out of the situation. Maybe it would make the senshi pause a bit. It’s not like all agents were doing this willingly!
The compass was a swing and a hit, biting into Eurydike’s skin on his upper arm and drawing beads of blood on either point. He gritted his teeth, but accepted it, swinging closer to try and grab the officer by the collar instead of jumping away.
“BULLSHIT,” he snarled, his brown eyes hot like fire. “If you don’t want it, get out! - there’s a ********’ million ways out! I could ********’ call someone right now!” Well, not literally now. But he’d seen it done. He knew it was possible. “If you don’t wanna hurt people, STOP ********’ HURTIN’ THEM, JACKASS.”
“There is no way out! And how would I be able to do it anyway without getting caught?! They are everywhere!” Geo replied, still trying to find a way out. Again, he had heard that there was a way, but how could he possibly get out of this lifestyle without being caught? And he knew that there were others who were forcibly corrupted into the Negaverse just like himself. “If it was that easy, then I wouldn’t have been forced into all of this!” He was grabbed by the collar, and before he even thought about it, Geo sent his compass straight at the man’s arm that was now closer.
“I’m done for the night! Let me go and I’ll leave! Besides, how would I know to trust you if you know someone who can help when you suddenly attack me? Sounds like you’re full of s**t!”
Eurydike hissed and flinched when those points dug into his arm.
And deep down, he knew he’d probably ******** up. If what this guy was saying was true and he was being forced - but he wouldn’t say it.
“I attacked ‘cause you were ********’ attackin’ someone genius!” he snapped as he drew back his arm, releasing the other man. “There are ********’ ways out! But if you’re too much of a goddamn coward to do anythin’ about it, maybe you’re ********’ suited to ‘em!”
Again. He didn’t totally mean it. Just…
“Just go then. You better not be dickin’ me around then. Don’t ******** with anybody else tonight, you little p***k.”
“Coward? Right.” Geo snorted. “I guess I am a coward knowing how much of a chokehold that the Negaverse holds on the entire world. And that there are ways of finding out who is going to try to be purified.” His General had told him as much. And there was a warning that if he even tried then he would have his starseed taken out. “I didn’t ask to be put into any of this. ANY of it. Ignorance is bliss.”
But Geo backed off. “You might have a better time convincing someone they would be safe getting out without attacking first.” And then he was off, hoping on rooftops until he believed himself to be safe, jumping down and powering down, really wishing that he could just be out in the woods, roughing it right now.
