Abilities:
✦ Vampiric physiology: Like all other vampires, Maze is utterly no different when it comes to her physiology. She does have the ability to walk in the daylight with little irritation, and her strength, agility, durability, and stamina- among other things- are enhanced greatly. She's rather tall, adding an extra bit of power behind her appendages, and while her agility isn't up to snuff for more specialized vampires, all she has to do is catch them. She has rather large wings like any other vampire, and can fly with ease while her nails can grow long into talons for normal physical attacks. She can hypnotize others, like other vampires, and can slink into the shadows for stealthy acts. What physical things most every vampire can do, she can as well.
✦ Blood Empowerment: Like other vampires, after a feeding Maze's abilities are almost doubled. Fresh blood enhances her more, while blood from someone recently dead would barely give her a good high. This has made the vampire slightly addicted to blood consumption, and she feeds much more often than someone of her age would truly need.
✦ Maze has the special ability to sway certain probabilities into her favor by merely directing her conscious and psionic thought onto a situation. For example she could be in imminent danger of a stake through the heart, but instead it somehow punches a few inches to the right to miss vital organs. In other words, people view her as extremely lucky. She can make almost anything fall into her favor as long as she is not surprised or her mind is preoccupied, though there has to be a somewhat probability of something to happen for her to sway. So if she were trying to coerce a homosexual male, or a straight woman, unless they are themselves flirtatious, the probability of anything happening would be impossible. Of course she cannot change their personalities or opinions, Maze can slightly change an outcome into her favor, though vampires are almost immune to the abilities as the affinity is usually in their veins. Almost absolutes are very hard to change into her favor, and can sometimes fail, while the more probable something is is far easier to change. The flaws of a person, or their abilities, are far easier to manipulate into her favor, allowing the vampire to cause destruction around her without lifting a finger.

Bio: Unlike most vampires, Maze was not born inside of the Midnight Manor or in the ever present darkness of the land. Instead she was conceived by two nomadic vampires far outside of the warmth of the dark. She knew nothing of the "royal" family, and as she grew, she didn't care to. No, she lived with her parents like a good girl, continuing their mundane honest work among the races as owners of their own establishment. They had a business, a good one, that could provide others with anything they so desired- within reason and morals of course. Even witches trusted them, the enigmatic creatures gracing the fools with their presence, asking for access to the bathhouse, or their brooms to be cleaned. It was a time before so much hostility, so much death, and the nomadic vampires were not at the mercy of opinions of the elite ones in the land of darkness. With such services, in payment blood vials would be filled by clients willingly to feed the family without forcibly taking it from others. A peaceful way to coexist, as it were for extraordinary talents such as the family had.
Of course that peaceful time had to come to an end, like all things do.
When vampires began spreading their influence outside of their land, those such as Maze's family became affected immediately. It happened gradually, not overnight like many would assume, and before the family knew it their patronage dwindled further and further until they had nothing left. They were alright, for a time, refusing to forcibly take the blood of the animals that humanity was. Instead they lived off their vials, drinking every last drop until there was nothing left. Even after, Maze's parents did not hunt, they did not feed on the living or use their power to coerce. They refused to allow her to go out as well, locking her to wrought iron so she could not escape.
That was until one night when snarls and slashes filled the desolate bathhouse. After chaining her to the post, as per the usual every morning, her mother left the keys by her bed. Maze remembers a forlorn look in her mother's gaze before the woman left her there, slowing walking out of the room. Almost immediately after did the wet squelches come. She did not know why, but even through her hunger stricken mind she could feel herself beginning to tear up. Slowly, she undid her binds, and walked out of the room. Maze found them inches away from the hotspring fueled bath, her father atop her mother with scratches and gouges. His fangs seemed to glisten in the warm candle light as they pierced her mother's throat.
She would claim it happened in a blur then. Her feral father came for her then, somehow tripping over his own feet and landing directly opposite her. Maze's attire was splattered in blood, the vampire never taking eyes off her mother until she heard her father's dying gasps. She peeled her blue orbs away from her mother's to look down at her father, the man having been impaled by a piece of wood that had come undone by years of unkempt. At the time she did not understand how even a feral vampire could trip over his own feet, but in the moment she didn't care. She kneeled next to her dying parent and watched. Maze watched her father die.
It was easy to burn down the bathhouse after that. Maze watched it burn and smolder in the night, the place being far from prying eyes so no one came running to extinguish the flames. After this, the vampire roamed. She stuck to moving at night like her parents had taught her, but eventually she would also travel during the day. When she came upon her first small settlement after her home, she blacked out. Awaking inside of a cellar the next day, it didn't take her long to realize she had massacred the entire village. The funny thing was... she wasn't sad about it. She didn't care. Maze just... moved on.
While she never razed another settlement again, Maze also didn't stop with her infatuation with blood. She would never go hungry again, never turn feral like her father, and by whatever gods there were she was not going to turn into a monster. Everything she did after was responsible, truthful, and she did not kill when taking blood. Now, she just roams.
Personality: Maze has a deep hatred for most other vampires, as well as anyone who distrusts her for her species. She finds comfort in taking responsibility in her own actions, and she will tell you her intentions upfront and honestly before ever going back on her word. She respects business owners, but detests practices of bargaining in that setting other than money. She enjoys nature, walking and being alone, but she will also seek out menial companionship with anyone who may be of interest. Maze is never truly caring of anyone around her, opting to keep people at a distance, though she will always welcome a distraction from her everyday life. If anyone were to break through this shell, she is one to fight tooth and nail for them without any reservations, and will use all of her abilities to keep them safe.
