Vito lives in a large, Gothic-style mansion on a cliff overlooking the ocean, near an abandoned lighthouse. Most of the windows are covered with thick shutters to keep out the sun's deadly rays.

((Sorry the writing isn't very good. I can't write as well as I used to.))  It was a night in late summer, shortly after midnight. The waning crescent moon hung low in the cloudless, starry sky. Don Vito Sinamorata stood on a dock near his mansion, gazing out at the ocean which stretched as far as the eye could see. The waves lapped gently against the dock, causing it to creak and groan...
Vito had recently ordered himself a slave from an online pet market. Her name was Fia, and she was a beautiful young sea kelpie... He intended to keep her as his plaything. Being such a rare being, her blood would be especially sweet. He intended to use her body for his own amusement, and to force her to use her powers to do his bidding.
Vito could hear the whine of the boat's motor approaching before he saw it. He saw the light appear on the horizon, and watched as the small watercraft approached the docks. It was heading straight towards him. He smiled, knowing that Fia was finally here. He looked forward to meeting her... He hadn't had a new toy in a long time, especially one as pretty or unique as she was.
Vito pulled a small flashlight from the pocket of his coat, shining it to signal the captain of the boat. He watched as the motorboat approached the dock. Pulling up alongside it, the men on board tied it to the pier. A female figure was brought up, in chains from the boat's hold. He could tell from her scent that she was definitely no human. His blood-red eyes seemed to shine in the moonlight as he watched them drag her, off of the boat and onto the pier.

Dark Lord Everfear [ not sure if you remember; but we had first decided that Fia would be gifted to Vito by his rival Leon, for completing a business deal; but Leon would have an ulterior motive behind it, of course ~ ]

Those were the last words that Fia's owner spoke to her. Being abandoned like this certainly did not feel good, even when Leon tried reassuring her that this was only temporary. However, she knew where she stood, and she knew that 'no' was not an answer that she could ever even think of. In all honesty, Fia was willing to lay her life down for Leon. He had taken her away from those awful slave traders almost three years ago, and he's been nothing but kind to her ever since. Of course, that was mainly because Fia was pretty much obedient without hesitation, and only offered her thoughts when asked. She was the definition of a perfect slave. Though after being owned by Leon for that long, she had somewhat opened up, especially since he was the one who often asked her to speak her mind, even though that was never an option with her previous owners.
Thus, being relied upon by such a person, Fia was willing to do anything but disappoint him. His request seemed simple enough; she had to be someone else's slave for a while, get close to him, know everything about him and how he runs his business, and then report back to Leon. The last part would probably be the only tricky part, but Fia had her ways, and she would have a lot of helpers. Leon had told her that her new owner's house oversaw the ocean, which made Fia thrilled, to say the least.
Being restrained by chains didn't really bother the female, what bothered her was that they were on a boat, on top of water and she couldn't even touch it. Though, the guards probably feared that as soon as she touches it, she would turn into her kelpie form and escape; that was an insult to her, really. Not only was she able to run away without even touching the water, she also was not one to disobey orders from her owner. Therefore, Fia had sat quietly, letting the scent of the sea intoxicate her.
Fia shifted her attention from the beautiful movements of the water due to the boat's interaction with it, to the flickering light ahead of them. This was it; the show was on. As they approached the dock, the motorboat slowed and the roar of the engine died down. Fia stood up as she was ordered to, before the guards guided her off the boat. As soon as she got on the pier, her eyes landed on her new -temporary- owner. She kept her stare steady as one of the guards unchained her. Fia kept her stare for a few moments longer, as the motorboat started heading away from the dock.
"You've scared all the sea creatures away," Fia accused, her usual cold expression was showing a slight anger. This certainly was not a good start. Fia could push a lot of things aside, but she certainly could not let this go. She could sense it; no creature has dared to come anywhere near the shore for way too long. "It was their home before it was ever yours," She seethed, knowing that this was more or less the opposite of what she was asked to do, but she wasn't really one to hold her tongue much when it came to things like these.
