Hobo + Juro Juro sighed as he walked towards the store as requested by his girlfriend, Natasha. Today felt like any other normal day, except he was pretty sure that it was his and his twins birthday. His family likely had something planned in the evening but for now, he was getting somethings for Natasha. He had spent the night at her house and awoke to her whining that she wanted to make breakfast but lacked food. So, here he was.. walking to the store for her. He had to admit, Natasha was acting funny today. Maybe she was not feeling good or something. He mentally added ginger ale and crackers to his list, along with soup. Just in case. Hobo + Cerise Cerise waited to receive the text from Natasha that Juro was gone before dragging Aodh with her inside Natasha's house. Her big brother had already told them it was okay to have a small party for Juro at their house. She smiled to Natasha as she came through the door, "We're here! And we brought the goods." She showed her all the bags of food and decorations. "How much time do you think we have?" She asked curiously. She had met Juro and Natasha in her math class. The fallen thought the couple was just the cutest! She especially loved Natasha and was real good friends with her now. Then there was the grumpy hybrid that Cerise had met in science. They may be grumpy but she knew there was more to them. "We should get started!" leon + Natasha Natasha was excited to spoil her boyfriend on his special day. She'd clued in her close friends, as well as made sure her big brother was cool with their plans. For what it was worth, she wanted to spoil Juro on a normal day but especially like now. Her fluffy short tail wagged enthusiastically as she got the text back from Cerise her and Aodh were on their way. The Fallen was a close friend who she utterly adored hanging out with and going to the mall with...and Aodh was someone a little closer to Juro as the two were similar in demeanor and didn't bother one another when they needed to work. "Hey girl! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly." She beamed excitedly, rushing them inside. "I have some of the prep work done...most of it just needs to be laid out. We have a little! I sent him to the store, and he just left 10 minutes ago." She looked sheepish as she'd tricked her boyfriend to get him to go. leon + Aodh Aodh sighed as the Hyrid rubbed the back of his neck. If Cerise hadn't dragged him into this...he would still be at home listening to his large pack scamper around as it was the weekend. So maybe this wasn't so bad. "Hey." He actually waved, despite his reputation for being moody. Aodh usually spent most of his time helping out around the house for Drisden, Lir, and Callahan, or going to school. He didn't exactly have a career lined up for himself..or knew what he wanted to do after Academy. Good thing he was a junior still. "I'll...go set up the table, and get the decorations up since my phasing works, sorta." He offered as he quietly moved passed the girls, his tail flicking behind him. Hobo + Cerise Cerise smiled, "Alright! Let's get everything together then." She enthused, giving the decorations to Aodh then moving to set up the food. She left Natasha to decide what she needed to do and did her best to help make sure everything was perfect for her friends boyfriend. Heating up a pan like her sister taught her, she worked on cooking some burgers and asparagus for the main course. Sure, Cerise was a vegetarian but the rest weren't. Besides, she brought herself a veggie burger. She smiled as she worked diligently and neatly, excited for the little gathering. Cerise was glad Natasha had asked her, it was nice hanging out with her friends. Hobo + Juro Juro made it to the store, rubbing his neck. He was still analyzing the whole being sent out situation. Maybe it was that time of the month so maybe chocolate was a good idea? He sighed, grabbing a basket and walking through the store. He wanted to get anything she might need. He grabbed chocolate, crackers and ginger ale first then moved to grab all the things that Natasha asked him to grab. As he walked by the woman's aisle, he paused. The hybrid moved down the aisle, grabbing what he thought she would use then kept shopping. After paying, he moved back towards his girl's house. leon + Natasha Natasha looked positively on top of the world. She had met Juro when they were younger. He always let her dress him up in things she'd make, despite his reluctance to be her living fashion model. Luckily for Juro, she wanted to peruse a career as a personal chef and hostess! Her friend was getting a thank you card after this...the both of them had made this little get together that much more special. It touched her, she wasn't sure what they would tell her. Wiping her brow, she figured Juro was likely on his way back. Bolting over to fix another couple things..she also set out the boys gifts. She had gotten him a beautifully detailed book that had all kinds of space images, and facts within it. The thing was an encyclopedia and had been hard to hide, along with the other stuff she got him. leon + Aodh Aodh vanished through the wall connecting the living room and kitchen. He had to really concentrate, as phasing was hard for the hybrid. For what it was worth, he had more compassion and heart for those around him then he let on. Aodh simply had felt like he didn't belong. As a Hybrid he was neither a true Grimm..nor was he accomplished with his skillset as a Geist. For those in the room..and the boy whose party it was for, he did not mind sharing the workload. By the time he was done his glowing green eyes flickered around the room as he pursed his lips. "Cerise that smells good..." He peeked over her shoulder as his nose sniffed. His stomach rumble as he licked his lips. It was almost time, he wondered if Natasha wanted them to hide or not. Hobo + Cerise Cerise smiled as Aodh complimented the smell, "Thanks. My sister taught me to cook." She told them, flipping the burgers then moving to mix the punch elements together. She was excited for Juro to arrive. "Hey Natasha, maybe text to see how close he is?" She advised, moving around the kitchen. Cerise enjoyed cooking, and it also helped her friend out. As soon as the punch was done, she started on the little appetizer platters. She was focused on making sure all the food got done on time, she knew Natasha had a lot on their end to take care of. Hobo + Juro Juro stopped to sit on a bench for a moment, resting his arms and legs. He hated walking to the store but of course, he'd do it for the lady he adored. It was a fairly far walk and carrying groceries makes it feel even longer. A small groan escaped his lips despite his determination. He was almost home, Juro just had to push himself a little bit further. Grabbing the bags, he stood up and continued towards home. As he started to pass the last store, he stopped to text Natasha. Asking if she needed anything else before he passes the last store. leon + Aodh Aodh smiled unexpectedly, half tempted to snag a piece of the goods but he didn't want to interrupt her flow. "My folks taught me the basics, and so us older kids could help out with the Pack." He looked thoughtful. "Your sister knew what she was doing then." He complimented quietly. The hybrid's Grimm ears perked up hearing mention of Juro's name. "Good idea, I'm going to get a few more things hung up." It was easy..he could phase through the top floor and dangle things. His attention went back to finish last-minute preparations, padding off as he vanished from the site of either girl. leon + Natasha Natasha giggled as the other boy vanished, she had seen the light color on his pale cheeks..he was embarrassed but glad for the company knowing him. Her attention was on Cerise as she went to stand beside her friend, nudging her with her hip with a playful smile. "Oooo! Good idea." She reached for her phone, swiping it open as her tail swished enthusiastically. No, its ok sweetie...what you did is perfect..! thank you for going for me. ♡ She replied, her tanned cheeks flushed as she beamed at Cerise. "He's just down a street or so! He's by the last store." Her tail was still wagging. "Okay!! Okay I think we are ready~" She chimed as the Hybrid rushed to get the punch on the table...and the cake opened and put out on display. Hobo + Cerise Cerise smiled at the compliment, letting him go off and do his own thing. She added cheese to the burgers then slid them into the cooled over to keep them warm. The fallen smiled as Natasha's hip bumped her, getting her back. Laughter was shared between them after the gesture. Cerise could tell just how excited Natasha was, it was actually pretty cute to see how much the other Junior cared about Juro. "Alright! Sounds good." She replied, moving next to Natasha. "I think he will be pleased." She assured her with a warm smile, as the other seemed to be restless. Hobo + Juro Juro finally got to the house after reading Natasha's text. As he reached the door, he set the bags down to take off his shoes then ushered the bags inside. He gently used his foot to close the door before heading to the kitchen. "Tashy, I'm back. I picked you up som--" he looked up to see his three friends and around them, a delicious looking spread. There was even a cake for him... She did remember. A soft smile crossed his face as he gently set the food down. "You guys... Did all this for me?" He asked, touched that his friends gave him a little party. leon + Natasha Natasha felt like she was going to burst from excitement. Was that even possible?! She checked her phone at least once or twice more before leaving it be. Juro would have replied already if he had needed to. Her poor boyfriend was likely carrying far too much knowing him, and trying to make as good of a time as possible. She felt bad for not being honest with him, but she was certain he would understand. Watching him take it all in, she sighed with relief. Natasha..was the luckiest being. Oh Nine, what had she done to deserve him? "Hi Juro...welcome back." She touched his hand with her paw and leaned in to kiss his cheek. "Yes, this is for you. I mentioned wanting to surprise you, and Cerise was on it faster than I could delegate...and she brought help!" Natasha giggled. leon + Aodh Aodh would have been lying if he didn't think this was not only cute, but a fun way to celebrate a party. The Hybrid felt his heart swell in his chest. Even if he was at odds with his heritage..one thing he did feel was surrounded by friendship was happiness. He couldn't wait to see his friends reaction. Lost in thought, he finished what was promised before rejoining them several minutes later. Aodh quietly joined the three of them, as he picked up on a door handle being rustled..and Juro's voice called out for Natasha unaware of their presence just yet. When the boy looked surprised at them, he grinned. "Mhm, it was mostly the girl's idea..but I wouldn't miss it." He added with a small smile lining his lips. Hobo + Cerise Cerise smiled big, "I wanted it to be perfect! Happy birthday, Juro!" She told him before moving to pull out the burgers. She then quickly got out the fixings for the burgers and laid everything out. "Let's eat before it gets cold." She announced, moving to serve up the punch in four glasses and letting everyone else get food first. Cerise might have cooked, but she wanted to give everyone a chance to see what they thought of her food. She grinned as she nibbled on some cheese and fruit. This party was great and she was happy she joined in on the fun. Hobo + Juro Juro's cheeks flushed as everyone explained they were here for him. He really did have good friends... And an amazing girlfriend. He had his suspicions, but nothing had prepared him for what the three of them had done. As soon as the food was out and everyone seemed distracted, the hybrid moved to kiss Natasha deeply. As he pulled away, he looked her in the eyes. "I love you, Natasha.." he whispered before going to get some grub. She was wonderful, and he was beyond lucky to have her. Today was going to be great! He couldn't wait to spend time with everyone. Juro had thought no one would know, oh how he had been so pleasantly wrong. leon + Aodh Aodh couldn't help his own bright smile that followed. "Happy birthday, Juro~ I'm glad we can all be here together." He actually meant it as he grinned. He wasn't dating anyone in the room, but friendship was as equally as important as any other relationship. His stomach rumbled in agreement, the burgers sounded perfect on an empty stomach. Aodh moved as if to help Cerise, but the girl, as usual, had a calm patience about her. He would have rather she eat first, but the Fallen was a big girl. Aodh quietly realized he was luckier than he even realized, he was a fool to think he was alone leon + Natasha Natasha let the others mill about as they wanted, her attention was truthfully more-so focused on Juro. It wasn't like she was ignoring her friends, she was just happy that he seemed to enjoy the surprise from their shared efforts. With a moment just between them, she kissed him back as her eyes closed. Nuzzling his nose with hers she gazed at him with love. "I love you, Juro...so much." She added softly, her heart raced as he whispered. Lost in the moment, she admired the three of them before going to grab the goods as Cerise had worked very hard on their delicious main course. She couldn't imagine a more perfect way to spend her afternoon, then how they were now.
