It'd been a long last few years. Devorah had one of the coolest roommates and watched them leave. She'd been adopted by the best three parents she could ask for. Of course, she was her Mama's girl! Though, she did love her papas too.. even if Max still intimidated her a bit. Dandy says he is just quiet and that he will open up after time. She was looking forward to that.

Between being adopted, classes, saying goodbye to friends and making new friends; devorah felt ready for her junior year. She still had no idea what she wanted to work towards but she had plenty of time for that. What she did know is that she wanted to be closer to Kanda and her family. She even started a class to learn how to sign so she could interpret for her best friend, wanting to make her life easier. Then there was her friend, Hikito. The Grimm couldn't help but want to be near them. Perhaps it was because they made her feel different than everyone else, not that she really knew why. Obviously she needed to be around them more to figure it out!

With a sigh, Devorah flopped on her bed and looked at the ceiling. She had her own room! Something she never had before; however, even with another sibling.. she felt a bit lonely. Maybe she should try out for sports or some extra curricular activity to feel more part of the world. A smile crossed her face, stretched before curling into her pillow. For now, she'd focus on school. Tomorrow, she'd ask dandy to take her clothes shopping to prepare for her junior year!
