Freshlings weren't his cup of tea. They were stubborn, self centered, and too much time to bother with. Rafe had never before dreamed or wanted to think of having children of his own.

That is...until today. Business was going well, it had always been booming and thriving. And even with business being so profitable, he would have never had thought that he'd invest in children. Until, of course, meeting with one of his business partners who had recently taken the plunge and gotten a few stones for he and his fie.

It was peculiar, how happy he was. How carefree. The magic that he used in order to make those stones didn't dwindle the productivity. It only enhanced it. His partner's business was doing far better than his own production.

That needed to change. He couldn't let his own practice be overshadowed by his partners. Rivals and other companies should be going to him.

And if it took having a few stones then....why not? It wasn't his issue. He'd have plenty of money to care for them.

The demon pulled out his phone and riffled through his contacts. Who, though, would he expend his magic with? Maeko immediately crossed his mind. They were close....Surely, a few freshlings wouldn't ruin their relationship...right? Dieties, he hoped not. Maeko was a great asset on his team and someone that...he strangely cared for.

The worst he could do is say no, right? Rafe thumbed Maeko's name, before writing out "I think it's time that we have stones together." A simple proposal. One that he hoped would work.
