problem child.Physical Description: Aerone herself looks somewhat like a norse woman and an italian had a daughter -- she's built strong and large, but with pale skin and jet black hair and hazel eyes. She dresses for riding often, and usually to protect herself from danger. Most of her clothes are a mix of leather, hides, and hemp weave, making her look brown and beige, so when she can splurge she enjoys buying accent dies made of things local to an area.
Personality: Calm, sweet Aerone is surprisingly resiliant. She tries to look out for people who can't protect themselves and will often talk her companion Nidhoth into backing her as a roaming Rider-Dragon pair. Aerone is a very loving andmotherly soul when she can settle with special fondness for children or those in Need, and will, if near a weyr, drop in to peer at the weyrlings and candidates to see if she can offer assistance. She tries to consider others' needs in her Life Choices, resulting in times the rider will act to her dragon's displeasure, and has a weak sense of self preservation in some situations, rushing to others in need. She's used to handling her rather grouchy, uncooperative-to-most dragon, whom she's been by for years, and who... Well, is why she can be rather authorative at tuimes, or bossy. Aerone is used to having to drill a factoid or orders into a very grumpy dragon at times, and sometimes it bleeds over into reminding herself nobody really has to listen to the wandering rider.

History: Until 15, Aerone lived a mostly-typical existance. Working toi learn to heal from her mother, Aerone was Searched in a typical search, and brought to a weyr as a Candidate. She never expected to Impress but during the Touching, she met the 'problem' egg -- a very oproud, loud, and arrogant egg that liked lording his future suposed strength over others. Whikle he didn't get aklong with candidates, Aerone tried, then thoughjt nothing more until the Sands.
When the dragonet hatched a brown, his immediate reaction was to bugle his arrival and then try to lord over his siblings before looking for His, and His he found in Aerone, whom was watching her companions Impress left and right around her, the girl more than surprised when the imperious brown sat ON her feet like a pup and declared her His forever. While training with Nidhoth it quickly became clear the brown was unhappy taking orders from the bronzes or his gold mother, the male obeying the gold -- and snapping and grumping at anyone else. Any dragon who came too close to his rider was often greeted with snapping and growling as well and Aerone, upon completing weyrling training entirely, had to break her dragon off from one such bad mood when he went to fight his brother -- while Nidhoth never touched a human and was ever so gentle of them, it was other dragons he did not care for. To protect both her dragon and her friends', Aertone stole away with Nidhoth into the night to roam, seeking areas of Pern who might appreciate a brownrider's help. Thread was NOT only an unplanned, unwelcome arrival, it nearly caught them offguard away from a cavern, Aerone hiding in it with her dragon until the fiurst fall passed. After that, Aerone began to help Nidhoth combat thread, often in areas In Need of a Rider's help, or breifly entering a weyr's area offering to aid the fight. Aerone roams still, keeping her dragon from trouble, and while Nidhoth's defiance has cooled enough he could probably manage well, the rider chooses not to risk it unless she were to find reason to plant boiots in one place.

Physical Description: Large and grumpy, Nidhoth has a lighter brown palette; with the wing membrane, throat and chest and bellt, and face markings lightest. His ridges are the darkest part of him, and he's often seen airborn instead oif landed.
Personality: Nidhoth is proud, arrogant, and surprisingly possessive and snappy. Between he and his rider, Nidhoth is a crank who doesn't like to share and was a Big Problem in his youth, picking fights with any dragon too near his rider, going so far as to bite, although living rogue has mellowed him. He'll endure lady dragons, or dragons not into females, but he's still protective. This can also be positive -- Nidhoth will pull Aertone from danger, and can be surprisingly tender and gentle with her, children, hatchlings, or similar. The male is a strong male fond of his rider -- he was Impressed when he hatched but was drawn to her for her tender heartedness, a trait the pair share deep inside, even if he wraps his up in a sheen of anger.
Nidhoth is kind to humans, mindful of where they are, and skilled at finding them, and knows to stand aside when he's angry -- he has limits and will not harm a dragon enough to risk the Rider -- but he does ACT that aggressive, and always has.
On the road, and sometimes when visiting places, Nidhoth will hunt for himself and his rider and any hgumans among them, secretly proud of his skill, and enjoying the proof of his skill and might. If Aerone does not eat to his liking, he will scold. If he feels Aerone is too tired, he fusses, and if he thinks she's gotten too worked up by a flight... He's probably not there, he's off chasing the green or gold, but he always returns quickly to comfort his rider and look after her. For all his grump and teeth and how he acts to dragon males, he's filled of tenderness and love for his Rider, and a gentle claw for humans.
