A interaction one day with a young child while out in the field made her think of how lonely her life has been up to now. Yes she was still studying at the University but she was one of the few who were permitted to obtain "on site schooling" meaning she was able to substitute work in the field for specific classes at the University. The child asked her why she looked so lonely when ever they saw her but she seemed to be happy when they were near her. This made her think, is that true? Am I happy when this child is near me? Her thoughts consumed her until she came to the realization that yes indeed she was happier when she was around a child.
