Well this was neat! Nara glanced down at 'arms' and body. Both covered in feathers! "Oohhh" She cooed, one wing touching the other to feel the softness. "So cool!" She grinned.
The young goddess didn't know how she did it. She just remembered seeing some birds fly and thought how cool it would be to have feathers. Next thing she knew? Here she was, a little butterball of an avian, petting her own wings. It likely was a strange sight for anyone nearby, but lucky for Nara, the early morning hours meant a much quieter time. She didn't quite know how she would explain herself to someone else if she was caught mid transformation from this young cub to fluffy bird.
Nara took a wobbly step, hearing the slightly ticking sounds from her own talons. Aha! Neat! She took another step, enjoying the clicks until she started stomping down the path, intentionally making her steps as heavy as possible.

A rather grumpy and scruffy looking raven rested in a tree branch, eye closed, seemingly sound asleep. Or maybe he was only pretending to sleep. The raven stirred, a ruffling of his wings. What was that annoying sound? And eye opened, glaring in the direction of stopping talons before closing again, trying his best to ignore it. No luck. Finally with a huff, the raven flew from his perch to land on another near the source of annoyance, a small and (very noisy) little bird. "Do you mind? Some of us are trying to sleep around here." Judeau, god of penzance in raven form, glared at the young bird. Hmmm...something seemed familiar about her, colors and markings that reminded him of someone, but who he could not place.

Nara took a rather large step, before the other bird landed in front of her. "Oh. I'm sorry! I just love the sound it makes." She prove her point, the little bird quickly tapped her feet, however she didn't have the best balance, not use to the small form, and found herself crumpling to the ground. She omphed, smile feathers littering the ground as she stood again, kicking her feet as she fluffed up. "Do your feet make the same amount of noise too?" At the glare she frowned. "Oh...Feathers makes that look too. That's not a very friendly look."

The raven raised a brow (did ravens have eyebrows?), giving the young bird a quizzical look. Though she was clearly young, she certainly large enough to not behave so...oddly. She acted as if she had never seen her own feet or wings before, like hatchling. Surely she was not that young. "I suppose they would, if I were so inclined." But not everyone needed to make so much noise. He shook his head, his own feathers ruffing as his wings stretched before settling again. What an odd little bird. "I do not know who that is." He supposed he had not been especially friendly, but then she had woken him up. Really, children, no consideration at all, huff. Why did she look so familiar? It was going to drive him nuts! "What is your name?"

"Oh. He is um...The God of...Conflict?" Nara nodded. That sounded right. "His real name isn't Feathers though. I don't remember what it is... But he's got these HUGE black wings that are so soft to touch." The young goddess reminisced. She blinked, a slight grin tugging at the corner of her beak. "I think you should show me!" She giggled. "All you gotta do, is just put one foot in front of the other. And bam!" tap tap tap. Nara demonstrated, to prove her point. "Oh I'm Fid----er" Oops. Can't introduce her name as her domain. That wouldn't be good. "I am Nara!" She chirped. ... Ah! She could chirp! Nara found herself whistling too, something she hadn't done in her goddess form. How neat! "What is your name?"

Judeau thought for a moment, no, he did not know any god of conflict. Not that he doubted her story, he simply did not know who she was speaking of. But then, how did such a small, and seemingly clueless, bird know a god, let alone the god of conflict. Conflict, that did not sound especially friendly, or not inclined to eat small annoying birds. "I would rather not, if you do not mind." The raven snorted. How grumpy had he become that he no longer wished to participate in childish games? Hmph, he had every right to be grumpy, he had lost his horn! He rolled his eyes as the small bird chirped and whistled, silly creature. Just what kind kind of bird was she? Hmm, Nara, he did not recall that name, perhaps he had been imagining things. Still, it nagged at his mind. "I am Judeau."

"You. Are no fun." Nara huffed! "Are all birds like you? Maybe it's anyone that has feathers." She contemplated. It was a pretty odd thing for a bird to say. Well, Ngaule was pretty nice, and she had wings. Tanaka was a grump, with large wings. Judeau was a grump with wings. Mkhai was a grump with wings. "Ohhh I see. It must be any boys with wings. Ah, that must be it!" If she could snap, she would have. The disguised goddess just shrugged, stomping around the avian as she bobbed her head. Oh look! What would it sound like if hit the ground that was wet! Would it make a different sound? The young goddess walked towards the small shoreline, her talons lightly hitting the cool water. "hehe" she giggled, puffing up as she made a small jump into the water. Unfortunately, that balance thing was at work again. Nara found herself falling face first into the liquid. She couldn't really brace herself with the little wings of hers, so she found her limbs transforming. Now in the water was a small goddess cub, not a small eagle chick. Nara glanced down at her now deity form. Uh-oh. Her dark eyes peered at Judeau. You didn't just see that...did you?

“That depends entirely on your idea of fun.” The scruffy raven huffed. Silly little bird, he knew how to have fun! He just...wasn’t in the mood to play silly little games that made no sense. Really, just what was her game anyway. Had she fallen from the nest and hit her head or something? Hmmm, perhaps she had, perhaps she had parents searching for her. Judeau gazed at the bird, seemingly too flabbergasted to speak. What on earth was she going in about? He blinked, staring, trying to figure just what it was she was talking about before deciding only she could possibly know. Heh, perhaps she did not know either... “I wouldn’t do that—“ No sooner had he spoken than the little bird suddenly tumbled into the water. Facewing! Well he had tried to warn her, he was not going in after her! Wait a minute—suddenly he knew why she had looked so familiar! Judeau took to the air, settling at the edge of the water, the form of the raven falling away to reveal that of the god of penance. He lowered his eye, eyes gazing at the small goddess, his sister? But...should she be... “Gwen? Why are you tiny?”

Even if Judeau had issued the warning sooner, Nara still would have ended up in the water. It wasn’t like she always paid attention to what others asked or told her to do. However, her eyes widened as the large gray raven seemed to materialize into another form, right before her eyes. No longer did a bird sit before her, but a gray winged lion. …Another god? Another god parading around as a bird? (Okay, so Judeau wasn’t really parading. That was totally Nara). And here the young goddess thought she was being unique, trying to have wings. Why was he even a bird anyways?! He had wings to play with! Her head tilted as she remained sitting in the water, the cool liquid sinking to her skin. “Gwen?” She blinked, dark blue eyes staring curiously at the other. “Who’s that?” She glanced around her. Maybe there was another around that Judeau had spotted? But sure enough, it was just the two of them. “Not me? I am Nara…?” A frown was placed on her lips. One thought on her mind however. She needed to get better at this disguising technique!

“You don not remember me?” Judeau blinked, staring at the little goddess. His head head tilted as he stepped toward her, close enough to sniff at her. She smelled like Gwen, she looked like Gwen, markings and mane colorings that matched his own. But...why did his sister not remember him? And why was she a cub? Was she pretending? Or had something happened? Surely they had not been apart so long she no longer knew him, even if he had changed himself? “I’m Judeau, your brother. Are you not the goddess of fidelity?” The gray ragged god was very confused. Maybe she did not know him without his horn... Sigh, his horn, the reason he had chosen to hide in another form. If he was a raven he did not have to see or think about it.

The look of confusion on her face should have been enough to answer Judeau's question in regards to her not knowing him. She shook her head, just to confirm the answer. "Er..." Her nose twitched. "I...don't have a brother." She said quietly. "Nor do I have parents....Anon and Gaius are like parents, but they aren't really related." Her ears perked at the domain name. "I mean...I am...At least, so I have been told?" Nara said, her mind beginning to fog slightly. Maybe this was what Dalila was talking about, remembering her past? It was slowly beginning to make her head hurt. "I think you are mistaken, sir." She said quietly. "I really don't have any family. And if I did...they wouldn't have left me alone." She remembered white and then rain when Aldan found her. Nothing more before that. Wasn't that how all Gods knew when they entered the world?

Judeau frowned, his expression falling as he stepped backward. How...how could she not know him? He did not understand, could he have been wrong? No, he knew his sister, it was her, but... “You had two brothers, and a sister, our parents were gods of balance and purity. But...you should be older, like me.” His voice had fallen quiet, soft words barely audible, his gaze shifting away from her as if his confidence were shaken. A quiet sigh, he looked up again, daring to take a step toward her once more. “You look like me...you really do not remember me?” He shook his head, uncertain if he should feel sad or confused. What could have happened to his sister? “Apologies, I will leave you to return to your game.”

Nara listened as Judeau spoke, although she found herself shaking her head in disagreement. He was...wrong. With one more shake of her head, "I don't.... I'm sorry." She frowned, finally stepping out of the water, shaking herself off. Oh? Did she...upset him? "You can stay! Um. We can play a game? It doesn't have to be as a bird. We can stay looking like this?" She gestured to her form, then Judeau's form. "Did you...did you wanna play?" Maybe that would distract him from the nonsense that they were related. "Or...." she shrunk down into her small eagle chick form. "We can stay birds!" She chirped, giving the male a wide grin. "What say you?"

Judeau shook his head, sitting back on his haunches, watching his sister who somehow was not his sister. Oh how very confused he was, perhaps even feeling...lost. It seemed the idea of other lifetimes was one he did not know, he might have understood if he did. He could only see that his sister had shrunk, and she did not remember him. “I—what kind of game?” It had been some time since Judeau had ‘played’, did he remember how? Did he ever know? A sigh, maybe playing was a bad idea, he was better at being a grumpy raven and feeling sorry for himself. If only his brother Van could see him now.

Nara hummed as she thought of a game. What would be a fair game to play between a large lion and herself? Tag was always a good go to? "Um...Whats his name like playing tag! I think we should play tag!" If only Nara knew that 'Whats his name' was actually Judeau's brother, Van. "Come on!" She felt herself materializing back into her goddess form. It wouldn't be easy to play tag in this form! Especially if he was faster at flying than she was at walking. Her rump wiggled in the air, ready to tag the other male. "Come on, come on!" She wiggled, giggling.
