Touched by an unknown entity, Fae Felurian was born a glowing fairy. Her parents were in disbelief, and the fairy clan had praised her as a goddess in a child's body. Before Felurian could even have dreams of her own, she was destined to be the leader of the fairies. As she grew up, she was given counsel by the wise fairies in preparation for leading her clan. Something became alarming to everyone when they noticed Felurian was not aging past her mid-twenties. It was as if she inherited the secrets of eternal life. Once she outlived her family, friends, and the clan she grew to know, Felurian realized she was a greater entity than she thought. This prompted her to be the only leader of her clan for the rest of time.
However, one unfortunate event came when Felurian discovered something about herself: She was mortal. A scar on her back shoulder remains a reminder to her that although she is ageless, she can die by injury.
