One Captain Harmotome viciously paced back and forth outside the castle in Negaspace. Scowling and cursing at anyone or anything unlucky enough to cross paths with her during this time. Something was wrong. Oh so very wrong. Apparently Pyrophanite had 'A MISSION' he needed to go on, but he only bothered to send her a message about it on the crystal communicators. When pressed for specifics, he didn't give them, and then after a certain point, he stopped responding to her messages entirely. It reeked of something being wrong. He couldn't look at her after that incident in the Rift.

She had questioned another General about Pyro's 'MISSION', but the General seemed at a loss. Even though thinking wasn't exactly her forte, Harmotome could see that she couldn't ask anyone else about it. That 'MISSION' had to be fake, and if word got around that Pyrophanite had gone off the radar...well. They'd be in deep s**t.

Think. Think. Think.

Back and forth in front of the castle Harmotome went, dark hands repeatedly tapping against her forehead and temples as she racked her brain. What had Pyro been saying prior to disappearing? What had he been doing? Details. She needed to remember details. When she had been spending time with him...they HAD been focusing in a certain area a lot more than others. An area that was largely abandoned and full of warehouses.

Harmotome came to a sudden stop, eyes widening.

That's right. They'd been checking out a lot of warehouses, under the guise of 'exploring' for homeless people and picking them off. Looking back on it now, though, Pyrophanite had seemed far too interested in the space. Holy s**t. Holy ********>. Harmotome almost teleported right then and there, but one thought held her back. She couldn't go alone. She just couldn't.

She almost reached for her communicator to call Haüyne or Stillwaterite, but decided against it. If she ended up being wrong, she didn't want to alarm them or waste their time. Right. She was in Negaspace, and it wouldn't be hard to find someone else.

And it wasn't.

Sometime later, Harmotome's form appeared in the area of the city that was largely abandoned and filled with warehouses. Another Captain accompanied her. He had been somewhat easy to bully with her intimidating presence, and well. He was kind of whiny. Dedinite was his name or something, she didn't really care. He followed like a good little b***h should and that was all that mattered. Harmotome had force fed him some bull s**t about patrolling the area because of an increase in senshi activity, and he went along with it, wanting to be helpful for the Negaverse.

Whatever.

As soon as she appeared in the area though, it was wrong.

"...What is that?" The other Captain asked, sounding nothing sort of baffled. "That feels like an increase in Chaos activity! Not Order!"

Harmotome growled. "Vell! Let us go look!" She snapped, and started to head in the direction the pull seemed to be coming from, red eyes alert.

Pixie Nyxie

It was a sickening sense of deja vu. It was like the episode in the Rift again, except far worse. She knew what the snakes meant. They were gathering, and Pyrophanite...no, the youma had far too long on it's own to put this together. To wreck havoc. Harmotome never thought too much of Chaos would be a bad thing, but it was. Here, it was. Her lips curled in disgust at the snake youma she stepped around and over, only getting bigger in size the closer they got.

"Captain Harmotome---" Came the shrill and somewhat panicked cry from behind her. "This is ridiculous---whatever it is. We should head back right this moment and---"

Harmotome whirled around, and she grabbed the other Captain by the collar. Dark hands fisted tightly into the material as she got right in his face. "You are not going anyvhere." She hissed. "No. Vhere. Ve are going to scout out this mess---" Against better judgement. She had to see the center of it though, before she could do anything else. Couldn't run back to report...not when it meant something bad might happen to her General because higher ups didn't want to deal with a prolonged mess. "And then ve vill go. If you vant to argue, I vill punch your starseed out your body right this moment."

Dedinite looked the utmost appalled and offended. "Are you threatening me---"

"It is a promise. Now move." She growled, shoving the young man.

It wasn't hard to get into the warehouse. Not when the snakes needed to get in and out obviously. Her skin wanted to crawl, especially when the youma would watch her. He knew they were there. He just had to. The energy radiating from this place was so strong, she couldn't pick out his signature...

While it reeked over all, once inside the warehouse, it felt like it was concentrated right beneath them. A snake slithered over her boot, and Harmotome kicked it to send it flying before snarling and looking down at the floor. Below...did this thing have a basement? She looked at the youma that slithered to and fro, and after a moment could see that they were indeed heading towards a specific area of the warehouse and disappearing.

s**t.

"PYROPHANITE!" The Captain boomed after a moment, earning a startled gasp from the other squicked out Captain. "I know you are in here! Come out!" Harmotome paused, waiting, eyes darting back and forth to watch for any signs of change.

Harmotome ignored the way Dedinite was clinging to her, his hands clenching the jacket of her uniform tightly behind her. Her glare was on the large boa that appeared, and the apprehension she was feeling was starting to make her blood boil. The captain summoned her short spear, and pointed it at the boa.

"No games!" She snarled. "Come out you over-sized vorm! That body is not your's and it vill be returned!"

Dedinite whimpered, because during his time in the Negaverse he had never seen anything like this---that youma could do, and clearly no one was in control.

"Captain Harmotome, we should leave."

It did happen too quickly. With all the chaos pulsing here, she couldn't get a read on his signature, and thus had no idea where he was. Not until he was right beside her. Her bangs rustled from the motion of the General's arm going through the other captain's chest, and Harmotome's eyes went impossibly wide as the body hit the ground, and was consumed by the other youma.

Eyes darted to the General, and she saw that starseed disintegrating in his mouth.

The pain currently in her gut from the sight, from what would happen if anyone found out, was far, far worse than the General actually hitting her. It didn't matter if the youma was in control. Pyrophanite had just killed a fellow agent. She felt like she'd been slammed in the gut, and couldn't suck in any breath. Harmotome's body was currently locked in shock, but the thought that cut through her stupor was that she needed to move or she'd join him.

The captain used her strength to leap back and away, putting some distance between her and the General. She nearly slipped on some other snake youma, but righted herself. Her chest started to heave as she stared at him, wild eyed.

"Pyrophanite---you just killed a captain!" Her pitch was shrill, clogged with disbelief and terror---not for herself, or for even the poor b*****d that had died because she had dragged him here. It was for the General, who would surely be dead himself if any higher ups found out what was going on here. "This needs to stop or you vill die too!"

She knew she didn't stand a chance here. Hell, it was why she had vainly attempted to bring in another agent...and she had just seen how that went. No, even if thinking wasn't her forte, she knew what needed to be done, because she would be leaving to tell. Had actually, carefully, made sure not to expend her energy for an emergency pinch teleport.

Pyophanite had friends after all. Luckily, more powerful friends than her current level. Someone who could, hopefully, do something to help him before anyone else found out what was going on here. Harmotome's lips curled into a soundless snarl at the fact she had to leave him there to retreat, but it had to be done.

The captain's form blinked out of sight, escaping the curling snakes and the hand as she made it back to Negaspace.
