The secret mission that Pyro had lied about had been housing up in the basement of one of the old warehouses in the business district. Heat lamps surrounded the whole floor, so that he could move with ease. Littered across the floor, and he wasn't sure when they got there, was small snake youma's. They varied in sizes, from small garden snakes, to the longer boa's that you saw in the amazon.
They weren't powerful really, but they came because the one that woke in Pyro was. Children, is what Mamushii called them and when Pyro struggled on nights with the snake, and it took control, the smaller youma fell in line and hunted.
The small pool of chaos energy in the warehouse should've been warning enough, to those of the powered life, and it was perhaps why he hadn't been attacked yet. He'd like to think.
And yet sometimes Pyro slept and he'd wake up covered in starseeds and energy orbs and not remember what they were. That all piled up in the corner and soon enough he had enough of a stash.
"What more do you want...." Pyro's body burned, burned, burned. And the snake demanded hunting, so that's what he did. He left the warehouse, out into the streets. Find someone, find the senshi, find the knights. Someone, someone.
Kill them.

The woman walking down the streets fiddled with her jacket buttons, longer fingers fumbling at chunky black hunks of plastic. Vic King was a plain looking woman on the older side, with dark hair and darker, tired eyes dressed in casual business attire. She'd walked this way thousands of times, and wasn't too worried, even as reports of weird things nearby got passed around at work. She was convinced they were ghost stories, stuff bored young people told each other. Vic took her jacket off, folding it over the purse she slung on her shoulders, and continued on her way. It was much too warm for the blazer now. She'd put it back on once she was inside, where there was blessed air conditioning. The steps of her sensible pumps against the sidewalk was a steady beat, click, clack, click, clack. She walked, unaware. Pixie Nyxie lemme know if you need any changes <3

It had been too easy. the small snake youma's dropped from his body, into the ground and out into the street. She had been alone. In the wrong side of the neighborhood.
Wasn't that how it always went? She wasn't too old, or too young. Her starseed had the right amount of life in it. The ancient youma in him rose and rose until there was no longer Pyrophanite, but Mamushii.
For the woman, even as the click clack of her heels echoed into the silent streets, it was followed by the hiss of the small snakes. One by one, they would appear under feet, slithering past her and around.

A strange noise, like the hiss of gas led Vic to look to her feet. She saw one snake and jumped, gasping, startled by the sudden appearance of the small snake. "It's just a snake Vic, what are you-" she cut herself off as she saw another, and another. Slithering underfoot without any fear as she slowed down. What kind of snake...? Part of her wanted to think logically, perhaps she stepped past a nest, or maybe these were babies that got lost. Garter snakes maybe, she remembered they often gathered together. But... garters weren't supposed to be aggressive, were they? The hissing noise creeped her out. She had to run. Something was wrong. Vic could feel it deep within her, like some ancient primal fear. She gripped her purse closer and started walking faster, breaking into a run as she tried to avoid the small masses of snakes as they encroached and surrounded her. Pixie Nyxie tired of these ******** snakes......

The snakes almost disappeared as she ran, and in the darkness the hissing faded to low distant sound. It was funny to the youma pirating the generaj's body how humans reacted to the smallest things.
They always had the fear built in them, he could smell her's on the tip of his tongue. Pyrophanite's mouth wasn't forked like his original form was but it was still the snake inside him that had that sense.
Just as Pyro suffered from heat vision, Mamushii could see much more defined. Like black and white. The slow steps on the park would come across the figure and he would tilt the hat back, blue eyes framed by auburn curls smiling at her.
"Are you okay ma'am?" It was easy to pretend to be human when he struggled with Pyro to do it all the time. He desperately wanted to sink a hand in her chest and rip the starseed away but Mamushii knew the greater the fear, the more delicious.
Snakes appeared again, curling around his feet and hissing.

Looking back, Vic saw nothing. The hisses faded to nothing and she slowed long enough to catch her breath. She was no marathon runner, after all. She clutched her chest, breathing hard. "Oh lord..." she muttered to herself. Was she imagining snakes now? Her heart beat powerfully in her chest, racing even as she turned to a voice. A human. She sighed again. Vic would normally be more wary of a strange man when she was alone like this, but part of her worried she was losing her mind. "I-I'm okay, I think..." she started, running a hand into her hair as she looked at the face of the man in front of her. Her face contorted in a mixture of confusion and lingering fear. "I swear I saw a bunch of snakes, like something from a movie... "

The hissing dispersed now that Pyro had the woman close to her. It was tempting to play with her, watch her run. The youma inside her always liked a good chase.
He grinned under the hat before removing it and looking at her.
"They been growing around these partsssss" The hiss came out, "from every dark corner of the night. Ansssswering their masssstersss call." He waited.
"you shouldn't talk to ssssstrngers Ma'am." He waited, "We're all snakes in the grasss aren't we??" The light hit his face, a teenage boys face halo'd by auburn curls, scales and reptilian eyes. purplerosesbeauty god sorry for these long pauses for tags, recently injured my back and my muse has plummeted
