Basic Information

The weapon is essentially a modified MP5, designed specifically to use subsonic 147 grain (9.7 gram) ammunition with an integrated suppressor and muzzle break, and capable of having a grenade launcher attached, specifically the M203. Traveling at 330 m/s, the pistol cartridges are subsonic, that is below the supersonic level that creates a supersonic crack, which keeps the weapon unusually quite. The weapon's muzzle flash is also contained within the suppressor, which helps absorb the resulting gunpowder and expanding gases which typically result in most of the noises of the cartridge. The firearm can fire standard 9mm ball ammunition or other cartridges, such as the overpressure +P 9mm 3.5 gram armor piercing rounds or other overpressure cartridges. such as the 124 grain round. Typically the firearm utilizes the subsonic rounds, overpressure armor piercing 9mm rounds (either Russian or american in design), or 9mm +P+ 124 grain hollow points, typically used by hostage rescue teams. In this way, the firearm is capable of firing a broad array of specialty cartridges, making it more effective standard 9mm ball rounds, which it can still fire. Without subsonic rounds the firearm is still quite loud, but hearing safe and easier to use in enclosed spaces without being noticed. The rounds generate 530, 860, and 740 joules respectively, for the 147 grain (9.6 gram) sub-sonic round, 3.5 gram armor piercing round, and 124 grain (8.1 gram) +P+ hollow point cartridge.
