Nicodemus was curled up, under a bush near some apartments, watching the building. He was GUARDING it, obviously, just in case some nefarious activity occurred. Or someone looked sad and lonely and he could help them. Either was something he would take care of!

Though, if he was honest with himself, he wasn't sure what all he could do if the first situation occurred. He did not have a court he was part of, or a Senshi he was friends with to call on... And he wasn't much of a fighter, so what could one small, lonely guardian do? He didn't know, but for the moment... He was On Guard. He'd figure it out if the situation came up. And if the second happened, well he'd go right up to that poor sad person and try to snuggle into them and purr them into happiness.

As he lay there, he tried to hide the fact that his tail was drooping, because the honest fact was... He was alone, and lonely. He envied any guardian who had a home, and a Senshi they were bonded to. He wanted that for himself, and he was SURE he'd get it.

He just didn't know how.

Nico's head popped up, startled, not expecting anyone to see him, let alone speak to him. He was under a bush! Bushes hid him from people, it worked all the time, how did...

Oh.

Ohhhhhhh this was another cat. Well that was a totally different story. Of course the other cat had seen him. Cats saw things more clearly.

He considered, his ears flickering for a moment as he considered the stranger, his eyes looking them over for a long moment, then he put his whiskers forwards, though in a slightly shy way.

"Ah. Hello. I am... I am ok. I am just being a Good Guardian and Guarding this Building!" His tone, despite his best efforts, sounded more then a little desperate. "And how are you?"

He hoped he was hiding his loneliness and distress, but he had the most uncomfortable feeling that he was, in fact, failing at doing that.
