It wasn't clear how Nereid gained a companion friend during her travels of the nightly raiding of Destiny City, but here he was, patrolling along with her like they were best buds.
To be honest though, that was the kind of teammates she needed! Ones that would just randomly join and fight along with her and then she can call on them like she needed or vice versa! Like the buddy games on mobile and stuff.
Though she had yet to hear back from Hermes.
"So what kind of trouble do we seek out tonight Wendell, adventurer of the kitties?"

As far as Wendell was concerned, they were best buds. The bestest buds to ever bud and that was that. Nereid was exactly his sort of person, the cheerful, energetic, enthusiastic sort that did well with a cat who was simultaneously adventurous and joyous at almost all hours of the day.
"Perhaps we'll find ourselves some damsels in distress!" Wendell declared, leaping lightly onto the nearby low brick wall and trotting along beside the senshi. "Or perhaps we'll find ourselves some lads in distress! Lads can also be in distress. Perhaps we'll stumble upon some thieving minds intent on wreaking havoc that we must put an end to before anything terrible happens!"
He jumped nimbly over a small potted plant and continued walking, the coins around his neck jingling a little.
"What say you, fair maiden? Are you aware of anything that is happening that we can attend to?"
