Sarah Seoldeughada Sen's Neice, Highschool Student
Waking up with a jolt to the sound of a loud CRACK, Sarah freaked out when she didn’t hear the sound of her Aunt singing in the kitchen or when she didn’t smell the pancakes she makes every morning. “Maybe she went out,” Sarah told herself. “And maybe that noise was just..Sen crashing the Toyota into the garage door by accident? Yeah, that’s it.”Sarah didn’t want to leave her room yet; what if it was too dangerous? For all she knew either a burglar got in and it was waiting for her, or her only family was perfectly fine and she was merely overeaccting.
Not a minute later after being in deep thought, Sarah knew something wasn’t right. The longer she waited, the less of an opportunity she had to save Sen IF, and only if, she was in real danger. Otherwise, Sarah would have just gone back to sleep. Still half asleep, however, Sarah quickly slipped on some casual clothes, pacing around her bedroom contemplating if she should walk out or not, and finally, she decided to take the leap of faith and open her room door.
Before she took a step out the door she checked the clock: 10:30 it said. She was late to school! “Great,” she thought out loud, “this better not be a sick joke or I'll be mad.”Sarah took two steps out the door. Looking left and right, she saw everything in its place. Nothing had been moved or blown up, yet she couldn’t see the car in the driveway. Her guess must have been right… Sen did go out to the store.
Sarah raced downstairs to see if Sen left a note like she always did. But nothing. Zilch, nada. “What’s going on?”She asked herself, feeling quite nervous to be all alone. She was beginning to think something went terribly wrong and that cracking sound was no accident. Not– at– all. One of the beams on the hallway ceiling was cracked. The moments that followed felt like an eternity, until she heard a car pull up. It was Sen. She walked in with a bag of groceries. "Sen! Sen! I was so worried about you!" Sarah exclaimed, grappling her Aunt in a warm hug. "We're going to be late for school." As she spoke, she began helping with the groceries.

Sen woke up obviously much earlier than Sarah did. She had one heck of a night, and she wasn't much of a morning person. But the nightmare Sen had convinced her it was a good idea not to go back to sleep. Covered in sweat, Sen decided it was best to take a shower before putting on her favorite tank top and denim shorts. It was against the dress code, but she didn't care. “Yeah, I am NOT dying of heat stroke today..” Sen retorted as she stared at her school uniform laid out on her recliner. Exiting her bedroom, her adrenaline was still high- causing her to morph into a dragon partly before forcing herself to calm down. “Cool it, Sen.” She told herself before making her way downstairs.
Once down, she noticed there was a lack of food. With her mind foggy, she forgot to write a note before going to the store. “Dang, I hope Sarah won't freak out.” she thought out loud, “She's going to be so upset. Sen added as she drove away in her Toyota.
Once she was done with the shopping, Sen raced home to see Sarah- terrified. “I'm so sorry. I was tired this morning and forgot to write you a note. We should really look into getting some phones.” She greeted, placing the groceries on the counter. "We'll have to fix the beam too." Sarah added. Nevertheless, Sen felt her niece's warm embrace. "I'll go back and get the car started." She replied, stroking Sarah's head before leaving
