I don't watch a lot of TV but I really liked the last season of Twin Peaks.

Did you watch the original series and Fire Walk With Me? I have to warn you that it is pretty weird! A lot closer to Fire Walk With Me than it is to the original series. It will test your patience but I loved it! If you like David Lynch's work after Twin Peaks, then you will like it a lot!

Also! You should check out the book, The Secret History of Twin Peaks.

The Secret History is builds on all the lore of Twin Peaks. It connects the small northwestern town to everything from Louis and Clark and underground civilizations to UFOs and L Ron Hubbard. The audiobook is a full cast recording, which is pretty neat.

The Return is sort of like all of that stuff if it were filtered through David Lynch's bizarre sensibilities. Again: I loved it but it's not for everybody.

I did watch the original with my mum soooo long ago as a kid. While I don't remember specifics I remember it being weird, but my mom liked it so I did too. LoL. I love David Lynch - he is a genius. Ever seen Mulholland Drive?? What a mind flip.
