It had been a while now since he'd sliced his paw open and been helped by such a kind female. Moyo had yet to get his crystal charm replaced since the incident and had opted to stop wearing his crystals in general for the time being. He was perfectly happy going to the crystal healing sessions to get his exposure there thank you very much.

Tonight he was aiming to get a good look at this 'glowing ocean' others had been whispering about. It was very rare that Moyo would venture outside during the evenings as he preferred the comforts and safety of the caverns these days. Some days he'd venture out to the silver beaches to lay out and sun bathe but nothing more extreme than that.

There seemed to be some one already having had the same idea as himself who looked vaguely familiar. Curious, Moyo proceeded towards Msimu.

"... Hey" His voice was small and unsure as he approached.

Msimu remembered him which Moyo found comforting. He'd been a shell of a lion for a good deal of his adult life due to the guilt he had felt with his family.

"Good to see you as well Msimu. I believe the paw will do fine. I am walking okay," While that was true it was still telling that he was not wearing his crystal charms around his neck. Slicing his paw opened had been a very unpleasant experience.

All thoughts were dropped the moment Msimu touched her paw to the water.The illuminating water was dazzling and sparked a lot of curiosity in Moyo.

"So the whispers in the caverns are true.... The water glows... " He looked on with a cub like wonder that some how didn't fit his features properly. The brown lion took a few steps closer to dip his own paw in the water and watch as it sparked a reaction of glowing blue only to back away.

"I ... I have never seen anything quite like this... Under the haze of insanity even I don't remember seeing anything quite so ... whimsical.." There had been a slip of the tongue and Moyo had revealed a bit of his past whether he realized it or not.

"Lehlwa did a fine job ," He held the injured paw out as proof. There were no obvious markings where he'd sliced his paw opened only a small slightly discolored line that seemed to be fading quickly. "I'm quite impressed with the healing knowledge she possesses. "

It dawned on him when she brought up the insanity maybe he'd over shared. Guilt had his ears flatten and he backed a little away from Msimu his eyes darting to the side so that he wasn't fully looking at her face.

"Haze of insanity .. " He forgot that other prides may think negatively on this. "I come from a pride that once celebrated muses. The entire pride was under some sort of ... effect that caused lions to ... well the mind... Insanity you see.. Umm. Well the effect wore off after a while." There was a lot more to the story but the broad strokes were there at the very least.

"I could not bring the insanity with me if I tried... It was something that was stuck to the lands I once lived in." He offered a faint smile. His ears were still flatly pinned to his skull and his head hung low. He hoped he'd not alienated him self from Msimu.

He was sure he had disappointed Msimu but when she stepped with him and even extended a gesture to pat him on the back he felt oddly calm. Moyos family had turned their back on him for how distance he'd been during the time of insanity and he'd never been able to regain their forgiveness or trust. His actions were not his own under the veil of insanity and the forgiveness he sought was to never be.

So the gesture of kindness was soothing on many levels he'd never fully be able to fully communicate with Msimu.

"No." The males answer was quick to her question. Moyo didn't have to think about it. "The insanity was never what I sought. I had sought a safe haven for a family and instead things got out of hand and .... others got hurt." He sighed, "It is why I sought the rumors of a pride with the knowledge of crystal healing."

Moyo let out a deep sigh as he knew the words of wisdom Msimu spoke were true. He was going to have to learn that actions in the past were forgivable but first he needed to forgive himself. The chocolate lion closed his eyes for a moment before opening.

"It'll be a journey but I know I'll -..." He stopped mid sentence and blinked at Msimu. Was it that obvious the lack of crystals around his neck. A grin creeped up on his maw and he shook his head no.

"Oh no no no. I ..." There was a chuckle, "Well you see I had a lovely lioness trip over me and There was a shard and blood and now you see I am a tad afraid of wearing them." He held his paw out again, "I know its silly and I know they help but I want to wait before wearing them again." In all honesty; he did miss his charms. They had given him a great deal of comfort.

"Have you ever worn a crystal healing charm?"

It was time for Moyos face to flush pink. He shyly looked away for a moment.

"Well... there are plenty of reasons to be afraid of something that can make you bleed but also be so beautiful." He really did miss his charms but the slice had made his paw hurt like nothing else and he wasn't sure he trusted him self with such dangerous things around his neck.

Msimus propitiation was an interesting one though.

"Well. I will... Yeah that is. Um.. Of course. Deal." He held his paw out to hers to seal the deal. And that was that.
