Quote: ”Duckling gone Rogue” Petting zoos with sweet baby animals are, of course, a MUST for the fair! There are so many wee ones, all lovingly cared for. As you pet the cute little sheep one last time, you notice from the corner of your eye that one particular duckling is making its way right out of the fence! Your eyes meet for a brief moment before it quacks and dashes off deeper into the fairground! Save the wee thing and get it back to its mama before it flees to the lake! Terry and his husband had not been back in the States for very long before an interesting event popped up. The Summer Blast School Fair, taking place right on their own campus. While they bother were taking the semester off from actually doing school, it didn't mean they could keep up with the news and in Terry's opinion, this festival had happened at the perfect time. The twins had been slowly getting settled into their new lives outside of South Korea and neither of the new parents had wanted to startle or frighten them badly with a bunch of different activities so soon.
However, since the festival was nearby and on campus the duo planned a family outing. Certain other family members would be hanging around as well so Terry figured at some point they would all end up hanging out for a while, for the entire time, or at the end of the night they would all go out to eat to spend time together if they ended up splitting at said fair. Either way it was a great way to spend time getting closer as a family while letting the twins experience their first American festival first hand.
They had spent some time already exploring what the festival had to offer while making plans on where to end up first, but in the end the first place they ended up was the petting zoo. It wasn't something Terry minded at all and at the moment he was too busy grinning at a happy DaeSu who was petting a lamb while GeonSu was poking at a baby goat's ears which were flopping around to even try to care about any of the other offerings just yet. After all the animals were making their boys happy and that is what mattered.

The fair on their campus grounds offered a lot for their children to do, for them to do as a family, and Seung had taken the time before hand to cover the four of them in sunblock as only an over protective parent could do.
The fair was, as expected, packed full of people. Was there ever a fair or festival, or party of any sort, in this city which was not packed full of people. While they moved through the crowds, each one holding the hand of one of the twins, he managed to glance to his husband and give him a look. Anything in this city he didn't trust, he'd learned not to, and the mouthed words to Terry were a warning to watch out. If anything happened they would get the kids out of here...than handle whatever was happening. The kids came first, they were innocent civilians as well and needed to get out as safely as everyone else.
The petting zoo was not his first choice of things to see, or do, but the twins had other ideas and that why he was watching as GeonSu played with a baby goats ears, which kept flickering. "This is a good introduction to American things." He spoke, looking to his husband. School was still a slow going thing for the twins, who were working on their English skills while learning American culture. They still hadn't gone to the normal grocery store, he thought it might be too much for them. A mall was a bit much as well though. But they did go out shopping with the two of them, and other members of the family, it was just slow going. He didn't want to toss the twins into things too quickly.
"Ohhh....and there goes a baby duck..." He whispered, pointing to the duckling that had gotten away from it's mother and siblings. It was rather cute too...

He had of course caught the look that Seung had thrown his way and had given one right back. He fully agreed that their kids would come first if anything went wrong but he knew they were both hopping nothing would. He would hate for the twins first American festival to be ruined by Chaos, but more importantly he couldn't stand the thought of either or both of them hurt in anyway.
Still so far nothing happen out of the ordinary. At least until Seug caught his attention to point out an escaping baby duck. "Uh oh, it's going to get lost if it keep wandering away." Terry whispered back as he watched the bold little thing start to wiggle it's way to freedom. "If is trouble we help?" GeonSu asked, his new parents whispers having caught his attention and drawn it to the adorable duck. He tried to stick to English to respond but he wasn't sure if he messed up or not. The eight year old took a step closer to his twin and tugged on his sleeve. "Help duck?" he suggested before taking a step towards the little escape attempt. Before the step was completed though, the duck managed to wiggle to the other wide of the fence.

"Lost...that's if it survived. I doubt people will notice it. The crowds are going to run it over." The poor little thing wasn't likely to survive it's great escape, not with so many people running, and walking, all around the fair grounds. A dead baby duck would likely be found at the end of the days events.
"Yes, baby duck is in trouble." Smiling to GeonSu he pointed to the little duck, watching as GeonSu went to his brother to plan a save on the baby duck. It was too late though as the little yellow feathered critter got out and into the crowds. "Terry,we should go get it. All four of us." He said this while already reaching out for one of his sons hands. "Let's go...family duck hunt time."
Another look to his partner as he passed him by. "Come on...time to go play hero and save the baby duck." Before anything happened to it. And you did very well on your English GeonSu." Praising his son as he ruffled his hair gently. They were improving, thankfully little children picked up languages well, he was glad they were doing so well - they made him proud. "Let's keep together so we don't get separated and lost." That was the last thing he wanted, as he was certain they wouldn't hear their cell phone go off if they called each other in this crowd of people.
"Come on." Nodding in the direction the duckling had wandered itself.
