The sewers of Yorknew are more than just a series of pipes that lead out to god knows where - it's actually a bustling network of tunnels where the daily refuse and human waste created daily always ends up. The tunnels are all interconnected somehow, with three different levels, each going deeper underground. It starts out as just going down under a manhole cover, entering in through a wide open sewer gate, or any other creative way you can think of. The sewer is roughly 6m under the surface of Yorknew City. The first level is very typical for a sewer and has adequate lighting. Waterways with concrete paths along the sides and the occasional brides over a waterway. There's a few random entryways to the second level in the form of a ladder leading down a shaft to a much deeper section of the sewers. This section is where the main waterways are located. Unlike the much narrower waterways on the first level, these ones stretch out about 6m wide. There are some waterfalls in the system as well, creating a very strong current in the water. The pathways are also quite a bit wider on the second level as well. There is also much better lighting on this floor. A few pathways here there will lead you lower and lower towards a large metal door. This was put here to as a method of keeping some of the creatures on the other side from getting into the rest of the sewers. The door can be activated simply by pulling a level on the wall to the left of the door. When opened, the doors would swing outward from you to allow passage to the third floor. Inside you would see a single, poorly lit room will will massive piles of refuse. There is no place to move except for over this garbage. Within these mounds are dangerous creatures that not many hunters could handle in a fight. It is said that in the deepest, darkest regions of the sewers there are treasures just waiting to be snatched up as long as you're ready for the super gross adventure.
Dungeon Entry Prerequisites
- "Enter Dungeon" Job Skill must be known
Must have at least 60 Stamina Stat
Must be at least a Level 1 Hunter to enter the dungeon
Must be at least a Level 2 Hunter to enter to reach level 2 of the dungeon
Must be at least a Level 4 Hunter to enter to reach level 3 of the dungeon
Dungeon Delving
I'm going to require whoever is going to submit a form along with a 250 word minimum post of approaching the entrance of the dungeon. Once the mod in charge accepts the form, the mod will make a roll of 1-20 and inform them of the result. You can get hit by a trap, find a chest with an item, find nothing, encounter a smaller enemy than the boss, and whatever else we decide on. Maybe you can find a spring of stamina recovery or something. You'll need it. Cuz I didn't mention yet that each post in a Dungeon takes stamina. On the first level of the dungeon, each post takes only 5 Stamina. On level 2, each post takes 10 Stamina. On the third and final level, each post requires a total of 20 Stamina. In order to advance to the next level, you must roll and get the "Continue!" result twice. Upon reaching the third and final floor, the SUPER RARE ITEM can be found by rolling the "Continue!" result three times or getting a natural 20. In order to leave the dungeon, one must traverse back to the beginning from wherever they are. From the first level, it takes two posts of at least 250 words to advance to the exit. From the second level, it takes a total of 2 posts to return to the first level of the dungeon. From the third level, it takes a total of 3 posts of at least 300 words to return to level 2. This method requires half the stamina cost per post (minimum of 5) per post in the dungeon. If you have just entered a new new level and you wish to go backwards, you may do so and using the method of returning to the entrance for the previous level you just left from. In the example, if you just entered the third level and wished to return to the entrance, you may make the required posts to return to the first level from the second. Note that the moderator in charge is still required to roll after each post you make on your way back to the entrance until you reach that point.
