Sweet and wonderful and full of calories, no fair could be complete without that big ol’ sign up top of a stand screaming out Funnel Cakes!!. You wait in line to grab yours, only to find out that they are all sold out! Luckily, the fair kinda sorta knew this would happen, so on the far side of the fair, there’s another stand! How far are you willing to go to get this fluffy and sugary fair staple?


Accalia was pleased to know that there was a number of foods that she liked here. To be honest her favorite were definitely funnel cakes so she was currently waiting in line to get some of the tasty morsels.

Dark hair hung around her shoulders in slight curls and amber eyes watched as people walked around the area. It was a beautiful day and she was hoping to at least eat a funnel cake if anything else. It was really the only carnival food she enjoyed.

There was someone in line behind her though and she felt like starting up a conversation. "You waiting for Funnel Cakes too?"

Was it weird to talk to strangers in line? Probably, but how would you meet anyone if you didn't though?

"I am most definitely in line to get one. I've had a few here and there over my lifetime and they are just so delicious." When had the last time she had one been? It was hard to recall but it just made her mouth water talking about it. As they slowly moved up the line she glanced around a moment to see if her friends were still where she had last left them, it looked to be that way so she focused her attention back on the girl.

"I'm Accalia, it's nice to meet you."

Ash she slowly moved up the line while talking to the girl behind her she wasn't entirely surprised there were people that hadn't had one before. "I hope you enjoy it! They're quite delicious." She wasn't even sure she could describe the taste if the girl were to ask.

"Oh, that's such a lovely and unique name!" It was true, she'd never heard anyone named Amgiar before, it was lovely. "Do you live around here?" Perhaps she could make a new friend to hang out with.

As she finally got up to order it was a much to her dismay when they said they were sold out at this stand. "Well, couldn't you at least put up a sign next time so people aren't waiting in line for nothing."

With a frown she turned to look at Amgiar, "I guess they're out. Did you want to try and find a different stand with me?" She had seen a few other's located here and there.

She was really going to be heartbroken if she wasn't able to eat a funnel cake by the end of the day. It was really one of the main reasons she came to these things, just to eat the junk food. Not that she ate a whole lot of it while she was at things like this. It would give her a stomach ache if she did that.

Trying to avoid those kinds of things.

Plus the last time she had sweets it turned into a youma and attacked her.

Shaking the thought from her mind she beamed. "Thank you and that's really awesome! I live pretty close to here myself." Though would she move when she started college? She wasn't sure.

"Yea, it is a little disappointing to have waited all this time and come up empty handed." Agreeing with her she smiled when she offered to join her in the hunt!

"Alright! Let's go then and hope our next stand will be more forthcoming with the delicious snack we are trying to partake in!"
