Kain exited the portal and opened the door, the cowl of his hood hiding his mask. He'd guide Nimm into the room while simultaneously opening several more rifts, swords of all types baring the exits and windows. He'd make his way to the head of the table, guiding Nimm to the chair that had been vacated upon his approach. Everyone in the room recognized who he was the moment his cowl was lifted, his crimson eyes glowing and his skull mask gleaming.

"Take a seat, ladies and gentleman." Kain commanded.

Those who listed quickly found even more rifts appearing, blades emerging from them aimed directly at the board members, ready to strike the moment Kain gave the notion. The few that refused to sit would instantly find themselves skewered. Once everyone was seated or otherwise impaled, and Nimm was seating in the chair at the head of the table, Kain would begin to speak.

"My name is Dethblade. For the sake of formalities, you shall refer to me as Sir. The lovely lady sitting here before me is Nimm Rozenthall. I am sure our names ring a bell. Now, let me explain why we're here. The first is to introduce you all to the new COO of this hospital: me. Should any of you so much as grimace at this fact, I will deliver you blissfully into the next world. This is non-negotiable and absolute. You shall all report to me and heed my word. I expect each and every last one of you to prove your worth...else I will dispose of you."

Kain would then place his hands lightly on Nimm's shoulders. "Annette Lafleur shall remain as head of Research and Development. Furthermore, she shall be my second in command. Treat her as you would me, or forfeit your miserable life to the bonds of mercy. Finally...I give you Nimm. What you, each and every one of you, has done to her is inhumane and barbaric. In my opinion you should all be subjected to her gift and left to pass on into a world free of ignorance. But I am only the Executioner. The Judge, Annette, has given me strict criteria on how to go about this, and out Jury, Nimm, will ultimately determine your fate."

Kain would bend down and point to each sword hovering in front of a living executive, numbering it. "If you want them dead, you need only speak that number. As I am a fan of choice, I present you with another: speak the number, and I will hold them down while you plunge the blade into them."

As KAin stood straight again, he'd fold his arms above Nimm's head. "You are being given a choice, ladies and gentlemen. Submit...or die. What say you, and furthermore, what say you when faced with Nimm herself?"

"They are all responsible, Nimm. These are the faces of the construct of your Fate up unto this point." Keeping his hands gently placed upon her shoulders, not to retrain her or anything; she was free to move, but more to let her know there was someone there with her, for her, allied with her. "Annette was a part of this group, Nimm, but Annette was not like them. She had feelings of remorse. And now she is a pinnacle among our Trinity. Everyone has potential, Nimm."

Kain held his hand out and summoned yet another sword, this one just the right size for Nimm to wield, should she wish to take it. "Look at these people, Nimm. They're no gift, no powers. Compared to US, THEY are the ones who are WEAK and FEEBLE. Yet, in their own hubris, they believe themselves to be so much better than you, so superior to you; Kings and Queens dictating the quality of life for the lower-class. But it ends here"

AS security arrived in the room, Kain simply summoned polearms from beneath them, impaling each of the security guards. He'd then turn his attention back to Nimm. "Now is the time to decide; do they deserve a second chance, or have their chances run out? Do as you please, Nimm. There will come no judgement upon you from me."

Kain grinned behind his mask at Nimm's reaction, though he'd quickly grimace as he noted the fatigue in her. Rushing to help her back to the chair, he'd nod at her final judgement and look to the pleading individuals throughout the room. "This is where your lives come to and end, ladies and gentlemen." As he spoke, the sword would drive themselves into each individual at an agonizingly slow speed. "You've lived lives and cruelty and deceit, but rejoice in the fact that your transgressions will not follow you into the next life." He then looked down to Nimm, his eyes gleaming brightly. "In your name, Nimm, I purge the wasteful souls from our plain." With that, the swords would immediately drive themselves hilt-deep into each person.

As the swords vanish, Kain pushed one body aside to look at the holographic screen in front of him. He'd begin swiping and tapping away. "Perhaps a sword is not the best fit for you, Nimm. I counterbalanced the weight, but failed to take into account your fatigue...perhaps something light that you could pass your gift through? But what..." He pondered as he began hacking his way into sound and media stations.

"You and the doctor seem to have an interesting relationship. You both possess an admirable level of wisdom and foresight as well; your alliance with me is proof of this. As for what I am doing..." Kain removed a small circular object and plugged it into the table. A spark would occur, and all of the loudspeakers and screens - not just in the hospital, but in the city - would turn on. Kain then removed a small floating camera, both objects stored in his pocket dimension, and let the item float and record him, broadcasting him city-wide.

"Hello ladies and gentlemen. Some of you may know me from the visage of my posters proclaiming me a villain, but I am here to show you all that I am a hero of unrivaled status." Kain moved to stand behind Nimm once again. "This is a patient here at Grace of Nocturnal, Nimm Rozenthall. What you may see as a fragile girl is all an illusion, for what truly resides before us all is salvation. It is not Nimm that is sick, ladies and gentlemen. It is the world. It is mankind, all of us. But Nimm can cleanse that pestilence with her touch! She can grant infinite mercy to those who suffer and writhe."

"To be blunt, ladies and gentlemen, I have taken over this hospital. Those who resist will meet the edge of my blade, and while that may seem like a cruel ultimatum, the truth is that we've no time for those that would impede the progress of saving the world. Under my guidance, with Nimm's aid, we. Will. Have. Peace."

"I am not here to ruin your lives, ladies and gentlemen. I am here to ensure that, while you are forced to endure the cruelty of life, you encounter as little sadness and sorrow as possible. But in order to do that, we must all work together. So I make these two declarations: the first is that I must have a peacekeeping force. Those interested should report to the hospital. The second is that any transgressions against peace should be reported to me immediately; access channel or frequency 0 on any device, and your message will be received."

"In short, ladies and gentlemen, I am Dethblade, Acting Superior of Nocturnal. If you truly wish to debate this fact, well. I've given you all a means to contact me. I am more than willing to prove me strength as your leader, and as your leader, I make you, my denizens, this promise: Nocturnal shall became a Haven for Peace!"

Kain then looked to Nimm. "Care to say a few words, Hero of Chaos?"

"I will add one more thing to this broadcast. Treatment here at Grace of Nocturnal is now free. No more shall you weigh between your health and anything else. If you are sick, come to us. Farewell for now, ladies and gentlemen." Kain spoke before turning off the camera and ceasing the broadcast. He'd banish the instruments previously pulled from his pocket dimension back to them, then take a seat next to Nimm.

"My apologies for springing that event on you, but I needed you to be as sincere as possible." He'd face her for a moment, starring at her from behind the mask. "To the heart seeking freedom, this hospital is a cage, surrounded by water. It's time for you to set sail." He'd place a hand on her knee, and while the mask muffled his voice, a hint of warmth could still be detected. "Where can I take you first? Do you want to see luscious green trees and forest life, or waves of blue water pouring off of the rocks into a lake? Perhaps a city in the clouds?" He'd chuckle. "Once per week, I will use my power to its fullest extent and take you wherever in the galaxy you wish. Think on it."

Kain would then stand and head for the door. "I suppose we should acquaint ourselves with our new home while we await word from Dr. Lafluer?"

"Then let's begin with the Research Room. You'll have some time to decide just where you want me to take you...oh, and one other thing." He noticed the smile on her face, causing something inside of him to feel warm again for the first time in a very long time. It prompted him to make her a promise as well. "I promise to leave this mask of mine behind when we travel together. Dethblade is my identity...Kain is my alias. We don't need my identity hindering your adventures now do we?"

He'd then open a portal to the research lab and shift them both through by moving the portal, leaving them sitting in their respective chairs. It was more to see if he could manipulate the portals in such a way; he was still acclimating to his own power. And it was at this point he'd hear the spell in his ears, causing him to grip Nimm's knee. "Stay alert, listen to my voice. You are here, with me. Time progresses. The clock has not stopped. You exist here, now, with me. Can you hear me, Nimm?" He asked, a little shaken.

Kain would release Nimm and look around. "That was a psychic attack, one that effects a large area. Let's find out just who made that attack on us..." The eyes of the Dethblade mask would flash, and several portals would begin to open, one by one, eventually revealing Migoto and Risa.
