When Larissa had been looking for senshi or knights to take her to their objects and wonders, she had still been surprised when a squire had offered to take her to their Wonder. Anakeion was the name. Larissa had never me the squire and so had no real idea as to what to expect. She knew that Wonders were on certain celestial objects, and that the knights were from the Prince and Princess senshi that had reached past eternal, if what Alphubel had said was true, and she wondered what type of knight Anakeion was.

Well, there was only one way to find out and Larissa made sure to accept the offer.

So now she was on her way to the planned meeting spot of the two, where Anakeion could take her. She wondered what the Wonder would be like. Were they the things that made stars, moons, meteors, etc. what they were? Was it better to have knights? She didn't really know. However, she soon approached the spot and found someone with purple hair waiting for her. Since they were the only one around and had a squire aura, she assumed this was Anakeion. She went to greet the other. "Hey! I'm Larissa. You're Anakeion right? Thanks so much for allowing me to go with you to your Wonder!"

Anakeion didn't mind taking anyone to her Wonder, as long as she scheduled it, and therein usually laid the problem - she wasn't the type to schedule things. (Hell, most of the time she only figured out her Wonder-travel cooldown was up was when she mumbled the oath to herself and didn't get a mental feeling not dissimilar to looking at a locked door. It was not exactly a science. It probably could have been, but she didn't care enough for that.) Still, every once in a while she could muddle her way through her abject laziness to help someone else out, and Larissa was getting her good deed of the month.

Or the week. It depended on how much sugar she'd had and how charitable she was capable of feeling that day.

"Yep! Anakeion of Castor, and before you ask - no, Castor's not in the solar system, and yes, he's a Royal currently running around DC." The Squire shrugged, hopping to her feet. "If you weren't gonna ask that, sorry, but enough people go 'hey who the ******** is Castor' so now I just preempt the questions. You ready?"

Larissa liked the other's attitude. Or at least the fact that Anakeion didn't seem to take any s*** from anyone. "Glad to meet you Anakeion. I haven't met any other knights besides my boyfriend so I'm happy that I get to meet with you. And that you're willing to take me to my Wonder. I know it's not the same thing as a planet, but I still wanted to get a look before going to my own moon. See what might be in store for me, you know?" She assumed that the other had been at this longer that she had and that Castor had some more life to it than her planet would, but at least she could get an idea.

She grinned. "I'm ready when you are!" And she was. She didn't really have questions otherwise, if she wanted, she could either ask her boyfriend about where Castor was located or she could look it up on the internet.

Anakeion bit her lip, a moment of brief distraction; as much as she was glad Larissa had taken an interest, there was still a nagging moment of doubt, of this is my place and mine alone, she doesn't belong there, she doesn't get to see -- it was hardly a thought of Amynta's, so it was this lifetime's alone, and it discomforted her. Was she really that sort of person, to be that surreal brand of selfish?

Well, it didn't matter, not really. If she didn't think about it, it wasn't true at all. Ignorance was bliss! "Uh, I need contact for this, probably, so I'm not grabbin' your hand to be a creeper or whatevs. I swear." One hand locked fingers tight against Larissa's, and the other took a tight grip on her shortstaff, eyes half-lidded with meditation, with concentration -- "I pledge my life and loyalty to Castor, and to Anakeion. I humbly request your aid, so that in return I may give you mine." (She said it with the sort of fealty normally reserved for prayers. It meant more than it was, heavy roots of it tied deep under her skin, flashes of a world she'd never really know because she was a thousand years too late to wake. It brought other questions, sometimes -- had there been other Anakeions, in that thousand years, hers by blood but not by spirit? Had they died? It was a pain, to linger on those things, but sometimes they set up links deep in her chest and sat there for days on end until she cried it out.)

It was only half-a-second, the feeling of movement, but they were there.

Doubled twin suns laid overhead in the cool sky, growing-grass and stone underneath their feet; the two of them stood at the entrance to Anakeion, arching walls overhead, columns and pillars where they had always been. The pathway they rested on was cracked-through with disrepair, and Anakeion tsked at it, rolling her eyes as she tugged Larissa through the frontway into the temple proper - arching lines and crumbling walls prevailed.

"It used to be a big place -- can see that when I get visions -- but, uh. Ain't an architect, so I just kinda fix up what I can and hope I'm not committing crimes against nature. At least some'f it fixes itself when I'm gone if I'm dutiful or whatever..."

Larissa let Anakeion grab her hand. She knew the drill a little bit at this point, even if she had barely gone anywhere else at this point. It's not as though they were beaming like in Star Trek after all.

The familiar feeling of being moved suddenly, and then stopping, and Larissa was able to open her eyes. Larissa's eyes widened as they saw the entrance. "Wow! Looks adventurous!" She said, turning to Anakeion. "Or at least like I want to explore it. I think it looks good though." She really did. Though anything was better than seeing her moon for now. Though, if there had been blood or something everywhere, that would be different.

"Do you come here often?" Larissa knew that there were only certain times when senshi and knights could go to their wonders or celestial objects. But once she got to Eternal, if her moon was nice enough, then she would be going as often as she could!

Anakeion shrugged. "It was in preeeetty shitty shape the first time I got here, but, y'know, dunno what else I would've expected, considerin' the place has been abandoned for like one-K years?" She pronounced the K loud and clear and craned her head back to look at the roof -- yep, still collapsed in on itself in at least two corners, same as the last time she'd checked. Seemed the place only wanted to fix itself up so much, and the rest of it was left to strength and more strength.

It was kind of a workout routine. She tried not to think of it like that, mostly because Anakeion knew the moment she thought of something as being productive she'd instantly stop wanting to do it, but the results were what they were: she'd gained muscle since she'd started clearing her Wonder and waking up her memories, the only remaining ghosts of people infinitely long-dead. "I come here like once a month or whatever and hang out for about a day? If I disappear for sixteen hours, twenty-four hours, I can just tell my fam I'm hanging out with friends for the day and also my phone's gonna be off for, like. Reasons."

"Shouldn't expect anything amazing then when I first visit my planet it seems. At least I won't be disappointed if I don't hold my expectations too high!" She replied, wondering what Anakeion looked like when it was 'worse'. Oh well, no point in asking though. Larissa nodded to the other. "That's understandable. Or at least it's not too suspicious. Maybe when I'm finally out of the house I'll be able to stay out longer. I already have to sneak out if I want to stay out later." And it was for capturing photos more than anything. She hated having such a curfew.

"Is there anything you do here in particular other than clean the place up? Like you come here to relax or something and get away from everything?" If the Wonder was habitable enough, then it could easily be a nice place to stay from time to time. She knew that Alphubel sometimes used his Wonder as a place to study where he wouldn't be distracted.

"Yeah, but that's, like, a planet," Anakeion stressed, "not a temple? Or an asteroid or a comet or whatevs, who knows. That's a way bigger area, so you probably have way more stuff lying around." She tossed her staff aside into the grass without even looking. It'd still be there, probably? And if it wasn't, it wasn't as if it'd be a problem. This was her place; nothing else could intrude, nothing else could be here, without her blessing and her allowance. The only ghosts here were memories (probably).

"I could probably relax, but I don't come here that much? So it feels silly to come here and not do something, y'know? And I'd keep wondering if I was being haunted the entire time." Ghosts were probably real, Anakeion figured. Magical girls and reincarnation and sentient human aliens were real, why not one more? She didn't have any concrete proof about it, of course, but she wasn't exactly sure about it anyways. It was more of a hunch.

She tapped her foot, then, hesitant to move on yet, feeling like there was some sort of ceremony or some sort of regality she was supposed to give Larissa -- but nothing came to mind. If there was a memory about that, she'd yet to unlock it yet.

"C'mon, though! There's this one area that I think used to be a dorms or somethin', I've gotten most of it cleaned up by now!" Grinning, she took off at a leisurely pace, gesturing behind her to imply Larissa's passage and following. "It looks better than the rest of this place, or at least it's, like, the most comfortable -- " and on and on she went, chattering away, filling the empty space and empty air with words to drive any fear away.
