Physical Description: Avi DesignWhile not very tall, Andrestia still cuts a rather memorable figure, looking similar to her father and elder half brothers in striking perfection. She has long blonde hair with blue to almost lavender colored eyes framed by pale skin and long blonde lashes. Bearing a petite frame she easily gets mistaken for being younger than her age or commented on looking more like a doll. While she tends to dress in anything that makes her look at least slightly older she does have a fondness of cute clothing on others.
Personality: Andrestia always puts her best foot forward, she knows that hard work is the only way to get to the top so she puts all of her time and effort into whatever task she is given. She spends a lot of time practicing, training, even when she doesn’t need to she is doing what she can to improve herself and while that is beneficial for the weyr it tends to give the impression to others that she is better than they are. If anyone puts pressure on Andrestia it is herself, she tends to believe or feels that she has to be the best at what she does, if she makes a mistake or even fails in the slightest then she stresses and frets over it. She becomes very concerned in trying to either fix it or to be better at it, even if that means spending all of her free time in improving her skills. While she isn’t above asking for help she does have a hard time admitting to her downfalls, she wants to seem perfect to others in order to recognized or at least appreciated by others as if to give herself worth as there is a constant fear she isn’t good enough.
That goes for showing emotion, she tends to keep everything neatly tucked away, place under the same rather frowning like expression to keep anyone else from knowing how she feels. While she does her best to be polite or at least seemingly respectful it’s rare to see her beyond having the same serious expression and even rare to see her laugh. It makes it hard for her to reach out to others, to give them compliments, or even do things that are for the most part fun. In turn she finds it awkward to talk to others, that is beyond her passion of dragons and training. Just chatting or making friends is a bit hard for her, she tends to listen and keep her mouth shut then say anything and her skills on giving advice is either too straightforward or has nothing to do with the situation.
While she may be awkward with others, and tends to come across to most as cold she would stand up for anyone who needed it. Beyond the realm of the fear of failing she is rather brave when it comes to any other situation, if it meant facing someone twice her size she would do it and then do anything not to fail. If it was handling a quest or situation that most would turn from she would go forward, she would won’t back down from it not matter what and would power through it while thinking of every possible solution for it. Andrestia is rather clever as well, her mind runs like a machine always trying to think of better ways, or how something goes, and what is the best course of action.

History: Andrestia was a result of a gold flight meet-up between the bronze rider A’es and her mother who bore a similar look to his previous lover. Her father being disappointed to find that she was a girl, gave little to no particular interest to her well being and left her in her mother’s care only providing any necessities when needed or asked. Even though he had no interest in her Andrestia wanting nothing more than his approval and has always looked up to him and her brothers even from afar against her mother’s wishes. Even though her mother insisted on her learning the same trade as her Andrestia wanted to be a rider, someone great, great enough that her father wouldn’t be disappointed in her and finally acknowledge her with the rest. Every chance she got she would watch the riders, try to learn what she could, how to fight, she would bother her mother’s clients who came in about them anything to learn more. There was a lot of teasing from the other weyrbrats, as if some unwanted kid could even be a rider, or a gold rider at that not that it slowed her down. As soon as she was old enough to be a candidate she joined hoping to gain her father’s eye.
