Bestiary

    This is a compendium of all types of enemy that can be fought in this RP. Each post is marked at the top with the name of the region these enemies are located, such as Whale Island. Each post will have quotation boxes labeled with a location name, such as Orca Jungle. Within these quotation boxes are the bestiary entries for what enemies can be fought in each location. Each enemy has a designated amount of stats according to its level. Pay mind to the chart below for more.

Whale Island


    Orca Jungle
    Name: Acid Monitor
    A four-feet-long monitor lizard that drools caustic saliva when it is under stress. They are commonly found in Orca Jungle on Whale Island and several otherf locations around the world. It has purple skin and green dots along it's back, which can come in various patterns and slightly different hues. When in groups, these lizards can prove deadly.

    Techniques
    Acid Drool - [ Point Cost = 5 Stamina ]
    The acid monitor begins to drool for five rounds of combat. Being bitten will cause a character to lose 2HP every round of combat for three rounds.

    Name: Hornette
    A rather ferocious insect that falls within the bee Family. Hornettes grow to be up to 10” long, and are known to have thick and durable complex polymer exoskeletons that can be repurposed into armour. Hornettes are also known to produce one of the world’s most potent neurotoxins, which in its full dose is known to be able to completely shut down its victim’s central nervous system in a matter of minutes. Hornette venom, if freshly extracted from the gland, has potent medicinal (sedative) properties in appropriate dilutions.

    Techniques
    Fell Stinger - [ Passive ]
    The Hornette has a long stinger that delivers a potent venom and leaves a shockingly painful wound. If the beast attacks and successfully hits its target, they will take 10HP in damage. On each of that target's turns, they will take 5HP in damage from poison a total of three times. Being stung again by the Hornette resets the poison count.

    - A durable natural polymer with many practical applications. Hornette polymer is often sold by the gram. Following appropriate chemical treatment, the polymer can be reshaped into armour, weaponry, or building material.
    Hornette Venom [ J5,000 / mL ]
    - The natural venom of a Hornette, if extracted from its venom sac, has potent medicinal properties as a natural sedative. It is most famously known for its non-addictive properties, and used typically in high-end hospitals as an anesthetic (1/1000 dilution) or sedative (1/750 dilution).

    Name: Foxbear Cub
    A fox bear cub might not be as powerful and strong as a parent. But, finding one will mean that the parent is near and should be approached with caution. These cubs are only maybe one and a half feet long, weigh no more than six pounds and are undeniably adorable. Messing with one is likely to call it's mother, but sometimes the cubs do wander far enough away from their mothers and are victims to poaching or other beasts.

    Techniques
    Beast Claw- [ Point Cost = 3 Stamina ]
    A powerful swing from the animal that comes to you with their claws, flesh are slashed and bones are broken guaranteed. If you are lucky, you'll only be getting a few cuts.. This replaces the basic attack action to do a stronger attack of 5HP in damage.

    Name: Foxbear
    As the name suggests, this is a large creature which, as their name suggests, are a hybrid of a bear and a fox. They are large and aggressive territorial beasts who reside in the forests of Whale Island. They mark their territory by leaving claw marks on trees and if their territory is approached they will attack the intruder, especially females with cubs.

    Techniques
    Super Beast Claw - [ Point Cost = 20 Stamina ]
    A very powerful swing with the fury of a great beast behind it. The beast swipes with its front claws and rakes them across the target's body. This does 15HP in damage plus an addition amount of damage equal to 5% of the Strength Stat.


    Coraldale
    Name: Coral Crab
    A crab beast that is no larger than a foot tall and two feet wide. Coral crusts the top of its shell and it's large claws. It is rather aggressive once it has been threatened. It usually is found resting among the coral within Coraldale. Unlucky dungeon delvers often step on it while traversing the area, angering it and causing it to attack.

    A large meaty claw perfect for boiling for a meal. This is a level 1 food item and can be made edible by a Gourmet. Eating this once it is edible recovers 20% of your total HP.

    Name: Great Coral Crab
    A massively overgrown coral crab. This beast is crusted entirely in sharp coral and has a great temper. The presence of intruders in its domain is enough to incite its attack. It stands at five feet tall and ten feet wide. Its claws are roughly the size of a full grown man's torso. It usually sleeps for days at a time at the bottom of Coraldale's lake but will surface when disturbed.

    This beast spews a jet of water straight ahead up to 20m. This jet can easily pierce through both flesh and stone like they're butter. This dangeous move deals damage equal to 15% of the Strength Stat.

    A gorgeous cluster of coral from the top of the Great Coral Crab's shell. This cluster is quite valuable to the right buyer. It can sell for J150,000.

Rokario


    Zho Work Camp
    Name: Escaped Petty Crook
    This criminal has been serving time at the Zho Work Camp for charges they didn't really commit, but got locked away there because they resisted arrest and did so for quite a while. They aren't very skilled and really have no way of surviving now that they've left the prison. You should return this prisoner back to serve out the rest of their sentence after teaching them a lesson about breaking out.

    Name: Escaped Arsonist
    This criminal has been sent here for a reason. They have set fire to countless homes and murdered many people in the process. They've even set off a few small scale explosions. If they weren't locked up, they'd probably try to set off even larger scale explosions throughout Rokario. Make sure this convict stays put in the work camp.

    Escaped Arsonist shoves their palms forward and releases a straight jet of nen flames up to five meters in front of them. Damage scales at 10% of the Aura Stat.

    Magma Orb - [ Point Cost = 80 Aura ]
    Escaped Arsonist creates a 1m diameter orb of molten magma made from nen and can launch it at their target. Damage scales at 40% of the Aura Stat.

    Name: Escaped Serial Killer
    This criminal is an enhancer waiting to happen. They were put away for their raw brutality in slaughtering innocents. They are abnormally large in size, standing at eight feet in height and swelling with muscle. On the bright side for anyone who has to fight this criminal, they don't have nen. Keep your wits about you trying to fight this individual and make sure that they stay locked up or dead. There's no way they can be allowed to return to society and wreak havoc.

    Name: Purse Snatcher
    This criminal is nothing but a weakling trying to commit petty thievery for extra cash. They're not capable of any real harm, but they still have to be taught a lesson. Hunters, take them down and turn them in.

    A standard 3in. blade with a somewhat fine handle, though it is worn down quite a bit. Basic attacks with this weapon deal a base damage of 10HP. Same Strength modifier for a basic attack applies.

    Red Lions Gang
    A squad of criminals, each led by one of three bosses. The gang is considered the top of the crime gangs here in the district. You're likely to run into their thugs anywhere you go in the district. Stay out of their way and they'll leave you alone. Do anything to get on their radar on you may incur the wrath of their enforcers.
    Name: Red Lions Thug
    This criminal is one of the many members of the Red Lions gang who patrol the streets and keep watch of the activity of the district. They report everything back to the enforcers, who then report to the bosses. These thugs are all recruited for their position because they are large, muscular men who are good for giving someone a beat down who needs it. If someone isn't listening to the demands of the Red Lion gang, these guys are the first to take a crack and whooping some a**. Hunters should be wary of them when they are in groups.

    This criminal is a low ranking Nen user who works for the Red Lions Gang. All Enforcers are required to be Enhancers, as are the bosses. If the thugs were stronger and capable of using Nen, they'd likely end up ranking up to this position if they became Enhancers.

    Name: Red Lion Twins [counts as 2 enemies]
    Two criminals who are competent Enhancers. They each are considered bosses, but are not quite as powerful as the third boss. These twins are native to the land of Jappon and use their homeland's martial arts mastery to defeat their opponents. They always fight together. The twins both have the same style, a white gi and red belt, a red headband on their forehead, and extremely well-toned bodies. They both has black, short hair that is only about two inches long

    Techniques
    Fluidity of Motion - [ Point Cost = 100 Aura ]
    Whichever twin activates this attack allows them to strike harder, the more they attack in one round of combat, the stronger their attacks become. For the duration of the technique, the second attack action they take does double damage. The third does triple and so on. This techniques lasts for 10 posts.

    Name: Big Boss "Biggie"
    This criminal is one of the three top dogs that lead the Red Lions. He stands at 10ft. tall and weighs around 500 pounds. He fat as hell, but his nen ability allows him to grow to even greater sizes and convert his fat into raw muscle with nen. This massive, bald man is always shirtless to show his entire body covered in tattoos of various sorts. He wears a specially made pair of sweatpants that will stretch to conform whatever size he is so when he grows he doesn't lose his pants around his angles.

    Techniques
    Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em - [ Point Cost = 100 Stamina ]
    Biggie unleashes a flurry of several strike to the body of the target. With Biggie's incredible strength, this usually finishes off whoever gets caught in the attack. The deals damage equal to 50% of the Strength Stat.

    Big Body Biggie - [ Point Cost = 200 Aura ]
    Biggie converts his fat into muscle temporarily and also grows to 15ft tall and weighing 800 lbs. Biggie gains double the amount of Strength Stat as long as he remains in this form. This form lasts until willed to end by Biggie or knocked unconscious.

    Supercharge - [ Point Cost = 100 Aura ]
    Biggie floods his body with aura and begins to grow more powerful. For [5] rounds of combat, his Strength Stat is increased by 50%.
