Prompt PLAYFUL CRITTERS Roleplay Event
Solo or RP Format Worth 5 Growth Points Solo word minimum is 500, RP post minimum is 7 The swampy waters of elehun seemed to be full of life lately. The warm summer weather had brought out all sorts of critters to play, and it wasn’t just those on land that were making their appearance. A family of enhudra could be seen flitting and diving around the village and seemed to take a particular interest in a single menehune. Their scaled bodies would glint and flicker in the lights coming from the sky above the waters as the three of them swirled and poked at the unfortunate kahikinan.

Today, was a new day! Liloa awoke with a start. She was ready for the day. She helped her mother with morning chores then set out to play. It was summer, and the temperature was hot, so Liloa set of for the swamp. When she got there, she dove in, making a HUGE splash. Ahhh. When the refreshing feel of cool water covered her body, Liloa let out a laugh. She was loving this day. She swam around the brown waters of the swamp and splashed around. She did some water angels as she was floating atop the waters. She also did lots of cool diving poses as she would climb out of the waters and jump back in, each time she tried a new pose.
As if the swamp were responding to Liloas excitement, small ripples formed near her. Liloa glanced over with curiosity. What could this be? Suddenly a small little creature popped out of the water, did a spin in the air, and popped back into the muddy colored water. Wow! Liloa had never seen these before. She had no idea what they were, but she want to catch one and keep it as a pet. More and more showed up and started jumping from one place in the swamp to another. Liloa was mesmerized. Their synchronized jumps looked like a little playful dance to Liloa. They took turns jumping out and in of the water in all sorts of directions. With these jumps they made such designs like drawing out flowers and trees and designs. Liloa really liked the dance, and now she knew she really wanted to have these creatures as pets so maybe she could join them in their fun as well.
Liloa reached blindly into the air to try and intercept on of the little creatures, but their slick bodies just twisted and glided right by her hand. She kept trying and trying. But they just kept their little dance going. Liloa started feeling embarrassed. she thought, 'They must be laughing at me.' As she kept trying, she got more and more frustrated. Soon, she just gave up with a huff.
But there was a small feeling of incompetence as she had failed to catch one. She turned around to try again, but when she saw that the creatures had stopped and were looking at her with their small beady little eyes, she knew that it would be mean to catch one. 'But it wouldnt hurt to play with them for a while.' Liloa thought as she started diving into the muddy waters of the swamp laughing.
At first, she had a hard time thinking of anything to do when she watched the little creatures jump around. She wondered where she could ever fit into this. But as she started with some simple moves like waving her arms or jumping in and out of the water. Soon, Liloa relaxed and started letting her body move and then she was able to slowly feel the rhythm of their dance. Then she started joining in and laughed. This wasnt so hard. She just had to relax and go with flow just like she did when she floated on the water and let it cruise her wherever the current wants to take her.
