Physical Description: Vodex is lean, muscular, long scar across the bridge of his nose and a few more on his left cheek from getting into too many scraps. He has bright green eyes and currently sporting a pink hair color typically pulled back into a loose ponytail. There is a slight tan to his skin from spending a great deal of his time outside without a roof over his head and a rather lopsided grin on his face. There are more scars decorating his chest, arms, and legs with various sizes and lengths and his nose has a bit of a broken look to is as if he was unfortunate in getting hit in the face. Despite the heat he is fond of leather and furs and if the weather ever permits he would love to wear a fur collar jacket.
Personality:
Vodex loves attention, growing up he tried to do what he could to get the attention of his family, even if it was the wrong sort of attention, causing some sort of disruption, or even just speaking louder than everyone else. He likes to tell jokes, and learning from pirates the cruder the jokes the better the response and he won’t hold back unless he realizes someone is far too uncomfortable with them. When he takes the time Vodex can put himself into other people’s shoes, he tends to not put blame on others when things go wrong or when they even do harm against him and tries to imagine that they was reason for it. He has a soft spot for kids without families or who can’t really fend for themselves and will do what he can to protect them if they need it and will even give away the last penny in his pocket for them.
There is a dream that one day he will visit the entire world, see everything that is to see out there, to climb every mountain and if even possible swim to every part of the world if it is possible. There isn’t anything that Vodex isn’t willing to at least try once, even if it is rather questionable food (and he can problem say he has eaten worse from the trash). That being said he will also volunteer for most things, boring, not boring possibly life threatening he is there with his hand raised and ready to go.
While he has good qualities Vodex can be rather stubborn, he doesn’t tend to back down from any challenge and tends to get himself wounded, harmed, and maimed from not giving up when he should. He tends to stand his ground on his opinions, defending even if he knows he is wrong or better option out there or defending someone else he believes even if they are of questionable character. While there are times he put forth some thought when it comes to people and their feelings Vodex tends to leap into situations without thought, he tends to put himself into harm’s way without considering what will happen to him or what will happen to the rest of the group. A lot of times he thinks he can solve a problem by brute force but that isn’t always the case. He also tends to do stupid stunts, he won’t back down from a dare, and he likes to live his life on the adrenaline edge.
Vodex gives the impression he has confidence, he tends to blurt things out and tends to be loud and in the center of attention but he is less confident then what most people think. Growing up being told he was worthless like his father has made a significant dent in his life, and while he likes to think that he has a group of a friends he isn’t entirely sure that they are his friends, he worries that they don’t really like him and are putting on airs, that they have whispers behind his back and that one day they will turn him away because of father’s mistakes.

History:
Vodex was born in Black Sands, his mother dying giving birth and his father some unforgivable man who had taken advantage of his mother, or so his grandparents often told him. While he grew up under the care and tutlege of his grandparents there was a lack of love in his home and for the most part unfair treatment on their part. Vodex had reminded them of their lost daughter and even more so the unwanted b*****d kid she had so willingly brought into the world despite their extreme objection. Even with their treatment Vodex is only says polite words about them, usually things around how they were at least willing enough to care for him until he was old enough to be on his own which of course happened at the age of eleven. After getting into one too many fights, dangerous stunts, and pickpocketing he was thrown out of their home to keep his bad influence (in which they always contributed from his father’s genes) from effecting his cousins.
It was rough at first for the boy, while he harbored no ill will to his family (at least not outwardly) he struggled for a year living off what he could steal and fending what little he had off from others until a small pirate crew picked him up to be a cabin boy on their ship. It wasn’t easy but it was a roof over his head and for some part there was at least food for him no matter what. After losing their captain and their ship crumbling into dust they went their separate ways leaving Vodex at a loss of what to do until a young rider and their blue dragon offered a new potential home.
