Physical Description: Standing at about 6'0, he's not extremely tall but he has definitely hasn't grown into his limbs. He's a bit on the thin side and his skin is dark tan and scarred. The left side of his face, chest, and left arm are all covered in a scarred over burn. He often keeps them covered and grows his hair fairly long to cover the burns on his face and neck. He's fond of earth toned clothes if he has the choice.
Personality: While he's not quick to trust or to make friends, Sylyas is a loyal friend once you get passed all his.. aggressiveness. Sylyas has a bit of a temper and low-self esteem which are a dangerous combination. While he's not likely to pick a fight, he's not against defending himself, physically. He tends to hyper focus on things, making him a perfectionist and he does quite well in schooling. He's also rather quiet and tends to be a bit of a loner.

History: Born to a pair of farmers, Sylyas was well-loved by his parents and spent much of his childhood toddling around at their heels as they worked. Just shy of his eighth birthday, a group of raiders arrived at their farm. They burned a majority of the farm, including the house where Sylyas and his parents were sleeping. Sylyas was the only one to make it out and barely so. He was severely burned and choked with smoke. Friends of his parents took him in and nursed the young boy back to health. For several years he rarely talked and as he got older, his anger seemed only to grow. His guardians tried to help but to no avail.

That's when the dragon rider showed up!

Other: He has kind of a crunchy? voice because his vocal cords are slightly damaged. So he doesn't really talk much.
