FLOATING STEPS A little leap-frog, a little pinball bumpers! It's up to you to make it from platform to platform as quickly as you can to cross between Point A and Point B. There's a set of six bumpers angled at 45 degrees. It's going to take a lot of agility to complete this run, although strength might come into play if you find yourself falling.
3 (+1 Agility) - Bumpy start, but after the third bumper you've finally gotten the hang of it! It might just be smooth sailing through the last three. Maybe. BIG DIPPER Jump up and grab on, you're in for a ride! Use your strength to keep your grip as you slide down the track. Holding on is only the first part of this trip, though. The important part is that you stick your landing as you launch off the end towards your next step...
6 - Flawless. PIPE FITTER Launch from the end of the dipper and grab on! The higher up you latch on to the foam pipe the less of a climb you'll have before it's time to swing. Again, you're going to need your strength to support you as you sway across two trapeze-style pipe bars. Time your leaps just right and you'll be able to shimmy down the trunk at the end where you'll have a moment to catch your breath and prepare your balance.
6 (+1 from Big Dipper) - Flawless. BLOCK RUN This is all about agility! Five two by two cubes are lined up six inches apart on a rod. Keep your footfalls light or the cubes will spin, just waiting to throw you off. Take a running start and go! You're going to need that momentum for what comes next.
3 (Agility Bonus) - Grats! Halfway has never looked so awkward. You fumbled to start but it's smooth sailing from here on out. BLOCK RUN Don't let this be what hangs you out to dry! Once more you're going to be relying on your strength to get a good momentum as you swing from one upside-down metal laundry basket to the next. Just be careful, they're likely to turn like a steering wheel as your weight pulls them around.
6 - Flawless. WARPED WALL Take a deep breath, center yourself and give it your best run. Agility should help with keeping your feet light while strength may be needed to help you pull yourself up and over the ledge. Once you've made it, hit the button and you're done!
4 - Y'know, I almost didn't think you were going to make it but you here you are!

He should not have been angry, and yet he was.
Or rather, to be more precise, Adrien had gone past the level of anger that was normally a healthy amount and had settled into a cold sort of detachment instead. His emotions kept surging into chaotic, messy bouts of frustration, bitterness, and sadness, and then ebbing back into depression, anxiety, and self-loathing just as quickly. Everything felt all over the place, so much so that he felt almost unhinged, breaking apart at the seams.
Maybe that was why he was here now, though he was still refusing to even think of his own behavior. This wasn't even something that he normally participated in, but he was here now and he could feel the adrenaline pulsing in his veins, his hands shaking a little with the effort of keeping himself calm.
Focus. Focus.
Adrien was certainly focused. Hyper focused on the course laid out in front of him, in fact, dressed disbelievingly in a pair of form-fitting black workout pants and a teeshirt that proclaimed b***h across the front of it in large block letters.
It was an accurate representation of his current feelings, Adrien thought.
The first part of the course resulted in a lot of almost misbalancing, which wasn't a good start to things. Adrien's arms shot out to either side of him as he stumbled over the third step to the fourth, nearly misjudging how much space he had and toppling over into the water below in the process. He took a breath and leapt to the platform on the other side with a small thump and then straightened, feeling his face redden a little with the reminder that he'd almost failed in the very first stage.
It was annoying. And aggravating.
Adrien crossed to the bar on the other side of the platform, wrapping his fingers around it with gritted teeth, his heart pounding against his ribcage. The adrenaline was still throbbing through him, but his gaze was now laser focused on the platform across from him, the one he would need to land on. It looked quite a far ways away.
Something akin to anger shivered through him unexpectedly. Adrien ignored it.
He went whizzing down the track, wind whistling past him and then let go at the exact moment he felt his body reach the apex of the swing, Adrien flipping over once and then landing in a graceful arc on top of the mats on the other platform. He straightened, feeling absurdly and ridiculously pleased with himself, a savage, vicious pleasure that ate at his throat and chewed at his heart.
He should not have been good at the pipe stage, but Adrien's determination and bristling, overflowing emotions made up for what he lacked in upper body strength. He wasn't a weakling, but it wasn't as though he was buff or impressive looking - and this thought alone made him scowl, made his heart lurch in his chest, made his head scream with several different emotions that he didn't want to think about it.
Just keep going. You can do this.
The blocks were, overall, a chaotic mess. Adrien slipped and stumbled and almost toppled over on his first few steps, swearing in an entirely uncharacteristic Adrien way, but he managed to grapple on and hoist himself vertical again, staggering almost drunkenly to the other side.
He kept running without stopping, up the ramp, up until his legs burned, until his lungs were shrieking at him to stop, Adrien gasping and stumbling and swearing and spitting with anger, feeling the hurt and betrayal and loss clawing at him, dragging him down under again, until -
Until, at last, his arms burning in agony, Adrien hoisted himself up the side of the curved wall and collapsed, gasping, on the top platform.
