Name: Draven
Title: Guardian of Shadows
Age: Appears about 18, real age unknown, but very old
Gender: Male
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 120lbs
Appearance: Draven is slim built, though he does has some muscle tone, enough to use the sword at his side. With raven black hair that comes down just below his shoulders and dark blue eyes. He rarely shows emotion on his pale face, but that comes with a well guarded personality. Draven has two dress types, casual being a pair of black breeches and a blue shirt that matches his eyes and bare feet. The other is in well crafted silver plate armor with small diamonds studded into the shoulder plates and crest of his helmet. Painted on the front of the armor his emblem, a down turned, unsheathed sword with a rearing serpent coiled up the blade and resting on the crossbar. Lastly are the large sets of wings on his back, yes sets. Draven has four black and white tipped wings. One setting high on his shoulder blades, the others just a ways below giving his arms much needed mobility. When folded they look much like a richly feathered cloak then anything else until unfolded.
Personality: Draven's personality has changed through the many years he has lived. But he has come far from his reckless mortal years to a well guarded persona. With a face that is like stone and it takes a lot for him to be pissed off. Well versed in the ways of the sword he rarely uses the magic within the sword itself. Over all Draven is a well mannered character, he tries not to insult people and will come out with what is on his mind whether or not it is what they want to hear. When Draven does get into a fight, he will throw a few punches to give the other person something to think about, but he won't hit someone out right there will have to be a very good reason. Worse comes to worse, he can always put up a containment field around the offensive(ed) foe until they calm down enough to talk and think rationally.
Weaponry: A single three foot long, blade crafted from black metal called Demon's Ore. With edges that never dull, the blade is said to cut cleanly through most anything. Though this has never been tested. Etched into the elderberry wood hilt and along the crossbar are five spells. These spells being the lives work of five wizards that gave their lives to safeguard their magics.
Magics within the blade: Mind that these magics don't appear as you would commonly think of. They come in the forms of living lightening bugs, yes bugs. Each one has a different color and magic attached to them, here is a rough list of what they are and their effects.
- Destruction - The Black Lightening bug, Can create a small(1foot) to Large (30 feet) Hole about 3 feet deep, it all depends on how pissed he is. Otherwise harmless. (Cool down period: A Millenia) [Please note that this one has lost a lot of strength since Draven's death and has since shattered; it used to be able to level whole villages up got 20 miles in diameter]
- Light - White Lightening Bug. creates light where there is darkness and stuns a foe if stepped on for 2 minutes. (Cool Down Period: depending on the spell 15 minutes to 2 days)
- Renewal/healing - Green Lightening Bug - Has two abilities, but both around plants. First is the ability to scatter seeds in a heavily devastated area to grow new plant life. The other, healing, it creates a large blossom for the injured/sick to be placed in and is slowly healed depending on what's wrong. This also depends on if the person wishes to be healed, if they don't the spell will fail. (Cool Down Period: Depending on the spell 3 hours to 1 day)
- Shield - Yellow/orange - Creates a shield against a foe, the shield comes together as a crossed sword and wand lasts for only a minute before needing recasting. (Cool down period: 5 Minutes)
- Containment - Blue- Creates a neutral zone around someone so that they can't be hurt and can't hurt anyone else, this lasts until the spell is called back. (cool down period: 5 minutes)
History: Draven doesn't remember much of his past being that most of his memories were lost when he was killed for destroying a village out of rage. What the rage was he doesn't remember that either. What he does remember was his time as a heavenly being, one that pined away at trying to come to terms with what he could remember doing. Then falling for the beauty of the black garden. There he seals himself to the garden, this being he plucked a blossom in full bloom and half his soul was taken and is well guarded at the back of the garden. Today he still guards the garden and the out lands making sure that no one gets into the garden and make the same mistake he has and so that no one can steal the blossoms for poisons.

Garden of Black Roses;
This world is like one no one would like to come across. It is one of darkness and shadows, the garden if field upon field of black roses. One might think, 'pfft they are only roses who cares?' You might of you get poisoned from one. Yes these flowers are poisonous, but let me break everything down for you.
Weather: Dark, always cloudy and at times rains acid. (Roses can't stand pure water or sunlight.)
Roses: Proper name; Rose of Markathieth. Black roses that live in large bushes and vines of dark green and carry lots of thorns. Just plucking one from a vine or bush seals half your soul to the garden for eternity.
Serpents of the garden: Yes there are snakes here and they have a purpose. These snakes are black and dark green vipers. If someone has ingested or some how become poisoned from these flowers, a bite from one of the garden serpents will counter act it.
Poison creation: Though I wouldn't normally put anything here. I think you should know. Markathieth poison is fast acting and will shut down your internal organs in the most painful of ways. But to make this poison, someone must some how get the unopened blossoms of the roses from the garden. Let them dry in the sunlight until they are good and withered. Crush then on a flat stone tilted away from you and let the juice run down into a bowl. Also make sure that you are in a well air room, or if outside with the wind at your back. the smell from these flowers can give you one hell of a headache and cause vomiting. After that, you have the poison and able to use it in any way you like. Be mindful to burn the unused blossoms as they will slowly flake away and poison the air in the room you have stored them in.
